I have two ASA5505 with a site to site VPN.One of the ASA is connected to the internal network 192.168.150.0.The other one is connected to 192.168.151.0.
I have also configured IPSec Cisco client VPN to the one which is plugged to 192.168.150.0.
I would like to know if it is possible for a client connected with the Cisco VPN to access the network 192.168.151.0 through the site to site VPN.
I´m tring to configure ASA 5505 with VPN Cleint, to access a remote network over a L2L with another ASA 5505, but no sucess. Is there any special feature to this work?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have one user who is unable to Access Remote Network resources when connected to the VPN on his home network. VPN shows connected and he is given a remote IP from the VPN Pool, but he cannot ping any IP on our network. When connected using Sprint Wi-Fi card he is able to connect and access remote network from the same laptop. Maybe there is some network overlap that I am missing.

I have a site to site vpn set up. I want to be able to manage the Cisco ASA router from a computer that connects to this site to site vpn. The problem is when I enter the ip address of the asa into adsm I get this error: Unable to launch device manager from 192.168.14.1:444. I am also unable to ping 192.168.14.1 from any computer that connects to the VPN, but I can ping other devices on the 192.168.14.x network. Also devices on the 192.168.14.x network can access the asa no problems. Here is my config:

There is a Cisco VPN client (running on Windows 7) and an ASA5505. The goals are client could use remote gateway on ASA for Skype and able to access the devices in ASA inside interface.
The Skype works well but I cannot access devices in the interface inside via VPN connection. Following is the config, how to correct NAT or VPN settings?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have an ASA 5505 that is on the perimeter of a hub & spoke vpn network, when I connect to this device using the VPN client I can connect to any device across the VPN infrastructure with the exception of the sub net that the client is connected to, for instance:
VPN client internal network connects to 192.168.113.0 /24 and is issued that ip address 192.168.113.200, the VPN client can be pinged from another device in this network however the client cannot access anything on this sub net, all other sites can be accessed ie. main site 192.168.16.0/24, second site 192.168.110/24 and third site 192.168.112/24. The ACL Manager has a single entry of "Source 192.168.113.0/24 Destination 192.168.0.0/16 and the "Standard ACL 192.168.8.8./16 permit.
Any connect vpn client no internet access.

I configured a Cisco ASA 5505 firewall with VPN. However, I can not access to the web after I connected to the remote IPSec VPN. I also failed to connect to the webs using IP. But I can connect to internal servers in the office without any problems.

I've installed Fortigate 60B and now need to provide access to our guests. Guests must be isolated from office infrastructure. For this configuration I've set up DMZ interface with DHCP server. Client connected to DMZ port gets DHCP configuration but can't go out to the Internet.

I just configured a ASA for Remote VPN. I think that every works fine but I have no access to the Clients into the Local LAN behind the ASA.

After AnyConnect has establised the connection I can ping the inside Interface from the ASA but I can`t Ping the PC behind the inside Interface.

I am configuring remote access vpn on ASA5505.Everything is working fine so far, except when the client got connected, it still used the local DNS server provided by the ISP. How do I force the client to use the DNS server configured on ASA?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a Cisco ASA 5505 which is setup as an EasyVPN client to e remote VPN concentrator.The Cisco ASA has the 50 internal user license with 10 VPN peers.We just upgraded the license from the base 10 internal user to 50 user license but it has not resolved the problem and only 10 internal users still work, the 11th fails. Does each EasyVPN client on the inside network take up 1 of the 10 VPN peer licences? This seems to be the issue from what I can see, just need confirmation.

