im unable to create pri-group under T1 controllers in 2651xm , I have 3 T1 VWIC controller cards [dual port], tried using differnt IOS [advance enterprise/IPVoice/SPservices], i can onyl see channel-group unter the controllers.
network-clock-particiapte slot 1
network-clock-participate wic 0
i havent added "isdn switch type", does addign these command enables the Pri-group, also wheni do sh inv, i see 3 pvdms, but no serail number,

Last time, i´ve implemented a Remote Access VPN to my network with ASA 5510 I´ve allowed to my VPN an acces to all my Internal LAn But i want to configure a group of vpn in the CLI for have different group of user which can access to different server or different network on my LAN.
Example : informatique group------access to 10.70.5.X Network
Consultor group -------- access to 10.70.10.X Network

I recently add a second CT5508 to the network, but when I tried to add the first 5508 to the mobilty group I received a message like this:
"error in creating member"
I've tried different mobility names, via GUI, via CLI and always the same error.
I've verified twice or more than twice connectivity issues or any error on the entering the MAC and IP of the controllers, everything is fine.
I'm using version 7.0.116.0

A year or so ago, when Verizon was my ISP, I ran a Minecraft server with a Hamachi VPN. I had looked into forwarding ports at the time, but decided to go the VPN route because I wasn't completely sure how to assign a static IP to a computer on the network. I had absolutely no issues setting up the VPN or hosting a server on the network.Recently I decided to give port forwarding a go again. I successfully assigned the static IP and put the port number into my router's port forwarding settings, but the port was still closed. I tried using online port checker tools and having friends try to log into the Minecraft server. No luck.After reading multiple port forwarding tutorials to make sure I had everything correct and double- and triple-checking all my settings, I began to suspect that something else was causing the problem. I have an older router set up as a repeater on the network so my family can connect to the Wifi network from anywhere in our house. Thinking maybe the repeater or even the main router itself was to blame, I decided to try another router. After disconnecting the current routers and setting up a spare router I had, I tried everything again. Still no luck.
I tried opening different ports unsuccessfully. No port I tried opening would work. I decided to give in and just set up Hamachi again, since that had worked flawlessly before. However, after setting up a Hamachi VPN, I realized people could join the "room," so to speak, but could not connect to the VPN itself. Even hosting a Minecraft server over Hamachi wasn't working this time.Assuming it was just an issue with Hamachi, I tried another VPN software. I got the same error - people could log in, but not connect to the VPN. Thinking back to the port checker telling me port 80 was closed, I pretty well gave up.I've walked one friend through setting up a VPN the exact same way I did, and it worked on the first try. I walked another friend through assigning a static IP and forwarding ports. I don't know what's different about my network that won't allow either of these things. I've searched my router's configuration for any setting that would override port forwarding or block a VPN, but I can't find anything.

I am not able to recognize adhoc(wireless) connections when I am using ethernet(LAN) connection. Without LAN I am able to recognize the adhoc(wireless) connections and able to access them also.I am using HP laptop model 6530s with Windows7 ultimate and I have installed the drivers provided in the HP portal.

The Nexus 5548 is running 5.1.3.N2.1a and has the L3 daughter card (N55-D160L3)I have the EIGRP feature enabled. By the way, when doing a 'sh feature' four EIGRP features show up like this: [code] To create the L3 SVI, I go into config mode and attempt to type 'interface vlan 10'. but this doesn't work. These are the only options under the keyword 'interface':
- ethernet
- loopback
- mgmt
- port-channel
I must be missing something simple but can't seem to see what that is. What do I need to do in order to create an L3 SVI on this 5548?

Unfortunately, it does not appear as if the SRP500 series will allow you to create an ipsec policy where the local or remote traffic selection is 0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0. It wants a specific network. I have a scenario where I want to send all traffic over the vpn tunnel.
Is there a workaround to this or a special way to input "ANY" as the remote network?

i m working in a domain environment . for example my domain name is testdomain.com. i create a shared folder on it and give everyone a read control over it. then i create a folder in that shared folder with name of test. i also create a user with name test. i give full control to test user over test folder. now when i access the test folder from network with username test. i can read that folder but when i create the file or folder in the test folder it will show the following error..."unable to create a folder"new folder" access is denied.

