Cisco VPN :: C2921 / Setting ASA-Router VPN No Crypto Command Options

I am trying to set up vpn tunnel between ASA and router C2921 for site-to-site routing. This was described on many sites. However I do not have required option under crypto command.
g1c1router1(config)#crypto ? key Long term key operations pki Public Key components
g1c1router1(config)#crypto
There are no crypto map etc options.
Some people suggested that I need crypto IOS. I have:
boot system flash:c2900-universalk9-mz.SPA.152-4.M3.bin
license udi pid CISCO2921/K9 sn FGL171910C1
Do I have to generate some keys? How do I do it? crypto key generate ?

I have been having some issues connecting my PC to my XBox360 using the wired approach, it seems to be massively temperamental to a point i decided to not connect the XBox via my router and instead put it straight into my spare network port on my PC. The basic jist of mynetwork confirguration is something like this: Internet cable > Virgin Media 256 Modem > Linksys BEFSR41 Router > PC. I had no issues with this setup, but as soon as i wanted to add my XBox into the mix, things got tricky. I plugged the network cable from my Xbox originally into one of the ports on my router and then went through the settings on both my Xbox and router. Again, i had absolutely no confidence in doing this myself since i don't mess with it, but after reading guides i finally got it sorted. Well, partly sorted. I was able to connect to my Xbox Live, however i was unable to connect to my Xbox to my PC (To stream files onto the Xbox). This was what i wanted to do, i didn't really want to use the Live anyway. So i went off to work again. In the end nothing was working, so i opted to connect my Xbox directly into my PC - So it was no longer connected through my router. I could SEE my PC on my Xbox, but i was unable to connect to it to stream anything. I then opted to disconnect my router (For no other reason than to rule it out) - Sure enough, the very second i disconnected the router, i was able to instantly connect to my PC and was streaming straight away. Once i was streaming, i was able to reconnect my router and that was that. But if i turned off my Xbox i would need to also turn off my router the next time i wanted to stream. How can i fix this so i don't have to continually turn off my router, is there a setting somewhere in the options on my router which can allow me to connect to my Xbox? I have been looking around and I can not find the " crypto isakmp policy " command on this Cisco Router 1941. I just wanted to setup a regular IPSEC Lan to Lan tunnel and surprise, the command is not there. Do I have the wrong IOS? I thought that a K9 image would do the trick. [code]

I recently rebuilt the configuration of our Cat6500 multilayer device for use as a user stack. The device is funtioning as it should be, but I am unable to set SSH using the 'crypto key generate rsa' command. The crytop command isn't avaiable at all, which suggests a firmware issue.
I have configured a hostname and Ip domain-name and the image is the only one available.
The show version output is listed below.

I get some EIGRP flapping on my CE router (c2921) 2 sub interface to another two site. The router IOS version "c2900-universalk9-mz.SPA.152-2.T1". I capture the debug log as attached. I know understand some log meaning from the debug.

I have just received a new cisco 2901 and started on its configuration. when I started configuring VPN tunnels, I saw that non of the crypto commands are available.
The router runs on iOS 15.1.From what I read, people refer that the router needs to past a license activation or something like that. When I run show verison - i do see "none" under most of the categories.

I setup site to site VPN between C2921 (site A) and ASA 5510 (site B). I am having problems with SA being deleted:
1: I can alwasy initiate VPN connection from Site B to Site A.
2: after VPN tunnel is up and idle for a while, SA is dropped and I lost VPN connection from Site A to Site B.
3: to get the connection back, I have to ping Site A from Site B
4: when the connection is established, it works fine!

So my router, the "Siemens Gigaset SE567", doesn't seem to want to allow me to access the router page.
Everywhere I've looked online tell me that the IP is http://192.168.1.254/ and default PW "default" and "telus". But no matter how many times I reset the router...going to http://192.168.1.254/ loads nothing.
The router SAYS Gigaset SE567 on it, and looks identical to the one in the picture...so theres no mistaking it for another router.

I am going to get some wyse thin clients up and running on our departments. Each department communicate with the main-office through Cisco C1812 routers.
In order to get functionally DHCP up and running, I need to
A - Configure some Dhcp options on the C1812 routers
B - Perform a DHCP relay from each department to the main-office
Option B will cause some additional issues, so is not preferred.
The question is: Does the Cisco DHCP-client have an option for configuring DHCP options? I need to put in among others, an option 161, a string value pointing to a ftp-server. Can this be done? And if it can, what is the right syntax
I have recently started working here, therefore I am not certain of the IOS-version on the router, as I still not have the logon-information, but I will aqquire this shortly.

I was trying to work with a friend set up his wireless router. He had the Geeksquad come and set it up and I have no idea what they did. A mess of wires. I noticed that I was able to log into the imbeded browser of the modem and the router from the main PC. I didn't think it was possible to log into the modem if it was set up in bridged ethernet mode. His internet is working but I was thinking that he may have problems with double NATing.Basically, I just want to know what options there are for setting up a router to a modem. I'm aware of bridged mode and setting up the router as a switch (not real knowledgable of this one). Seems like DHCP is enabled on both devices.

