I need support with the RV215W. It won't recognize a Huawei E398 LTE-Stick (Germany: Telekom Speedstick LTE). According to [URL] the RV215W should support the Speedstick LTE.

I'm trying to setup a Huawei E398 from Swiscom (switzerland operator) and my CISCO RV215W cannot detect him. Is the RV215W compatible with the Huawei E398 USB LTE Modem?

View 4 Replies View RelatedThe RV215W is not responding to the https port, the VNC port 5900 is also failing to respond. VPN still works, I will go in and reboot and it will work again. It works for 1 day and fails to connect again.
Latest Firmware is already install, I don't know what else to do.
I just switched from a Linksys Router to the RV215W, I was able to put custom dns servers for my wan, ie. opendns, but now in cisco, I'm missing this feature.
Does any one know how to set-up a workarround with DHCP from my ISP and access custum dns servers..
When are we gonna have this feature implemented in the WAN secction.
Recently I bought RV215W router and after installing it in my home network; I started experiencing very slow internet connection over wi-fi. Wired connection to this router are working fine. After several hours of trouble shooting, I am able to isolate the slow internet issue to Wirelss N connection. Wireless b/g works fine.
Router is using 1.0.0.16 firmware. I tried to check is there any latest firmware upgrade for this device. Couldn't find any firmware related information in cisco web site.
One another point related to USB WAN; I am not using any USB for 3G connection. USB indicator is keep on blinking.
After connecting ZTE636 USB modem to Cisco RV215W the modem is not recognized, even though it is on the compatible modems list. The stick is from Orange PL. Firmware upgraded to 1.1.0.5.

First off what are the MAJOR differences between the two? (they look the same to me)
Do they both contain PPTP and is it simple to configure? Do i need any kind of special client software? Can i use my iphone and ipad to connect to the vpn server. Is there a minium download/upload speed to have a vpn sever?

trying to add a media storage device (3 TB WD My Book Essentials) to my N600 DB router via USB. I have partitioned the HD 2 TB / 1 TB. I have tried several formatting scheme but the router is still not recognizing the HD. Have refreshed, reset, and done a firmware upgrade to the 600.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Linksys WRT54GS router that is giving my some trouble. I recently got a new PC and moved my old one into my bedroom along with my Xbox 360. So I didn't have to switch my Ethernet cable between my xbox and pc I bought another cable. Much to my dismay this new cable would not work. At first I thought maybe the cable was bad, but when I connect my pc directly into my modem it works fine. This had my come to the conclusion that it was my router. I have two pcs hooked into it that work fine and a laptop that connects to it wirelessly, but if I try to hook my xbox or pc to it using the new cable they just act as if there isn't a cable connected. When I look at my router the light for the ethernet port that the new cable is in will flash on and off. I've hard reset my router and updated the firmware.

View 7 Replies View RelatedMy SRP526W (running the actual firmware 1.01.27) didn't recognize my new Huawei E372 USB dongle (it's a T-Mobile web'n'walk Stick Business II, already installed the newest firmware 11.203.03.10.55).Using a Huawei E172 or a Huawei E353, both USB dongles works well. But they are slow compared to the E372. I'd really like to use the E372 stick because it's super fast with up to 42Mbps download speed.As I could read in the release notes of the SRP526W, the Huawei E372 should be supported since firmware version 1.01.26.Inside the Huawei E372 you can find the printing "Model: E372u-5", maybe this is a different model which is currently not supported by the SRP526W.

I was wondering is it possible to have one router in my room which my desktops plug into - and then the router to ""Bridge" with the one downstairs to give me wireless capability. I believe its called bridging but i have had no hopen as of yet. Huawei HG520b and Huawei HG532 are my two routers. I know this can be done by purchasing a wire - but i cannot afford a 100m cable and i am not particularly interested in purchasing an adapter for my desktops.

