Cisco WAN :: 886VA - Counting CRC Errors Via EEM For DSL Modem

I'm using a Cisco 886VA connected to an ADSL2+ line. Typing "sh control vdsl 0 | inc Err" shows me the CRC errors on the line, but the CRC error counter displayed with "sh int atm 0" is empty. Also with 876 typing "sh dsl int atm 0" I can see growing error rate but "sh int atm 0" is empty.
I want to write an applet to reset the interface/controller if threshold is too high but the event interface detector won't see any errors.
I want to dumb down a Cisco 886va to act as a pure vdsl bridge modem with a local ip to be able to do some admin work on the router. To some extent my config works, but i think the default vlan 1 kills my internet. When i connect the 88va the vlan bridge 7 and 8 goes up, the router behind connects via pppoe on vlan 7 but no traffic is going through. vlan 8 gets a dhcp lease for iptv and if i don´t switch the receiver on and off the traffic flows and the tv works. I am also able to connect to the local ip to access the web interface. [code]
I have frequent intermittent 105 errors DNS Server not found. I run a Laptop, Win7 home edition 64 bit, Telstra TEHS_0c280c 3G usb Modem, I live 600 metres from Repeater and have consistant full WiFi strength. I have had this error using both Google Chrome and Internet Explorer.
When this error locks me out of the net, it is very frustrating as I have to reboot the laptop and reset the WiFi modem several times before the problem comes good. Sometimes this can take up to a full day as I can get the Net back and then have the 105 error again, and other days I will not see it at all.
Remedies I have already tried to no avail :- CCleaner to both remove cookies and clean and repair registry probs. And Defragging.
I have a AIR-AP1121G-A-K9 running c1100-k9w7-tar.123-7.JA2 (Autonomous)We have monitoring setup with Orion NPM and we consistently see output errors, Transmit discards and big buffer errors The users at the site have not reporting any issues but was wondering how to prevent these or are these normal?What causes the output errors on Wireless Radio ? How to troubleshoot further ?

i used a Cisco 886VA with Annex-B service in Germany. Now the provider has changed the DSLAM port to Annex-J but the router does not get any connection anymore.
As per Cisco homepage [URL] the router should support Annex-J in table 7:
Cisco 886VA: Optimized for Annex B; also compatible with Annex J
How to bring up the router with Annex-J service?? Is there something special i have to configure? Do i have to buy Cisco 886VA-J???

I've bought a new Cisco 886VA and want to set the noise-margin value. With my old 876 I had to set "service internal" and then I was able to configure the value unter ATM inter config.
But with the new 886VA I can't find a way to configure it.
I will install in the next days a 886VA router (VDSL over ISDN using PPoE). Since I have no possibility to verify the VDSL config, this is what i prepared. Is this config OK (only VDSL part) ?

I'm trying to configure multicast between 2 VLANs on a Cisco 886VA running IOS 15.2 (3) T1 (advanced security). While I can set the global "ip multicast-routing" I cannot "ip pim sparse-mode" on my interfaces - ip pim is actually unknown and also doesn't appear in the interface's ip subcommand list when using "?".
The feature navigator says pim is supported on my platform and IOS version.
My config looks like this:

Is there a way to find in a remote branch the adsl line number in a cisco router 886VA.
When giving show controllers vdsl 0
we can see the upload/download speed but there is no information about the line number. We need this information in order to troubleshoot adsl line problems with our ISP's in remote branch offices.

We all know you can't manage data traffic on the internet since your not in control of both sides of the link. So only queuing would not be a good practice IMHO. I was thinking on just rate-limit or police data-traffic so Voice always has bandwidth available when needed. I've did tried to rate-limit on the ATM0 interface, but no luck. Voice was still very bad.
My question is: where to rate-limit the data traffic? On the VLAN interface, the ATM interface, DIALER interface?
I am configuring ISDN Interface on 2 Cisco 886VA Version 15.2(3)T . I am unable to set ppp multilink on the BRI0 interface and on the dialer interface. It's like the command doen't exist anymore.How can I fix that so that i can have 128 K bandwidth between ma 2 sites ?.

I've got router as vpn-concentrator which receives vpn site-to-site connections from 10 branches with cisco 881 and cisco 1941.I started cacti monitoring and found out that there are too many errors on interfaces.URL.
I have a issue where after configuring aaa and rebooting, logging into the console port seems to be auto trying something before it finally times out and let's the user try. I have installed WCS 7.0 now i have installed Navigator on WCS server.Installation is completed.but when I check the status of WCS, it says "healthmonitor running with errors"any one knows what could be the problem and how much will that effect on WCS performance?
No date in the TOP-N Interface Errors portlet showing in LMS 4.1, but data for TOP-N Interface Utilization is displayed like expected. The Interface Errors poller show active(without errors) with same Instances as Interface Utilization.
I am looking at the interface stats of port Fa1/0/2 and see something strange. Ouput drops are 42Billion in 16mins, then 21249 few seconds later, then followed by 42Billion drops again, then 21444...and so forth..I keep getting an entirely different output drops reading everytime i refresh within seconds of each refresh!