I'm using the e4200 in a big old house with lots of walls, including rooms separated with brick. Wiring access points would be difficult given the problem of pulling wires. I do have lots of kids and devices connected including DirecTv, iphones, ipads, laptops, and PS3. Is there a range extender? Do I care if an extender only supports 2.4Mhz if I use the same SSID anyway?

I have a hobby network at home, the structure of which follows:*Modem * - active SPI firewall -- Then the E4200 distributes data via wifi to/between the following machines --*Server - providing services such as http, FTP, VPN, Mail, MySQL, OpenDirectory, Plex media server, etc.*Two other workstations that access their user details/settings from open directory on the server.Now the purpose of this network other than providing standard access to Internet services from within the LAN is to provide access to the services maintained on my server to users on my LAN when they leave it/go mobile.Now with my limited knowledge of networking I have been using port forwarding to direct service requests through the firewall, however I have found with the E4200 that I have a limited number of custom port fields to use (about 15) which is extremely limiting when I have as many potential services that my server can provide.I could move the Server to a DMZ but then dosen't that put all my other services that have no need to be exposed at unnecessary risk.Do I need to invest in a separate hardware firewall and put it after the modem and before the router?

I got Fios installed this week. Router is the Actiontec MI424, it sits int he living room. I ran a speed test of the wifi on my laptop in the living room, and the internet speeds were great. Here's my problem. I'm in a 2 br condo, not a huge place maybe like 1200 Sq feet, same floor. Wifi is awesome in the living room, but in the bedroom it hangs. I still have a signal, varying for low to good, but it takes forever to open a web page, to the point where you can't use the internet. Bedroom is just down the hall.I called Verizon. They told me they can only guarantee the wifi signal 10 feet from the router, after that no promises. My frustration is that with my previous provider, which was giving me a slower internet connection, my wifi in the bedroom was fine and the router was in the exact same spot. Of course I used my own router? I know there are instructions on connecting my old router to the fios one and using my old router for wifi.

I own an AG214 ADSL2 router that I use for my desktop PC. I now however also have a WRT54GL for wireless connection. I connected the WRT54GL to my AG214 via ethernet. Everything works fine, I have wifi and I can use it to connect to the internet. However when I go to my router (192.168.x.x) I can't seem to be able to find a wireless tab to configure my wifi settings. The network right now is unsecure and has a default name (linksys). How do I access my wireless settings? When I access my router it does go to the AG214, do I need to access the WRT54GL? If so, how do I do that?

I have this situation, I need to establish an IP sec communication to another site but I need to identify all my packets sent, as a different networks as my local one. for example: my local network is 10.5.0.0/24 and I need to sent packets as 10.6.0.0/24. I suppose that I need to do Nat with this IPs. But in this router Nat is already applied to outbound traffic to Internet. How can I apply this NAT to crypto map only?
My router is a Cisco 877 with 12.4 IOS an this is the relevant configuration, crypto map vpn it´s used to sent traffic to second site.

I have to connect one of our it labors with some ec2 instances in amazon vpc. I downloaded a configuration file from amazon which starts with the command

My router tells me that he does not know crypto isakmp.
I searched on the internet and found that i have to install a specific license, but unfortunately i cannot find which license i have to install.
The show license command show following licenses
AdvIpServices active
AdvSecurity active
advsecurity_npe, ios-ips-update, waas_Express no state displayed
ssl_vpn active but eula not accepted
I found that i can accept the eula license with license boot module c880-data technology-package SSL_VPN command
But this command is also not available on my device. getting the crypto isakmp command working?

I have applied a crypto map (fo ipsec vpn) on the dialer interface (for PPoE connection) in Cisco 2800; every time when the router restarts the crypto map is removed from the dialer interface even though i save the configuration every tim when i apply the map on the interface. Is there any way that the crypto map remains there on the dialer interface after the restart of router.

New to the forum and not much Cisco IOS experience let alone on the security side of things. I know how to navigate the IOS and can do basic switching and routing just fine. My company currently has a DMVPN setup w/ about 10 tunnels going back to the hub. We have 4 more sites they want me to setup and I keep getting stuck at the crypto maps. I have been reading about VPN's, DMVPN's , etc. for days now but can't find any examples of how we are configured. The priority of our crypto maps start at 65536 and go up. Default max is 65335 from what I have read, and I cannot assign a priority that high statically. [code]

I ahve a requirement to configure static crypto for 1800 site and I need to configure on two sepaarte interfacs at spoke site which means I need to configure 1800*2 = 3600 peers at central site. The challenge I have is due to load balancing , the traffic dynamic crypto can not be used since traffic may be initiated from Dc on other link which may get dropped incase not encrypted.

I have a cisco 887 connected as temp measure to a 3g device via a fast0 port. all works fine. VPN comes up...but the moment i apply the crypto map to the vlan.. DHCP stops allocating ip address. I have remove irrelevant config ( dialer, atm etc as they not been used)
