Recently we upgraded a switch with an image from the repository in LMS. After the installation of the image it seemed corrupt.
My question now is : Can we do a MD5 checksum on all the images in the local repository to verify that all images are ok to use?
Error : compressed image checksum is incorrect 0xDC5C5348 Expected a checksum of 0x066C5349I have uploaded a new firmware but same issue after booting, I have check the MD5 checksum in the image and Cisco and they are matching and verified, what could be the reason for all of this ??
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a cisco 2821 router and it has an advanceip image in the flash each time on reboot it gives the message software forced crash and checksum error and finally goes into rommon. i tried xmodem and tftpdnld -r but same problem persists. I even changed the CF with a working router's flash but the same problem occurs.I also loaded an ipbase image of about 13Mb size and all the same problem repeats with it .
View 1 Replies View RelatedThis is a new install of LMS 4.2 evaluation. I have a current install of LMS 3.2 which is working. When I run an Add job for our core 6509 in Software Repository using cisco.com on the 3.2 LMS it works normally. When I attempt the same job in LMS 4.2 for the same device the device is not selectable in the left hand window and it has a message that says (This operation requires Containment data in Inventory. Either this is unavailable) Or (Add Image from CCO not supported). Also and probably related is that LMS 4.2 cannot complete an inventory update on the 6509s that we have and does not say why the inventory job collection failed. So far as I can tell the other devices inventory and offer IOS updates correctly. I ran a job to get all device package updates before I ran any of the jobs. The devices all pass credential checks except for HTTP, which is not activated on the devices.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a case for an LMS 4.0 running in a Live environement (With devices already discovered and organized into seperate groups), where the Device Credential and repository DCR is showing suddenly as empty and only i can see the groups listed, but without any devices in them (Through Inventory > Device Administration > Add/Import/Manage Devices).After a restart of the whole LMS server a few weeks ago, the problem was fixed and the devices appeared again, but now the same issue re-appeared.

I did copy startup-config from my existing Pix515E (8.0.4) to this PIX535, I did NOT pay attention if I had the same "failed to enable checksum capability" before image upgrade or startup-config change?how I can get over with it?
I have just installed LMS 4.1 on a Win2008serverR2. Getting started and discovery are OK. Then I tried to configure all parameters under the Admin Menu. I have a problem with SWIM : the "repository" directory does not exist ! I also tried to import an IOS file into the repository : no way.

I got a weird problem with a PIX 515 (7.2(2).18.I'm natting SIP behind the Firewall [code] Incoming and outgoing SIP-calls are working perfectly. See old conversation [code] Unfortunately, "forwarding-all" function (with a SIP-incoming call to an external number [through the same SIP-Proxy]) is sending the SIP-signal (ringing) but no RTP-flow.

I was wondering how would it be possible for a person to gain access to computer through my router? Or is that even possible? Just a quick rundown, the past few weeks, 2 of my email accounts have been compromised, one was email i had for years, the other was a new random email that i rarely use. In the same week, both these accounts were "hacked" the passwords were changed and i can't get access to them. Same goes for my fb account also compromised. These emails aren't linked to the fb acct neither. I know you might think yeah, i might have clicked on one of these phishing links, but i assure you haven't, i have never entered any of my information on random sites or anything like that. Actually i only really frequent 5 or 6 sites on this certain laptop and i have never downloaded anything on it but songs from iTunes.

I got question about Cisco SF300-24P- is it possible to have management vlan in other vlan than in default vlan?I have default vlan 10 and voice vlan 20, I need to reach switch through voice vlan so I need to set up, interface vlan 20 with ip address. I ask these, because in gui, under Management Interface, IPv4 interface,under Management VLAN, I can only choose vlan 10, which is my default vlan, I dont have option to set ,up, in this case, vlan 20 as management vlan.

I'm looking at the possibility of purchasing a few 3750 to build a switch stack to replace my current core and access switches. I'd like for the stack to support server, SAN, and user traffic, as well as provide simple switch management, redundancy, and failover. I've also been looking at the 4500, 6500, and Nexus series switches (although the Nexus switches maybe a bit too much for my network).
My current environment consists of 3560's as the core/distribution/access switches, a mixture of Hyper-V and VMWare environments (although we're slowly migrating to Hyper-V), an HP SAN (P4500), and about 100 users. Any issues going with the 3750's or have an alternative, more efficient solution?
Normally when we do HSRP with vPC on N7K the device will be Active/Standby in control plane but it will be Active/Active in data plane. In this case any traffic reach to standby device it can forward traffic directly to uplink which is not my desire. My goal is all traffic should pass through active (control plane) device in every case unless active device totally dead. So Is it possible for Nexus 7000 to be HSRP Active/Standby in Data Plane ?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI own 2 different Panasonic IP cameras (BL-C30 and BL-C210A), which in the past have been able to FTP captured images to a host (in this case, the UGOLOG service). Upon upgrading my router to the D-Link DIR-655, this ability stopped. I also tried HTTP transfer, and this too is now unsuccessful.I can access these cameras from the internet, so the router is properly opening the ports. In my testing, I was able to FTP directly to the site via browse (ftp://) with no issues at all. The port/userid/password was accepted. On the cameras, I've played with login timing and data transfer method (active/passive), to no avail. The cameras report: Could not connect to FTP server. (panasonic error code: 133 80005008H) and FTP error 426: Connection closed, transfer aborted.On the DIR-655, firmware Version :1.35NA.

1. What is the boot image "boot-mz" for? Where should it be placed (i.e. bootflash)? what command do I need to issue in order to use the boot image I want?
2. What is the IOS rommon image for? I thought the rommon image was the boot image but apparently these are two different images. Where should it be placed (i.e. bootflash, sup-bootflash, etc). What command do I use to ensure that I am using this IOS rommon image?
I search for the both files, because I want to configure one ASA with 8.2.1 and the other ASA with a 8.4.x image to see the differences between both versions. But I don`t have a account to download the ASA Image 8.4.x an the ASDM 6.4x to test it.Is there a chance to get those Images without a Account.