Now I am trying to connect these two routers through a cat5 cross-over cable and I wanted to know whether can I disable DHCP on the router which has internet, and enable the DHCP of the router which is connected to the printers, because I have a few systems that shouldn't be connected to the internet.
What I had in mind is if I switch the DHCP OFF on the internet router and turn it ON on the Huawei B683 router, I could add those devices' MAC addresses to the internet gateway router to deny them access to the internet..?

I cannot gain access to internet through Belkin G router, but can through my ISP router. I've tried IP/Config/all, (Nothing). The problem started when I changed something in Firefox (About:Config) attempting to change URL Search engine from Yahoo to Google, and that's when the problems started.Now my (Desktop) Computer doesn't recognize network, and I can no longer gain access to Net w/Belkin G wireless router...however, router will allow temporary access to internet when plugged up anyway (2 Android phones, 2 laptops), but the desktop will not connect.
View 11 Replies View RelatedRecently the home wireless network was upgraded to 802.11n with WPA2-PSK security. There are currently 3 laptops successfully connected and running the internet.
I have a desktop computer that recently had the NIC card upgraded because beforehand no connections were being recognised. Now there are connections being recognised but when I go to connect to the home network (Which has full signal) it begins to connect, it says "Waiting for Network" then after 2 or 3 minutes it just stops, no error message or anything. Ive also tried moving the tower closer to the router but this also does not work, it begins to connect to the network and then stops and says "Unable to connect to wireless network".
Another thing that might be of use, I am unable to access "ipconfig" in the terminal, I type "ipconfig" in run, then the terminal will pop up and close instantly.
My network consists of a main computer connected to Internet via cable and a modem. I also have an xbox 360 connected via the modem's wireless. I am using a netgear wireless adapter for the xbox, I also have another pc in the same room as the xbox, keep in mind the main pc and these others are multiple rooms apart. Now my issue is that the other pc is not recognizing the wireless adapter, and I know the adapter works because I've been using it on the xbox and it works perfectly. Now I went into connect to and it's not showing anything wireless or netgear associated.Also forgot to mention I am using the same adapter for both just unplugging from one and connecting to other.

I have a NME-NAM-120S in a 2811 running the same 5.1.2 code and it recognizes the RTP traffic including call information. Is that because the netflow data is different than the SPAN that the NME is receiving?

The problem occurred today when logging onto windows. Windows tells me that the connection i have to the router is limited. Other devices i have in the house are capable of connecting to the wifi router. When deleting the connection and trying to reconnect to the router, it brings up the message that it is taking longer than expected to establish a connection and then eventually brings up the message "limited connetion"
When trying to connect the laptop to the router via cable, it doesn't even recognise that it is connected and does not establish a connection.
When using the windows connection troubleshoot, it detects a driver problem with both the wifi adapter and the Lan adapater. Therefore i uninstalled and reinstalled both devices but still suffered the same problem.
When clicking the connection i am attempting to connect to, right click status, details.. everything is in blank, it gives no information regarding to the connection.
Signed in to the network place and have an excellent signal. When I go to internet explorer it says that no way. I have a desk top and Vista. I believe I can probably get there simply if I just know how. I am showing that the wireless is up and ready to go. Have gone to all the tools and control desk.

One minute it was connected to the internet, the next it was on and off, I reset it and restarted and it wasn't recognized. I set up a network several years ago. The network was to use a printer between an old desktop with XP and a laptop with Vista. This has worked very well until several weeks ago. I would logon to the network on the laptop through the desktop, type in the password and I was good to go. Suddenly the password does not work. The printer works fine through the desktop. We have had several lightening storms in our area recently.

The drivers are installed and it recognizes one or two networks in my vicinity, but my home network and probably about 10 more are not showing up. I tried re installing the drivers but no luck. I was able to get my network to appear about 50% of the time I searched. I also was able to rarely establish a connection, but the speed was extremely slow and was lost in less than a minute.
