in putty, everything is ok. but if i set this lines in a config-file and use them by config net or copy tftp: running-config, then this commands are completely ignored.how to setup VLAN so that this are funktional. i dont need a "interface vlan xx"! in addition manually configured vlan are shown in show vlan command but there are no entries inside a sh running-config output even i user show running-config all.

Now we need to configure new Vlan for finance department this department has more than 200 users. If my server distributes 192.168.200.0 range ip can vlan2 automatically assign ip 200.0 addresses to finance department.All switches running default config no ip address assigned.

May 7, 2013I need to replace an existing ASA 5540 with a new ASA 5525X. I would like to pre-stage and configure the new box with the existing config, migrate license and export certificate files before swapping it with the old one during a change window. The new firewall will run 9.1 on deployment. Now the same 7.2(4) cannot just be copied over to 5525X running the minimum 8.6 version. There is a Web based tool available at [URL] according to Cisco documentation but the page does not load for me (Cisco intranet only tool ?). Is there another tool for automatic conversion ?

Jul 2, 2012At home we have a BT broadband connection. My girl friends work pays for it as she needs to get on to the office servers, this is secure thought a modem box and also a firewall box. This is restricted our personal internet access to only certain sites on her work laptop. I myself work for myself and need to access the internet via my laptop (mac), I'm a web designer so rely on the internet.If I was to buy an addition wireless modem could I unplug the work configured set-up at the wall, plug in the new one and set it up? I don't need to run the two modems at the same time, so could just swap the plugs as and when required.

May 24, 2013we have a new ISE 3315 installation going on, I powered on the Appliance and appliance booted sucessfully, I run the Setup command. however after Setup is completed and appliance got a reload, it is not booting at all , booting seems to be hang up as per the snapshot attached.however Appliance is pingable, . i carried the following tasks as part of troubleshooting.
2: suspecting that Setup was corrupted, i then re-initialzied / re-installed the ISE Completely, then i run the setup command and after self reload, exactly same behaviour.
3: I tried with both Secure CRT & Putty and results are same

How I setup to wait with sync and do it once ATM connection is up and established? Or How to get IOS to leave this line and sync with NTP every 10 min)?

1. While calling remote ip it is ringing and connecting but not displaying any thing on the screen but their side is displaying.
2. When they call our side ip it cannot connecting.
I have connected netgear router then video conference is working fine (with out port forwarding also). If I configured that router between 2 local sites (not on internet line) its working fine where i did not configured any thing just given routing. Configure same situation using internet leased line.
