in one of my LMS3.2.1 installations I find that rtr2900 RME4.3 package are gone/not there I can not find it on regular CCO, nor as a device update, via LMS-CS/Cisco repo doesnt show the package eighter ...(i have patched the CS with cwcs33x-win-CSCto46927-1.zip to get the new CCO access and I can installe other packages)How do I get this installed ?

When I will update the devices and I go to Common Services - Software Center Device Update and I mark Resource Manager Essential then I receive this window:
Now I choose the Rtr2900 package (same problem for all six packages) and when I will download it, then after define the destination path for the file I see this window:
Then I have tried to download it manually with the following command: PSUCli.bat -p rme -d -dst c:psu_download -all
The six packages that are showed in the picture above were not downloaded.
I assume that there is an error on Cisco side because the size of the six packages is NA.
Or is there another possibility to download the package for the Rtr2900?
i have been told by my service provider that the 877 adsl router has issues with some of their exchanges and for best compatability i should upgrade to the latest version of firmware.

i have read on the internet that the firmware for the adsl modem is now incoporated within the Cisco IOS. Therefore i will have to upgrade my ios. what i would like to know is what the different release letters mean and can my router run those ios's aslong as it has the required memory.
my current ios is

and im looking to upgrade to
c870-advipservicesk9-mz.150-1.XA5.bin
What is the difference between a T and XA
latest IOS version is from 18Nov11 and with little amount of traffic it keeps cpu usage sky-high until it starts losing packets (I've tried performance fine tuning according to cisco webpages and saw little difference)
Downgrading isn't an option as 15.2.1 version doesn't implement everything I need...

I have Cisco ASA 5510 with CSC-SSM-10. ASA anti-virus service can not update the Base and Plus lisense. No Activation Code required for renewal. I go to "Administration> Product License" in the CSC SSM console and click "Check Status Online" to get the latest expiration date.In the module on the Check Status Online has reported the following error when: Base License status could not be checked because of a license server failure. "Please try again later", "Plus License status could not be checked because of a license server failure. Please try again later". UPDATE manual virus database can be seen in the latest available version, can not be upgraded because the service expired.

I already set the NTP address to the local host IP address.It can be seen at the NTP at the ASDM as well as the command line below :ntp server 192.168.50.6 source dmz.

I am needing to udate the firmware that I currently have on a 2811 router it currently has c2800nm-adventerprisek9-mz.123-14.T6.bin. I ahve looked through the download area on Cisco's page but the only thing I could find required 128MB flash and this device only has 64MB.

I applied patch 5.1.0.44.3 and made an big mistake: I booted the server due to the fact that it was not reachable after one hour after appplying the patch. Now the server shows following message, when I try to apply other patches: Can not process requested software update operation since this ACS Instance currently has a software update inprogress.
My question: Is it possible to stop the upfate process and apply the other updates or is it possible to revert this update to go back to the previous patch level. For information: the appliance shows only the patches 5.1.0.44.1 and 5.1.44.0.2 installed.

Everytime I try to use the Cisco.com device update I receive the error in the attached file.
I'm not sure if this is related to me not configuring the proxy settings since we do not use a proxy server.
I've configured our CCO username and password only. Is there a known issue with using the web GUI to get updates using the cisco.com option?
Our Cisco team does inventory pulls with CNC and i was informed that this uses the hostname field currently the report pulls the IPadress, the discoveries that run on the LMS populates displayname field and puts the IP address in the hostname field. is there anyway to update this via query or process, i have too many devices to manually update this.

This prompted me to buy a netgear USB wireless adapter which gives me internet access but I'm having several issues now.I am unable to synch my internet time with any server, and therefore cannot use windows update which requires time to be synched for whatever reason.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm running into an issue trying to update my NAC from 4.8.3 to 4.9.1. I have also tried to update to 4.9 and got the same error. I keep getting Error: Failed to upload file Content length exceeded (669550974 > 524288000) which indicates to me that the NAC is expecting to see a max file size of 524288000 but the tar.gz that I'm sending is the 669550974. I have not seen anything in the release notes about having to do anything special to get this to upload. Has anyone else run into this issue and got it resolved?

I have this piece at my home and just realized today that there is a new firmware available on the cisco web page. It has made the device more stable, but the most noticeable improvement is in the UI. Previously it was a linksys for business UI that was pretty much exactly like the consumer products. After the upgrade it is now a Cisco small business UI. I think that this will make the resellers take the products more seriously as a small business piece rather than an upgraded residential product.

Can I reapply bug fix CSCto46927 on 4.2.3 or is there another fix?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am using DynDNS in lieu of a static ip. My ISP changed my WAN ip last night as expected however the RV180W did not update the WAN ip, and so the router is now offline. Using a secondary internet connection I have logged into DynDNS.com and checked my hosts file and confirmed the ipa has not updated since March. I changed the update period from 360 to 2 so this never happens again, but I need to now change the WAN ipa in the RV180W to match the new one. I remember a screen that shows the current WAN ip address greyed out under the present one, but I dont recll where to go to get to that. I am at a loss as to where I go in the RV180W to change the WAN ip address.

We need to update the firmware for a small business router WRVS4400N. Unfortunately, I can't even burn the ISO file to CD after downloading it as instructed. I get the following error message: "The selected disk image file Isn't valid." I'm using a Windows 7 Ultimate computer.
I downloaded the proper firmware update for my version V2.0.1.3 router several times, but each time I get the same message.
The main reason we purchased this router for our business for for the extra layer of protection with ProtectLink. It has been over two years now, and we still have not got our ProtectLink service installed because we are unable to install the service until the firmware is updated.
After doing some research online, we found-out that the ISO file needs to be padded to 2 Kb in order to be valid for burning. The ISO firmware file you provide for this update is not according to my calculations. We have no way of converting the file myself and don't know what to do about this situation.
We are extremely taken-back at the fact that I must submit my issue here on a forum rather than address the issue directly to Cisco Support. We are very disappointed with Cisco support as they appear to want to charge additional money just to get an initial shipped-problem remedied. You would think that the company that essential built the internet infrastructure would be more considerate to their customers. We will never purchase another Cisco product given this level of terrible support.
