Cisco :: How To Restore Monitor Dashboard In LMS 4.1
Dec 12, 2011I seem to have lost all portlets under the monitor dashboard in lms 4.1. I am not able to add any either. Is it possible to restore theese portlets in some way ?

Sep 25, 2011A 'com.liferay.portal.NoSuchUserException.no such user with primary key 10002491'' error was encounterd when I tried to access ACS 5.2 dashboard using my account (10002491). Using ACSAdmin account I can view the dashboard. My account and ACSAdmin has the same profile and privilege in ACS.

Apr 28, 2013I'm at the point of setting up admin access for engineers needing to have insight into the operations and status of our ACS 5.3 systems. any way to create a Dashboard that can be applied to all admin user accounts? (perhaps a custom role?)I've been able to customize the dashboard for my own account to show what is most relevant, but am unable to figure out how to apply this layout and setup to all other users.
Basically, I have a number of folks that need to see this data, but that I can't exactly count on to setup their own dashboards to show the important details. If there were some way to build a tab/dashboard/portlet, etc (whatver it may be) and have it apply to all users, that would save me TONS of work so that I don't have to login to each person's account and set things up for them.For example, I want to have all users see a tab/dashboard that shows the applet "Live Authentications", but with the protocol already configured to display TACACS vs the default which is RADIUS.

Feb 3, 2011Today I upgraded my Cisco ASA 5505 ASDM from version 6.34 to 6.41 cause of some problems on old version with NetFlow. But now when I switch to dashboard i can not see "Top Usage" tab. That was quite usefull for me. It simply disappeared.
Can i somehow configure which tabs are displayed on dashboard ? I really need that one and I do not want to downgrade :/

Mar 30, 2013I just purchased the EA4500 router and went through the setup with no issues. The only problem is I cannot access the router either locally or through the Smart Wifi dashboard. Everytime I go to the page with "Access Router", enter the password and clikc the "Submit" button it does nothing...no incorrect password prompt or idle prompt...almost like the page is broken somehow. I've done all of the usual, restart router, restart PC, restart cable modem, etc. and always having the same result.

Aug 24, 2011I was trying to erase my lab router 2600 and reset it back to the factory defaults. Well I was able to to reset it all right but I used the erase command which worked a little to well. So now there is no IOS and the router is in ROM mode and I didnt back up the pervious IOS "Nice". So was able to get an updated IOS for my 2600 but I'm trying to install it and don't know how. I was able to get a tftp server app for my windows pc but I'm unsure on how to configure it so I can transfer the new IOS to the router. On the up side I did learn something erasing and reset are to very different things.

Oct 20, 2011I've been setting up building and testing our new ACS 5.x boxes and I've been running into a spot of bother with the backup restore feature. This most likely due to my unfamiliarity with the tool.
As part of my testing for Backup/Restore, I first backup the data using the Removal and backup tool in Secure ACS View (found under data management. I then confirm that the new FULL backup has been populated my test repository and is available in the restore feature. (also under Data Management) My next step is to create a few test Network Device Groups, Identity groups, and users Then I go back to the restore feature select the Back up file I just created, I also check the box Skip View Database backup before Restore and hit the restore button.
The box goes through the expected steps including a reload. When it comes back up I would expect the test users, groups etc I created after the last backup to be gone as they did not exist at that time. Although I find the opposite is true. Any settings I made after the last backup are still present. I do not have incremental backups enabled.
I essentially want to test a backup of the database of users and groups/rules etc make changes and then restore that database to the previous backed up configuration.

Jul 31, 2011The problematic PC is AMD triple core, with ASUS M3N78 motherboard and xp professional. PC should connect to internet through the router, TP-Link TL WR340GD, along with 3 other PCs which are all working fine. Basically, the PC caught a virus and I performed system restore. After that, the PC was working fine, except that there was no internet connection. I tried to reset winsock from command promp, but that did not sort the connection problem.I noticed that the yellow light on the back of the tower, for the ethernet cable connection, is yellow when the cable is not plugged in, however, as soon as I plug the ethernet cable in, the light disappears. The same cable is working fine when connected to other PCs so it does not seem to be the cable problem. The information in Network Connections says Limited or no connectivity. Full messages when prompted says: "You might not be able to access the internet or some network resources. The problem occurred because the network did not assign a network address to the computer.To restart the connection and try to establish full connectivity, cliick Repair." and then, after clicking repair, it says:"Windows could not finish repairing the problem because the following action cannot be completed:Renewing your IP address.For assistance contact the person who manages your network."I also tried to release and renew IP address from command promp, but that did not work either.

Sep 26, 2012I have the configuration file of the ASA 5505 I have another exactly model that asa is new but this my first time working with an ASA.
I going to configure it an ip address in the 0/0 interface and then use TFTP to upload the config to the start-up config and the save it and reload the ASA.