I got many certificates errors. When ISE Server tried to retrieve CRL: CRL verification failed - possibly signed by wrong or unknown CA,When client tried to connect using EAP-TLS: X509 decrypt error - certificate signature failure.
I use an 1841 router as an internet facing firewall with a 10MB MetroE connection. Lately users started reporting slow internet download speeds and web pages timing out. Bandwidth reports do not show the link as being saturated so I looked at the interfaces on the 1841. The interface connected to the provider shows OK as far as errors but the LAN side of the router shows steadily increasing input errors. It doesn't show any other errors, no CRC, frame, runts, giants or overruns, just generic input errors. What type of errors are those? Nothing is being logged on the console.
I moved the connection to another switch ports and the errors continue. I switched it down to 10MB and also changed the switch and the errors slow down but don't stop. Interestingly, the switch side never shows any errors. What can I do here? I guess it can be a bad interface but that is such a rare thing that I am hesitant to replace the router.

cisco 878 configured to accept client vpn requests. From client prospective people get error 412 and they can't connect. Not sure what s wrong, following configuration and debug isakmp. Autentication is through a radius server.
i just noticed that im getting some alloc memory errors with a flexwan card i have on a cisco 6513 on slot 5/1, however i can't seem to figure out how to get more information on this and if the issue is related to the flexwan module or the DS3 card itself. Not really sure how to view memory stats/errors for a particular flexwan card on the 6500 platform. The 6500 has been up for a long time and rebooting it might work but i wanted to know what should be done before i reboot the 6500.
I am having this issue with only one rack in the lab. The three routers (2911 , 1941, 2901) connect together through Smart Serial cables going to WIC-2T cards. In the configuration both serial connections going to the 1941 have the DCE.
When going to configure serial 0/0/1 I am allowed to apply a clockrate to it, however, I am kicked back an error saying that a clock rate can only be configured on DCE interface. They are both without a doubt the DCE end connecting to the WIC-2T interfaces. What could possibly cause this problem. Would SCTE or something with the auto clock-rates on the router create this problem.
I have deployed 7 appliances 5.2.0.26.4 CSACS-1121-K9 whose 6 are performing AAA authentications while the last one is is the primary and is the master for configuration and log collector.
Since this morning, I cannot access anymore the view where I can see all Radius authentication for today. [code] Whenever I am browsing online, every once in a while the internet just cuts out. It still says I am connected to my wifi network, but there is "limited or no connectivity." Whenever it happens, everything on the network loses its internet at the same time. In the household, there is one PC (mine), one Mac (my wife's), one iPod touch, and 2 iPhones that all connect to the wifi. The vast majority of the time, when this problem occurs, simply unplugging the router and then plugging it back in fixes the issue.Sometimes however things are different. Especially lately, I sometimes get an "IP conflict" error message. It says another device on the network is using the same IP address. Sometimes with this error simply unplugging and replugging in the router works. Sometimes the router has to be reset twice before things start working again with this error. The error doesn't happen every time the disconnect occurs, but it seems to be getting more frequent lately.Sometimes the disconnect happens when I am playing an online game that requires a constant connection to the internet. Sometimes this goes as usual, where a single router reset fixes the problem. However, sometimes this situation gets more complicated. One game in particular (League of Legends, if it matters) has this problem all of the time. When the internet disconnects while this game is playing, I do not get the "limited or no internet" warning. Instead, the computer seems to think that it is connected, and that the internet is working.
During this scenario, resetting the router once is never enough. After resetting once, the wifi reconnects and now it realizes something is wrong. After the first reset, the computer seems to "realize" something is wrong after all, and I am connected to the network but this time with the "limited or no internet" warning. A second router reset after this usually fixes the problem.Last night the worst disconnect happened yet. It was in the middle of a game, and the internet cut out, with no warning on the network. After one router reset, the wifi network reconnected immediately with an "IP address conflict" error, and then I was connected with "limited or no internet" on the network. I did the second router reset as usually required, but nothing happened. After a second and a third reset, there was still a permanent "limited or no internet" warning.I tried hardlining in directly to the modem and there was still no internet. Running the network diagnostic on my laptop fixed it however and I was connected to the internet. However, wifi still would not work, even after trying the diagnostic again. Running the diagnostic came up with an error that the DNS server was not responding and so nothing could be done.This time I reset everything. Unplugged both the router and the modem and left them unplugged for 30 minutes. When I turned everything else on again, same issue. Connected to the wifi network, but "limited or no internet." I unplugged everything again, left them overnight, and this morning after plugging everything back in the internet was back.A few final points I think might be relevant:
1) When checking the system event logs, it's usually a DNS error that I get (see event logs, 1st attachment). 2) This disconnect error seems to be more prevalent when more devices are on the network. As I said, they have gotten more frequent lately, especially the IP conflict warnings, since the 2 iPhones were added a few weeks ago. 5 months ago when it was only my PC on the network, these issues were practically non-existent. 3) It's a Belkin wireless g-plus router. Model # F5D7231-4 version 1213. It is an older router. 4) This has been happening for almost a year, but just recently gotten so bad I have to get this fixed, especially after last nights that could not be reset no matter what. 5) I'm not sure the disconnects have ever happened why the PC is not connected. That may not be relevant however, because my PC is almost always on since I work from home, while the iPhones, iPod touch, and my wife's Mac are only connected periodically. 6) This error has occurred while my PC is the only device connected to the wifi network, but it seems much less frequent. 7) The time the error seems most likely to occur is when another device connects to the network, such as when my wife first gets home from work. This is not exclusive however, and the DC's can happen at any time.

I working with two PowerEdge R515 systems and for some reason I keep getting strange power errors on the front LCD where it turns orange. It started with one about an on-board regulator failure and this morning when I came in both machines were powered down with a different LCD error, something about the Fault-safe voltage being out of range? They both say to contact support.
I got these error logs this morning. All the power readings show as being ok in the iDRAC page and in ESXi readings.