I am trying to connect my wireless router into the wired ethernet so that i can create a private wireless network for our room. The thing is, my school realizes what you are trying to do and your browser only displays "you are attempting to access (college.edu) network on an unauthorized wireless network. My friend has made it work by turning off the dhcp with his airport extreme and setting it to create new network instead of extend, but after I turn off dhcp I dont know what i should put in for a static ip/ dns/ what to do at all. I can look at all the connections with ipconfig/all , I just don't know the magic things to put in after turning off dhcp to make this work. I have a netgear wireless wndr 3400 n600 router.

Im able to create a gateway tunnel with two rv042 routers in different locations ( i can see the tunnel connected in the router) but the quick vpn utility is not working , i also tried to use the pptp as server as an alternative( im able to connect using windows connection to the pptp server but whenever I browse any of the four ip's allowed for the pptp server \10.0.0.200-204 it takes me to the documents of the local computer....I attached the configuration for one of the routers it is the same as the other end , just the information is flipped.

I try to map LDAP Group to ASA Group policy following documentation:

This is a config for ASA 8.0. I would have expected it to work on 8.4 as well but I do run into problems. The mapping as shown in LDAP Debug and ASA Log will actually happen but it is overwritten by the "GPnoAccess" Group Policy configured locally in the Tunnel Group. From earlier works with RADIUS I would have expected the user specific Attribute to be "stronger"?
ASA Log:
AAA retrieved user specific group policy (correct Policy) for user = XXX
AAA retrieved default group policy (GPnoAccess) for user = XXX

We find ourselves in a difficult situation with the Cisco VPN Client version 5.0.07.0290 where it keeps giving us an
"Error 42: Unable to create certificate enrollment request"
When we attempt to use the Online enrollment method to create and enroll a new certificate. There is no additional information in the VPN client logs where we have set 3-High for all logs. In addition, Wire shark does not show any packets sent from the machine running the client to the Cisco 3825 router which runs the Cisco CA.
To create and enroll a certificate we do the following:
1. Click on the Enroll button to show the Certificate Enrollment dialog
2. Select Online
3. Select <New> for Certificate Authority
4. Enter http://192.168.120.1 as CA URL (note, 192.168.120.1 is the IP of the Cisco 3825)
5. Click Next to display the dialog where we can enter certificate details
6. Enter details in all fields except IP Address and Domain
7. Click Enroll which shows a dialog with the Error 42 ... message in it.
If we attempt to create a request by using the File method, all works fine, that is, the client creates a file with the enrollment request. The fact that the client does not send any messages to the Cisco CA leads us to believe that we have a problem on the client machine. However, the client does not write any information in the logs, so it is a bit hard to fix the problem. I can provide additional configuration information if required for both the client and the Cisco CA. Note that we have not modified any client configuration. Basically, we installed the client on a Windows 7 64bit machine and attempted the steps listed above.

if I do #sh arp in the terminal with this router I see a rogue entry thus:
Internet 192.168.0.4 0 Incomplete ARPA
My whole LAN operates on 172.16.x.x/16, there are no 192.168.x.x devices connected. In the past I've had 192.x.x.x devices running but for a long time and the router has been restarted since then. I've tried several clear commands in the terminal but this entry is stuck there and I've also seen it in a wireshark scroll on a pc when monitoring the routers' adsl traffic - it shows up an an SNMP entry and I do use SNMP on my router, but that data goes to a 172.16.x.x. machine. How can I clean this entry out?

We have a Cisco 2651XM at the edge of our network, which routes our public IP block. This sits on a 100 Mbit/s ethernet pipe (full duplex) up in the datacenter. We are also running 100mb full duplex on our our side of the network. We have several public servers behind the router.
We have recently set-up a new Apple OS X Lion Server to serve a few websites. However, when downloading some files from the server the from a remote location, I noticed I can only get a maximum of 15 Mbit/s out of the connection.
When downloading a large file over HTTP (Apache) from this OS X Lion server from another server on the same internal network (behind the router), we get a full 100 Mbit/s transfer speed.
However, when we download the same file from anywhere on the internet (external side of the router), we can only manage to get 15 Mbit/s out of the transfer.
However, we also have other Linux & Windows servers that we can achieve a full 50 Mbit/s (our office connection speed) externally under the same network conditions.
So it also appears it's only for a single connection - not a limitation for the whole server. If I open two HTTP connections, I can get say 15 Mbit/s out of each transfer - totalling 30 Mbit/s... if that makes sense.
Update: I also notice slower ping latency when pinging from outside the network. Most of the servers reply in 15ms while the new OS X server usually takes over 40ms on average.

