I have a DIR-615 router that I can not see the characters that you have to type just a read X on login screen on any computer running IE9 even the emulator on the dlink site shows this problem.

Once the computer turned on i want the option of which login for the current computer to use, it can login it current computer or the mutiples computer with their content/data all inside. So more like an computer linked. Example, it can only to A or B, A is the current computer data, while B have all the data of the different computer monitor datas, and if i login B it will show that current computer info. And same goes to the B computer, i can login to A or B on the B computer. What makes this very good is that, both the computer logins are sort of connected, for example if im on actual computer A, but logined to computer B and downloaded/changed some files/data on the B login, once i login on computer B to login B, the changes will apply even tho the changes are done in computer A.

Whenever i tried to log on to the computer it is giving me an error message that "The System could not log on the "Domain Name" either the connection is disconnected or the domain is no longer available" somting like that. When i remove the LAN Cable and if i enter the domain password, i can login to the computer. after i log on the computer if i connect the LAN Cable it is working fine. I can access the other computer which is connected to the same domain. Why the error message is poping up?

The internet might be super slow at first, then drop entirely to where it says "you are not connected to the internet," then after not changing anything it will have a normal connection speed for a few minutes before repeating this cycle again. I have a macbook pro that I've had for two years connected to my wireless internet, and it has never had a problem. Even now it runs as usual on the wireless internet. I also have two ps3s that are working fine on the wireless, so I know it's not the router or signal.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI recently built a new custom computer for a friend, all top of the line parts.However, when I attempted to set up the internet connection, I had loads of trouble getting it to even connect to the internet. I finally got it to connect to the internet, but it runs extremely slow, and any type of file you try to download is just as creepily slow, to the point where it basically doesnt work. the wireless adapter being used is a 300mbps, and I'm not sure what the router is, but on another computer in the same house the internet works completely fine.

All attempts to access the network fail (ping, local shares, http) and other machines cannot access this one. Network & Sharing Center shows a fault between the Home Network and the internet, however I am unable to Ping or be Pinged by other computers on the Home Network. Other machines on the network are working fine both wired and wireless, although the machine in question is wired only (no wireless NIC).

Basically I have a Wireless N 150 Home Router (DIR-600 B2). I managed to reset and login to the router at http://192.168.0.1. I tried to made some configuration (disabling DHCP, some stuff, basically I was trying to configure this router as Wireless Repeater to connect to another room downstairs).
So it didn't connect so I do a reset (hold a pen for 20+ seconds at the reset button) and now I cant login to the router at http://192.168.0.1..
changed the router wan access pwd and now trying to test the dap i can't seem to log in with the default ip / dlinkap url access i have tried the bridge and ap switch setting on the dap with no luck after resetting the dap a couple of times with no luck ..

My DIR-655 keeps rebooting multiple times per day. Something in the order of 10-15 times per day. This is not under any heavy load. It's plugged into a decent battery backup providing good clean power. I initially thought its overheating, so I had a fan blow on it all day long, without any change in the issue.
I loved this router when it was working correctly (3+ years). Any way to figure out the cause for the reboot?
I'm not able to get my DIR-615 running... that's the case:Cable Modem works fine with Internet Access - LAN Cable to my Windows Laptop.Bought a new D-Link DIR-615 and plugged the LAN Cable from the Cable Modem to the "Internet" Port on the 615. Second LAN cable from Port 1 to my laptop for config of the WLAN SSID and WPA2. Unplugged it and here we go, I can access the 615 via WLan Connection. But... I have no Internet Access over Lan or WLan. The 615 gives me options to setup Internet with the cable/ISP information. But this is done by my cable modem, isn't it ? What do I have to do to get it running? enabled and disabled DHCP, made Reset, latest Firmware 8.02 is installed (out of the box).

When I check the modem, it always is still running. The lights on the modem do the exact same thing whether the internet is working or not. The disconnection is entirely random. Sometimes it will disconnect immediately, sometimes it will take up to a few hours. I do not have a router hooked up to the modem, and the only other thing the modem is hooked up to is our tv. But even when the tv box is off, we still randomly disconnect.

Just bought a new TP-Link TL-WR720N router. Hooked it up and got internet access just fine. However, when I go to [URL] or http://192.198.0.1 to try and login to setup the router, I just get the standard message:

I have just bought the device. I works fine as a AP out of the box. I want to use it as a repeater of my wireless network which uses a Linksys Simultaneous Dual Band N Router WRT400N
1. To do the setup, I have tried to login at 192.168.0.254 I cannot do this (a) using a wireless connection to a Linksys router which is connected to the cable modem and (b) wired connection to the router which is connected to the cable modem. The attempts get a timeout messaage.
2. The default gateway is 192.168.1.1. The DHCP server has the same address. My computer is using 192.168.1.101.
3. I use McAfee Internet Security software.
