I have a WS-C3750G-24T-S layer 3 switch and I need to configure independent routes for a specific network, I'm trying to use VRF but it is not working for me. I tried using route-map but it seems the switch doesn't support that, so I'm stuck with VRF, but I think I'm not doing it right. The topology is as follows:
I have a network directly connected to a vlan and I need to forward all the traffic I get on this VLAN using a tunnel to a router. I think the problem is that in order to use the tunnel I need to utilize another VLAN which isn't part of that VRF. I attach the configuration I'm using to better understand what I'm trying to do:
layer-3 switch:
ip vrf TEST rd 1:1 interface Tunnel1 ip vrf forwarding TEST ip address 172.17.0.1 255.255.255.252 tunnel source 10.245.0.9 tunnel destination 10.250.4.31
[Code]....
And this is how my routing table looks on this router:
172.17.0.0/30 is subnetted, 1 subnets C 172.17.0.0 is directly connected, Tunnel4 C 10.250.4.0/24 is directly connected, Vlan404 S 10.245.0.8/29 [1/0] via 10.250.4.1 S* 0.0.0.0/0 [1/0] via 10.1.60.15
i have a Layer3 Switch Cisco WS-c3750G -24T , initially i have a IOS version c3750-Ipbase , recentely i have upgraded my IOS to c3750-Ipservices-M to enable to PBR for my network , i have created all the acl and tried to give the route-map with PBR , the command was initiallying but i am not able to see the applied route-map in my policy route , i have gone through the blog and enabled SDM prefer routing , but no luck .
I use a router RV082 with load balancing. My problem is when I try to access a specific site, I get the error message that my IP address changes and I can not use 2 ip address. I want to specify an ip range to always use the same WAN port.
I would like to know if Catalyst WS-C3750G-48TS-E recognizes and understand Cisco VSS ( Virtual Switching System) . Is there a List available which tells us which Old Catalyst Switches or current switches understand Cisco VSS?
I am in the process of upgrading our stack of 4 switches consist of WS-C3750G-48PS. Upon reading release notes found that there are two versions of release notes 1 day apart, the one 02 Sep 2012 saying that WS-C3750-48PS is not supported in this version. Then in release next day 03 Sep 2012 that note has been removed. Which one is correct. Is it supported with my model of switch or not. Also unable to update boot path in the stack switches, "switch all" is not supported in the current IOS. Any other way to update it. Master switch has new boot path but unable to change in slaves.
We recently connected a RPS 2300 to our switch WS-C3750G-48PS-E with IOS c3750-ipservicesk9-mz.122-53.SE2.bin.However i do not see any RPS details in the"show env" output.I believe i should get the RPS Name and its Serial and the port number in the output, but i am not finding it in the output. I did reload the switch but still couldnot get this udpated.
Currently there are three stacked WS-C3750G-24TS-1U on data centre. I am going to buy a WS-C3560X-48T-L to use 10GbE module. Is it possible stack this switch "WS-C3560X-48T-L" to current switches "WS-C3750G-24TS-1U" ?

