However when users are trying to connect to the AP, authentication seems to be accepted but users are not connected. I suspected the issue in DHCP but even on static IP the user is not connected.I dont believe any LAN issue is there cause I connected a PC to the same interface where the AP is connected and it took an IP from the required VLAN (1234) [code]

View 1 Replies View RelatedI can't seem to enable in ASA with a non-15 privilege level user configured in ACS 4.2 (tacacs). When I enable in IOS device, it enables and "show privilege" shows level 10 as expected. ACS should be configured correctly as it works fine with IOS. User is not set with explicit settings. Group is set with "max enable level" 15 and "shell exec priv level" 15. The enable password is set to the internal ACS PAP password. Works fine in IOS.When I enable in ASA, it fails to enable, and ACS log says "Tacacs+ enable privilege too low". I suspect that ASA tries to enable into level 15 explicitely. If I try to issue "enable 10" command in ASA it says: Enabling to privilege levels is not allowed when configured for AAA authentication. Use 'enable' only. [code]
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Cisco 4402 Wireless LAN Controller and 4 x AIR-LAP1131AG-A-K9 access points. We run a combination of [WPA +WPA2]Auth(802.1x) as well as [WPA2]Auth(PSK), most people have their own login credentials...The primary client devices are MacBooks and iPhones, with some Windows and other mobile manufacturer being the minority.
The Issue I have one user (using a recent MacBook Air, latest OS, using Auth(802.1X) ), that keeps getting disconnected for no apparent reason, the user account has been setup exactly the same as every other user and his laptop doesn't have this issue when connected to other WiFi networks. It's worth noting: I noticed this particular user has a lot of "Decrypt Failed" (currently 213) associated with his MAC address, no other user on our network has a single "Decrypt Failed" associated with their MAC...
I'm not sure if this is a recent issue for our setup, but I've only just noticed it. Although most authenticated users are shown by their correct user names (which are required for 802.1x authentication), a few users show up in the WCS reports as "anonymous", and one as "anonymous@myabc.com", which are not valid usernames on our network.
I can track these users by MAC via our network registration database, but have not yet figured what makes their systems unique. All three in yesterday's report are Win 7. I don't see anything strange in the RADIUS logs, but have not yet caputured "debug" traces of wireless authentication from an anonymous user.
We are running WCS 7.0.172.0 , with a pair of WLC 4402 controllers running 7.0.116.0 . Our WPA2 Enterprise auth uses TTLS/PAP, with the SecureW2 supplicant for Windows.
Not able to register AP Point < Air-Cap35021-E-K9 > on 4402 WLC running IOS (AIR-WLC4400-K9-7-0-235-0 ) Other AP already registered on the WLC are AIR-LAP1242AG-E-K9 & AIR-LAP1131AG-E-K9.

View 4 Replies View RelatedHow do I connect and configure my WAP54G wireless access point to my new Cable Modem? I have it connected to the modem but I cannot access it to configure it. It appears to be working but before I got the cable modem I had it connected to a router and it was set-up with a static IP address. View 1 Replies View RelatedI just bought an LG Bluray DVD player (BD390) which is unable to find the access point in my home network. My router is a WRT54G, ver. 2.2, running firmware: Ver.4.21.1. My home network uses high speed cable with two computers on the wireless network, all working with no problems. The router is on the second floor but the two computers and the new BD390 are on the first floor - about 35 feet away. I have the wirelss security set to none and use only the specific computer MAC addresses to allow connection to this network.
I found directions in the forum for a setup using the LG BD390 but with a different Linksys router. I changed the security to WPA (AES); the Beacon interval from 100 to 75; the Fragmentation Threshold from 2346 to 2304; and the RTS Threshold from 2347 to 2307. The DVD wireless connection still failed to find my network. There is a "Push button" connection feature on the BD390 setup which I tried, but the only "button" on the router I could find was in the basic wireless setting, a green icon for the wireless SSID setup. No connection was made there either.
The recommendation connection from the LG manual is for a network cable, but that would be over 50 feet and a real pain to connect, so I would prefer WiFi.
I am testing rogue on wire using 5508 WLC and , I have a dedicated AP configured as rogue detector and configured the switch port where the Rogue detector is connected as trunk. I have plugged in an autonomous AP with open authentication to the same switch so that it can act as a rogue. On the WLC, I can see that Autonomous AP as rogue on Wire. But along with that I am seeing another AP as rogue on wire, even though i have plugged in only one Autonomous AP to the switch.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've got a AP WAP54G. I've managed to get into the configuration page and rename my router and set a WPA2-Personl password.
The issue I'm facing is that when me and my roomate try to connect to the router at the same time, it shows the laptop that connects second as one that has 'limited connectivity' and hence cannot use the internet. The 1st laptop however works fine!
The settings for the router have all been left to default.
I'm not sure, but does this problem have anything to do with the fact that the router in configured with a static IP. If so, then there is another issure which is that whenever I try to change it from static to automatic/dynamic IP, the page fails and the router doesn't even get connected to the configuraion page(192.168.1.245) after that. The only way to get that page again is the reset the router.
Also I'm not able to directly get into the config page when I connect my router to my laptop via lan. I need to change the LAN IP to 192.168.1.x where x is >1.
What I want to do is the opposite of most configurations. I live on a small island with only one DSL connection. The modem is wired connected to a WAP54G Access point. To extend this access point want to use a WRT54G.

I've tried every work-about I could find and always get the 51300 error code, and am at a loss as to what else I can try to get the devices to connect to the access point.

I have 5 WLCs and will do too the upgrade in the WLCs to version 7.2.130.0.
Will I lose some configuration with these upgrades ? Because the version 1.1.0.58 has more features than version 1.0.1.4 in the NCS and the WLC was adjusted some bugs.
The configurations that i has in the NCS version 1.0.1.4 is H-REAP and in the version 1.1.0.58 will be the FlexConnect, theoretically is the same, but i don't know if the configuration is the same in the two versions.
Can i do a downgrade in the NCS from version 1.1.0.58 to 1.0.1.4 if i have problems ? I was looking for a document who show how can i do this, but i didn't find nothing about.