i have a question about tunneling a software EasyVPN client to a client ASA Network. It looks like this:
EasyVPN Server 192.168.202.0/24 Network extension mode to Client EasyVPN ASA 192.168.1.0/24 This works fine in both directions. But now i want to connect the client ASA network via EasyVPN software client from outside. The user are already able to connect to the ASA Server on its static outside IP obtaining an IP from a 192.168.21.0/24 pool. This works fine. But how am i able to connect to the 192.168.1.0/24 network from this client?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to set-up 3 remote access groups on an ASA5520 running version 8.4(3) software so that remote clients connected via Cisco VPN Client can also access spoke networks which are also connected to the ASA. I've previously set this up on ASAs running v7.2 software without issue but don't seem to be able to do the same here and can't for the life of me figure out what's wrong!
I have set-up the 3 remote access groups:
Group 1 - subnet 192.168.1.48/28Group 2 - subnet 192.168.2.0/25Group 3 - subnet 192.168.3.0/25
My remote access user groups can all connect to the head office subnet (10.0.0.0/8) without issue. But only one of the groups (192.168.1.48/28) appears to be able to access the spoke sites (172.30.10.0/24 and 172.30.20.0/24) that I have set-up. However, I can't see what the difference is between the 3 groups I have configured so can't understand why it works ok for one group and not the others?
When I use the packet tracer, it tells me that the flow is being dropped at the VPN encryption phase but why is that? How can I find out more? Here's the relevant config on my ASA:

-Site A: 192.168.13.0/24
-Site B: 192.168.2.0/24
On both sites we have a ASA5505(Base license) to terminate the tunnel.On Site B we also got a remote access vpn to which we can connect using the vpn client.The lan2lan tunnel works fine and so the remote access vpn.Now i want to connect to Site A using my vpn client connected to Site B. [code] There are no vpn-filters or other special policys in place..If tried to ping from my vpn client to Site A while i was debugging ipsec 255 on site B: the asa matched the l2l-tunnel for traffic sourced from 192.168.25.x to 192.168.13.x but when im doing a show crypto ipsec sa detail there are no packets getting encrypted..so of course no packets reaching my asa on site a.

View 10 Replies View RelatedSanta got a second-hand acer mini-laptop for my daughter this last Christmas and she accidentally pour some coke in it, I took it to the shop and I had to pay to repair it; when I got it back, the first thing is that originally it has Windows 7 and now XP, I thought it was ok, but even though I use my network passkey and everything, it quickly connected to the network showing internet access but when I open IE, it shows a message to diagnose connection problems, I run the repair wizard and nothing, but all the time it is showing that the connection is working, will I need to take it back to the shop or is there something I can do?

The icon is showing that my laptop has detected the connection but has no internet access.Showing in my screen is: Connected to Network. IPV4 no internet access, IPV6 no internet accessI tried using my iPhone to connect via the wireless connection and I could get browse the Internet with it.. hence i'm sure the problem lies with the laptop.

View 11 Replies View RelatedI have three computers at home: 2 desktops and 1 laptop and they all run windows 7. For a week now I haven't been able to connect to the internet from one of the desktops. The initial setup was wireless and worked fine for years. I've tried every advise I could find online: Powered off and on the modem and the router, disabled and enabled the adapter, reseted WINSOCK and TCP/IP, assigned a permanent IP address, did a system restore to the last day the internet worked, turned off windows defender (windows firewall has always been off), turned off Webroot, I bought a new wireless USB adapter which connected to the network but still no internet access and my last resort: I got a really long ethernet cable and connected directly to the wireless router AND then directly to the modem... NOTHING! Still says that I am connected to an unidentified network and that there is not internet access.

The client is able to connect just fine to the network via VPN, but I am unable to gain access to any of the local resources. I know 192.168.1.1 has SSH running and 192.168.1.50 has telnet running but if I try to connect to either using the correct program they just timeout. I am really at a loss on why the vpn connection connects but I can not gain access to any of the resources on the VPN network.
i currently have a netgear wgr614v9 running the most recent firmware update and a tplink nr741nd running the latest dd wrt firmware.the netgear is my main router connected to the modem positioned in the living room attached to this is a wired ps3, wii and various laptops connect wirelessly to this. In my bedroom i have the tplink router is is setup as a client on the netgear router allowing media network drive access to the internet.