I have downloaded c3750-ipservicesk9-mz.150-1.SE2.bin and I want to upgrade iOS to this image.
I have a few questions related to this:
1. Is my switch model compatible with this iOS version?
2. Do you recommend the upgrade? Does it bring some notable features?
3. Can I upgrade for free or do I need to buy some license?
4. I also want to upgrade/add the crypto image, can I add crypto for free or some license is required?
5. I have remote access to my switch via the console cable which plugged into machine1. But machine1 is connected to network via the same switch. I am accessing machine1 via SSH, and then the switch via console cable (minicom on CentOS). Is there an upgrade procedure for this kind of situation that also has some fall back (like reboot in X minutes and load the previous image) if the upgrade goes wrong?
We are facing since one month in our two Cisco WS-C3750G-12S on many interfaces input errors when data transer or ping (ICMP) increase input erros. Not only port 1 but many interface has same issue, i have change new IOS but still same issue, once i have erase startup config but same issue we are facing and finaly i have replace same new switch with the same IOS it's working fine.(c3750-ipservicesk9-mz.122-55.SE4.bin) [code]
I currently have a C3750G connected to a C3560G with default auto-negotiation settings. Ports are up and connected a-100 and a-full. I am trying to change the ports speed to 1G, and have tried all possible combinations of "speed 1000" and "duplex full" setting on both ends to no avail. What should port settings be for 1G speed between the two switches?
Here are the current port settings:C3750G: interface GigabitEthernet1/0/1 switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q
can i stack cisco (ws-c3750G-12s) with (ws-c3750X-24p-poe-s) with (ws-c3750-48p-10/100 poe) i mean even a switch is 10/100 and the other switch is 10/100/1000?
I'm having trouble stacking a new WS-C3750X-24P with existing switches WS-C3750G-24PS ?I can see the license is on the new WS-C3750X-24P:
switch#sho lic Index 1 Feature: ipservices Period left: 8 weeks 4 days License Type: Evaluation License State: Active, Not in Use, EULA not accepted License Priority: None
[code].....
I could put on the c3750e-ipbasek9-mz.122-55.SE1 image, but I may need to get the license sorted still, but not sure if that will work or how to add it if i got one.....
I have two Switches which i need to put in a same stack - WS-C3750E-48TD and WS-C3750G-48TS . Possible to do so and also which IOS to put in both the switches as WS-C3750G-48TS is having lower RAM and flash.Whether can i put following IOS in these switches and connect them in a stack as i have read that IOS -- 15.0.1. SE are compatible with both the switches.
a . c3750e-ipbasek9-mz.150-1.SE.bin in switch - WS-C3750E-48TD
b. c3750-ipbasek9-mz.150-1.SE.bin in switch -- WS-C3750G-48TS
I do have C3750G-12s switch which is not able to boot as of the expected. Every time when I break the stack and try to use console i got a weird output from my console output. we need the stack to be break and use those switch separtally .
I have 8 switch stack consisting of six WS-C3550-48P and two WS-C3750G-16TD running software vesrion 12.2(25) SEB1. When I added new C3750v2-24PS (running image 12.2(50) SE5) in stack so I up-graded the image of existing 8 switches with latest veriosn 12.2(50) SE5. Once I have done with the upgrade then all ports of my stack switches went down after around five minuts. Is it image compatibility issue with existing switches or something else?
Situation: Currently WS-C3750G-48TS-(S or E) switches are on stack. Now these units will soon EOL on Jan. 30, 2013 and Cisco recommends that WS-C3750X-48T-S or WS-C3750X-48T-E will be used.
The question is: Will the new SKU works together in a stack with the old ones? Will there be no changes on the type of stacking cable to be used?
Inter-VLAN applications are slow and same VLAN it is working fine.(i.e.VLAN to VLAN applications and File transfer response was Slow).Switch Model number: WS-C3750G-24TS-S1U
I have a situation. I am running two-switch 3750-stack and it crashed this morning. IOS version the switches is: "flash:c3750-ipservicesk9-mz.150-1.SE.bin"

Got 2 of these switch stacked and there is some changes that we are going to undertake which will require us to utilize the whole 8 or 4 (2 from each switch) SFP ports. Just need some adivce on which particular fiber modules should I procure. Does this switch support 10GB of SFP ?

I have changed the universal IOS on the 3750X to IP base..but they still wont come up as a stack. On the 3750X I don't see any log entry, on 3750G (major version mismatch).
WS-C3750G-24TS-S1U switch stack with high CPU utilization. 3 switches are stacked and using PBR on that. I am attaching the show cpu process as an attachment. The current template is "desktop routing" template. The selected template optimizes the resources in the switch to support this level of features for 8 routed interfaces and 1024 VLANs. I am facing problem with ACE configuration. I want to redirect 443 traffic to my Proxy Server. But I am not able to do this. I want to redirect only subnet 192.168.80.0/24..Then only it is working but I dont have to have this policy to be applied on all the users only one subnet I want to have under HTTPS policy.
how can I apply the policy only on specific subnet so that port 443 traffic can be redirect and rest of all subnets can go direclty to Internet.
Wireless client receives a DHCP address from central DHCP server fine. Unable to route outside of own subnet . Continuous ARP WHO HAS (Default Gateway addr) TELL (client IP) messages being received. WLC running OS 4.2.99.0.
In case customers buy IP transit(there is a BGP session between ISP and customer), they often ask for default route and for example prefixes from local internet-exchanges. What is the advantage to have default route + certain smaller(for example /17, /18 and /24) prefixes?
My setup has two firewalls to the internet, one is for all internal users who want to access the internet and the other is an ASA5510 acting as VPN terminaton to remote workers accessing using Anyconnect. Each of the firewalls has a public interface on the same network (ex. 196.160.100.192/26).We have a server with a public interface, and all traffic (internal and external) has to access via the public ip (again in the same network as above) and there are different profiles and access levels on that server depending if you are accessing from an internal IP or a public IP.Well, when users are connected thrugh the VPN, although they have an internal IP address, as they are accessing the server on the public IP, the ASA sends the packets through its external interface (direct connected route) instead of sending it to the default internal gateway that is a "trusted" entry point on the server.Any way to force the ASA to send that traffic to the internal default gateway instead of sending it to the external (direct connected) interface?
PS: I have no access to the server (appliance under warranty) so I can't make any changes to it...
