I have added manually the cisco asa 5520 to lms 4.2 , because automatically the lms didn't discover it ,however when i tried to open the device using cisco.MessageCannot find applicable device package for 192.168.100.100This error could be due to one of the following:- The device package for this device type is not installed.- Device support for this device type is not available.- You are trying to open a component inside a device.To correct the problem, either install a device package for the device type, or open the parent device to manage the component.

I have a trouble with Cisco view 6.1.8. I had update offline device package because i don't have internet . When i connect to switch router 3945 and switch 3750, router 2911 on Cisco view then I receive "cannot find applicable device package for 10.1.241.10". Need to reinstall device package. The version of Cisco work LMS is 3.2. I check Active log and receive message .

I can't choose any devices when I try to launch a NetConfig Job in LMS 3.2.
I have to check in the job summary if the device on which I'll apply the job is the good one.

i am setting up a LAN to LAN VPN between Cisco ASA 5520 and Juniper device. its my first time i am setting this up. What will be the peer device of my device that i need to give to the other person.. is this the outside address of my device ?
Also with the setup i have made i am getting the follwong error msg:

I had a Linksys BEFSR41 router with AppleTV 1stGen with 0 problems.Now I have a DIR-655 Vb1 2.00NA firmware and itunes now cannot find the AppleTV as a device. I have tried resetting the AppleTV to factory defaults re-installing latest firmware and reinstalling itunes, powering down all devices etc., and no way can itunes find the appleTV although the appleTV is on the net and seen by the router.I have gone to a wired connection to the router too because the router kept dropping the wireless connection to the router too. I try to change password on the ASA 5520 device and its not getting changed.

After that I perform a write memory.
But somehow I relogin again the enable password still remain as the old enable password
version : 7.2(5)2.

I'll have to replace an old WS-C3550-24. Reasons for this: EOL/EOS & we'll need a NAT capable device...
As I understood, the only L3 catalyst that is able to perform NAT is a 6500? Is that correct? If the above is correct, it seems I can only replace the setup by using a router/ASA with a L2 switch. A router with high throughput (+/- 300Mbps) is hard to find, especially as NAT will require CPU resources...
So, my best (affordable price) solution is getting an ASA5520 (450Mbps FW throughput) and a L2 switch?

can't find my wireless adapter in Device Manager.I was able to detect wireless connectivity yesterday. After we replaced our router, my laptop says my wireless adapter is disabled.I am unable to find the "Manage wireless networks" in Open Network and Sharing Center. I've tried to set up IPSec over TCP with a VPN-Client V5.0.07.0440 on Win 7 64b to my ASA 5520 (Version 8.2(2)16) regarding to

and in the transport tap of the VPN connection 'enable transport tunneling' with IPSec over TCP an port 10000 instead of 'IPSec over UDP' The connect timed out with error code 412 And this is my log from the ASA:

I have a new ACS 5.3 configure and a ASA5550 to authenticate VPN users using a remote LDAP server. Once I try to authenticate the users with the ACS it gives me the error message "22056 Subject not found in the applicable identity store(s)."
I checked out the documentation and have already configure the Identity store sequences to redirect everything to the LDAP server, I also did the Bind test and it says that is ok, but I still have the same problem.
I validated the Access Policies Menu, and tried to create a new Service Selection Rules, but whet I get to the option of modifying the Identity option I get the error: "This System Failure occurred: {0}. Your changes have not been saved.Click OK to return to the list page. " and I'm not able to modify the identity, not in this new option I created, nor in the ones already created in the ACS.

I have two ACS v 5.2 (primary and secundary) and some users are in the internal stor and the others are in the AD.The local site topology is like this:
PC - AP - WLC - ACS - AD
Authentication method is PEAP(EAP-MSCHAPv2) and all user have the certificate company installed. The OS in the client users is Windows 7.Users was working fine but some users reports intranet disconnections. I see in the ACS log many "22056 Subject not found in the applicable identity store(s)." and "24415 User authentication against Active Directory failed since user's account is locked out" alarms.I believed it was because user wasn´t in the AD data base, but some times the same user is authenticated successfull and other i see the "22056...." or "24415...." alarms.
I switched the role for ACS primary to works as secundary and we see the same alarms.
