access point and the limitation on the users connected to the SSID using a wireless lan controller. From the installation guide I see an incredible thing:
Supported User Count Only fifteen users are allowed to connect on the WLAN Controller WLANs provided on the 600 series at any one time. A sixteenth user cannot authenticate until one of the first clients de-authenticates or a timeout occurred on the controller. Note: This number is cumulative across the controller WLANs on the 600 series. For example, if two controller WLANs are configured and there are fifteen users on one of the WLANs, no users will be able to join the other WLAN on the 600 series at that time. This limit does not apply to the local private WLANs that the end user configures on the 600 series designed for personal use and clients connected on these private WLANs or on the wired ports do not affect these limits.
Is it possible a terrible limitation like this ?

I wanted to know if anyone can say with certainty how many clients can stay connected 'Aironet 1140 series. I state that I should connect WiFi in about 350 clients.

I have very little practical knowledge of routers, switches and AP's. I recently got a very old Cisco Aironet 1100 series AP which was working fine in one network. I reset it and tried configuring it in new network (uses DHCP to assign public IP) for school use. But not able to access internet.

how to setup the Aironet 1602 (AIR-SAP1602I-E-K9) I have tried accessing it by various IPs like 10.0.0.1 or 192.168.1.254 but none of them work also when I monitor the connection using Wireshark I can't find out what its IP is.

My wireless users are loosing the internet(http and https) connection many times per day. I just check the ports configuration in the switch, but The problem persist. The device is a Cisco Aironet 1130 AG.

I have this version Ap "c1200-rcvk9w8-tar.124-21a.JA2" and a WLC 5500. When i connect the ap to the network i can ping from ap to wlc and the wlc to ap, but the proccess of lwapp messages give errors on the Ap when the Ap try to download the image from wlc and could not join the wlc. why this could be? this is the info of the wireless lan controller.

I'm new to the Cisco Aironet Access Point. I got a new STANDALONE Aironet 1260 series access point device. The part # AIR-AP1262N-A-K9. The shipping package did not come with any guide, CD, and power adapter. I searched the Cisco sites, but could not find appropriate manuals. I did find a getting started guide but not for standalone AP, it's for Controller-based AP. Question - where can I find manuals / guides to set up and configure my new standalone Cisco Aironet Access Point 1260?

I purchased the AP wrongly, instead of getting the "Standalone/Autonomous" (AIR-SAP2602E) version but I purchased the controller-based version (AIR-CAP2602E); my question is can I use "ap3g2-k9w7-tar.152-2.JB.tar" too flash it to a "Standalone/Autonomous" version?

We have been having issues with random packet drops and or some sort of radio lockup which happens a few times a day. I have a test AP setup with a few clients only a few feet away and I see this combination of messages. Should I be seeing these clients drop off and then reconnect immediately? Granted these test clients are not passing much data but my assumption is that they would not become deauthenticated because of lack of activity? This setup is using a radius server for authentication. I tested it before with just WPA2 PSK and only had a few disconnected over a number of days, compared with many a day with the Radius.

I just installed 2 new units and neither will connect to a new HP gigabit switch - no link light, other devices can connect to the switch OK. Their gigabit ethernet settings are set to auto for duplex and speed. I also tried forcing one of them to full duplex and 1000 Mbps which didn't work either. They're both powered by POE injectors. If I connect them to a 10/100 switch they work fine.

I have two Cisco Aironets 1401 connected to a Cisco Catalyst 3560 Switch. When users log onto the Wifi the APs authenticate with a Freeradius that then authenticates with LDAP.
Recently users have been getting kicked off of the network but I'm not sure why.If so how do I set these APs to roam with my setupd?For all I know there could be an issue with the switch I'm just not sure where to start when it comes to troubleshooting this issue.

I have a Cisco Aironet 1200 Series Access Point. It takes long time to boot up.

Customer wants to place a single 1552E to cover a particular area in his campus, and it will be placed on a tower, and the question is concerning the height. I can not find any particular height limitation such as 5 meters, 10 meters, etc. I understand this will influence the sign propagation as well as throughtput to the users, but can not find a matrix or a best practice guide for that.

i used my 610N v2 for 2 years and recently i upgraded my network from 100mb to fiber 500mb , however, if i directly plug the lan cable to my computer , i can get full speed , but with 610N, the speed is limited to 130 for both upload and download .i had already upgrade my firmware and did factory reset, none of them work. Is it the limitation of the router ?

We have a customer who is evaluating a Cisco Vs. Motorla wirless solution. He says that a Motorola AP can only work in standalone mode for 48 hrs. after it lost communication to the controller. Is there any limitation like this with a 2500 controller and 1140 series access points solution?. Is there any reference to show?

if Linksys will be increasing the size limitation of the E4200 USB storage devices? Will the next firmware allow larger drive sizes? I only bought the thing to share via the router my digital content that is stored on an 8TB external device. What is the perpose to the limit in the first place? Does the limitation on ASR 1000 series RP1 with regard to maximum number of match statements per class-map?. I have more than 30 match statements under my class-maps but when I apply the service policy on the interface, I get the error "cannot configure more than 16 matching statements per class-map for the interface”.I am running 3.1.0 S on an RP1. My Draytek 2710 just dies after 2 years so I was looking for something a little more reliable and noticed the spec of the SRP527W-U.I take it with only one antenna and reading a couple of past discussions, the wireless will only manage n-lite as some people call it i.e. 150Mbps, and not the full 300? Oh, and are the ports still only 100M and not Gig?I know the 547 would tick both these boxes but we are talking twice the price. How does the quality and logevity of the SRP500 series compare to the RV series (which would need an adsl modem) or the Linksys boxes?
