May 29, 2012Currently, I have setup a demo lab with the UC320W + IP Phones and OnPlus Network Agent all connected to a SG300-28P. I have just obtained an SRP547W because I wanted to use the 3G/4G internet connection via the router as my demo lab is an isolated network.Now, I tried to a couple of 3G modem (UMG181) and 4G Telstra modem (MF821) on the SRP547W but none of these work. I had a look at the compatibility tableI guess those modem models are not listed there. However, when I went on say the Optus website to scout for a more compatible model, none of them hit it right on the mark. The matrix says it can support E180 (while Optus has the E188), E353 (while Optus has the E353). I have already wasted my money on getting the earlier stated 3G/4G Modems and I ain't going to take a chance again.

Oh, and are the ports still only 100M and not Gig?I know the 547 would tick both these boxes but we are talking twice the price. dosen't support my huawei E392 4G modem. if possible would you make bin for this. there is not other modems that you can get for 4G connections from the service provider so it would be nice if there was more compatibility than some old ancient modems. starts to feel like this is been sold as 4G router and dosen't actually support that at all.

Aug 17, 2012My SRP526W (running the actual firmware 1.01.27) didn't recognize my new Huawei E372 USB dongle (it's a T-Mobile web'n'walk Stick Business II, already installed the newest firmware 11.203.03.10.55).Using a Huawei E172 or a Huawei E353, both USB dongles works well. But they are slow compared to the E372. I'd really like to use the E372 stick because it's super fast with up to 42Mbps download speed.As I could read in the release notes of the SRP526W, the Huawei E372 should be supported since firmware version 1.01.26.Inside the Huawei E372 you can find the printing "Model: E372u-5", maybe this is a different model which is currently not supported by the SRP526W.

Now I am trying to connect these two routers through a cat5 cross-over cable and I wanted to know whether can I disable DHCP on the router which has internet, and enable the DHCP of the router which is connected to the printers, because I have a few systems that shouldn't be connected to the internet.
What I had in mind is if I switch the DHCP OFF on the internet router and turn it ON on the Huawei B683 router, I could add those devices' MAC addresses to the internet gateway router to deny them access to the internet..?

Feb 27, 2013I am running firmware 1.0.1.9 on an RV180. After recently upgrading to Microsoft Internet Explorer 10, I notice the RV180 administration screens do not display properly. Specifically, the horizontal window pane is set so high (not adjustable) all the information is not fully displayed. If I use a previous version of Internet Explorer I don't have a problem or if I use another browser like Google Chrome I don't have a problem. So it appears the RV180 and Internet Explorer 10 are not fully compatible.
Below is a screenshot using Internet Explorer 10 showing the Status page. You can see the horizontal window cuts off most of the information and there does not seem to be a way to "pull" it down to display more information.
Here is the same Status Dashboard selection via Google Chrome. Unfortunatly I don't have Internet Explorer 9 still installed, but it worked fine.

I have been offered a free Thomson (Technicolor TG582n Pro) router. This will involve reconfiguring the current set up with all the devices currently connected to my network. Not a big deal but will there be any benefit over my existing Belkin set up?