I have a 4510R-E chassis with SUP7-E running IOS XE version 3.01.01.SG. I am unable to create a port-channel and apply auto-qos for VOIP.If I configure auto-qos on the physical interfaces, I get this message when I try adding them to the port channel:
"The attached policymap is not suitable for member either due to non-queuing actions or due to type of classmap filters."
Auto-qos is not an available command in the port-channel interface configuration, but if I try adding the service policies that were created by auto-qos to the port channel manually, it lets me apply the input policy but on the output policy I get this message:
"A service-policy with queuing actions can be attached in output direction only on physical ports."
With the input policy applied to the port-channel interface, I tried addign the output policy to the physical ports and I got this message:
"A service-policy with non-queuing actions should be attached to the port-channel associated with this physical port."
Is there a way to get the auot-qos policies applied to the port-channel properly?

cisco 2561xm router with WIC1-adsl card and NM-16ESW switchIOS: c2600-ipbasek9-mz.124-23.bin ,I recently had to temporarily disconnect my above router for a few days and replace it with a cheap plastic home router and was embarrased to discover my adsl broadband speed shot up 45% with the cheap router. With the cisco 2651XM I always got a max download of 400kb/sec but with the cheap router I was getting 580kb/sec. Clearly something is wrong with my cisco config, I put this down to the mtu setting, which in the cheap router wasn't shown but set to auto. I've tried different mtu settings in the cisco router (including 'no mtu' but never get more than 400Kb/sec.My isp indicates optimum mtu is 1500 but that doesn't produce any speed increase.What can I do here to get the cisco router working to maximum speed?

I use the following config to export traffic from the adsl card to a fasterthernet port so I can look at the adsl traffic in wireshark on a pc:router(config)#ip traffic-export profile my_rite router(conf-rite)#int FastEthernet 0/0 router(conf-rite)#bidirectional router(conf-rite)#mac-address abcd.efgh.ijkl (mac address of PC) router(conf-rite)#exit router(config)#int dialer0 router(config-if)#ip traffic-export apply my_rite this config works and I can see stuff going on in wireshark but it's only one way. This config only shows traffic going out from my adsl card, but no incoming. There is defintely traffic going both ways because everything about my adsl connection is working perfectly. I've tried using a different fastethernet port, even tried exporting to a different pc but all I see is outgoing ie: source is my public ip address but never as destination . I have bidirectional in the config but it still only shows outgoing. I even tried a different IOS (c2600-adventerprisek9-mz.124-15.T8.bin) but still it doesn't show incoming traffic. Could it be my ISP in some way hiding incoming traffic from view?

I'm having troubele with audio on a sip line and I read here (bottom of page) url...that turning off RDP packet solved the problem. our WAN is connected via L2WAN and using EIGRP to connect the sites. Currently there are 35 EIGRP neighbors over L2WAN and we are to install 15 more sites and will be connected to the same L2WAN. Some sites are still using Cisco 2651XM and we would like to know if it can still handle another 15 EIGRP neighbors. Some sites are 2800 and 2900 routers. And is there any other things to consider for EIGRP over L2WAN?

I 'm trying to set up a home lab with a couple of 28XX and 2651XM series routers.I would like to simulate a frame-relay connection between HQ, Branch1 and Branch2 . I have a cisco 2651xm router here at home, and at another remote location I have a cisco 1760 router, both are connected to the internet via adsl (WIC1-ADSL card).The problem is that from home I can't connect to the snmp-service on the 1760 router. I'm using a PC that's on the LAN of the 2651XM router, the blockage is in the 2651XM router, because if I swap it for a cheap plastic domestic router I can get snmp data from the 1760 router, and this is without any port forwarding in the domestic router. What config do I need on the 2651XM router so it will pass this traffic?

Is there a way to lock down this hub so that only whitelisted machines will be allowed to connect to its ports? ie: by mac address or some other type of permission method? I have setup WCS logins to be managed by ACS 4.2 . I was looking over the docs and I appear to be missing something because I can't find any documentation on doing the same to the controllers. I did successfully lock myself out of the WiSM in the lab during some testing. I had to pull the plug on the lab ACS to allow local login.
