D-Link DIR-625 - Wireless Router Disconnects When My Mother Logs On Her Computer

I have a D-Link model DIR-625, and it always seems to disconnect when my mother logs on her computer. Is there some kind of setting on her computer that could be disconnecting us? When my dad is on his I never disconnect which is why I am wondering it must be something on her computer that's interfering with the signal or something. If I reset the router while she's still on, It will disconnect again within a few minutes. So where can I check if it could be her computer that's interfering with the signal?

The modem connects to a D-Link DIR-655 which connects to a computer (Vista) and a switch, the switch then connects to another computer (Win7) and an xbox. the problem is that the vista computer will randomly connect and disconnect from the internet/ network. The vista computer also generally runs very slow on the internet. The Win7 computer runs perfectly and there is never an issue, so I'm wondering if the problem has to do with the vista computer not being connected to the switch? It is not an issue with the router, I have tried two already and the same issue occurs.the vista computer is running with a Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3R which has a Realtek 8111C LAN chipset.

I recently bought a Motorola SurfBoard SB5101U Cable Modem and a MediaLink Wireless-N Router (Model NO.: MWN-WAPR150N). Just yesterday, Charter Internet hooked up the internet for my apartment. It works just fine when I only have the modem connected, but when I add the router, the internet disconnects.I have tried changing the router's IP.Here's the ipconfig /all for only the modem:

We have a Belkin N300 router connected to the internet through a cable modem(Comcast). Up until yesterday it worked fine for all the devices connected. But now whenever my brother's laptop connects(wireless) to the network it makes the router lose connection to the internet so all the devices connected lose connection, too obviously. Everything shows connected to the router, but the router releases it's DHCP whenever he connects. As soon as he turns off his wifi or manually chooses to disconnect... the internet fires right back up within a minute or so. We have no idea what is causing this. We did notice that his laptop was trying to connect with IPV6 while everything else was using IPV4

The router stops showing up after 30 minutes to 1 hour. If I switch it off and on , it starts working normally but again suddenly stops and cannot be detected after 30 mts- 1 hour.

For the Record: I have a Linksys E4200 Router.My computer is an ASUS Notebook (can't identify model, doesn't show on system information, but got it in the last 3 months) My friend's computer is also an ASUS notebook (model designed after a stealth fighter)First: On my computer, I get a solid 500kb/s dl speed at anytime. If anyone else is downloading, even if they are the only others to do so.. they get speeds of 150kb/s tops (on other laptops connected to the router). My old trusty Linksys router started causing BSODs on my computer (!) by crashing the IP stack, so I bought the DIR-655. No more BSODs, throughput to the web went way up, so all that was a success.Then I tried to set it up to send syslog data to my computer, and it was totally useless. Want to see traffic logs, not debug messages. After a lot of discussion with level-3 tech support, it seems that this router cannot send syslog data to a syslog server that shows the incoming and outgoing traffic IPs for monitoring a network.

My router TD-W8951ND remembers only a dozen of latest logs. Previous, older logs disappears. Why? Is there any way to force router to keep logs from, for example, the last 12 or 24 hours?It is important to me because i have some problems on my adsl line and i want to know what happens with connection while I am not in home or when I sleep.If it will be necessary I am able to log onto my router using Telnet, just give me required commands to fix this problem with logs.

I have had my WR841N for about a year, supplied to me by my WISP. I like the router in terms of facilities but it seems to have one really annoying problem.
The router becomes inaccessible via the webpage after a random period of several days. I have at times associated the issue with occasional loss of radio broadband service but it is not always so. To try and further localise the problem I set the router up to send emails of the log to me every two hours from 17/04/2013 but today for the second time the emails stopped arriving after the 02:29 message and the router is inaccessible again. The router previously locked up with loss of broadband service on 26/04/2013 sometime after emailing a log at 02:41 on that day but had been running without issue from a cold restart at 12:25 as soon as I noticed loss of service.
Today I have not lost broadband service and so even though I am no longer receiving an emailed log or able to access the router via its webpage I am leaving well alone for the present. Some months ago when I originally noticed the web access issue I downloaded and installed the latest firmware TL-WR841N-v7-120201 and I note that there have been no further firmware releases for the v7 model.
My broadband service is delivered via radio link from a local transmitter mast and is reliable with typical download speed of 20-30Mbps and 30-40Mbps upload, seldom if ever affected by weather so I now feel the problem is inherent in the router rather then being the result of some issue affecting broadband service which has been solid since 26/04/2013
Without the log I have no way of knowing what was happening when the router became inaccessible but I attach the last 24 hours of received log below.

I am using TP Link 3040 V1 and whenever I am using it with my IDEA 3G dongle model no E1732 it keep on getting disconnected after 15-20 mins.
When i restart the router again it works fine for another 15-20 mins and then again disconnects.
When I use the dongle directly in my laptop it works fine without disconnecting. So the issue is not in the Idea dongle but in the router.

I have my D-link DIR 600 and I never had problems with it until now. For the past three weeks, my router keeps on disconnecting my Desktop P.C. from which the main internet cable is connected. Whenever it happens, I try connecting my Netbook over a WiFi connection using the same router; and even though my desktop can not connect to the internet, my netbook still can. Apparently when it happens, the [3] (the 4th light in the image) light goes off, and I have to restart my Desktop P.C. for it to turn on again and to use the internet again.

i have a desktop that tends to disconnect at random moments, and the only way to fix this problem is to restart for every time the internet disconnects. It is a wired connection and this desktop is the only computer in the house that has this problem.

I have a pretty confusing setup. That consists of my main modem router on the living room, then I have that connected to a powerline that is connected to another room, the powerline from there connects to another router that is turned in to an access point, that connects to mutliple computers, a mac and a pc with ethernet. My mac and my iPhone are also connected with Wi-Fi. My main router and my access point are Wireless.So my problem is that, when I open my Mac, my internet will work just fine. But then if i open my pc while my Mac is on, the internet connection is shut down on my mac and works only on my pc, the wireless also shuts down the internet connectivity, it still broadcasts but without internet

where with my computer where it will connect to my network for a second or two then immediately disconnect. Other computer and devices connect without a problem. I have also experienced this with every network I have tried to connect to; it does the same thing. I figure it is therefore a problem with my laptop itself, but trouble shooting has yielded nothing and most of the fixes I have found require connecting to the network, but obviously I cannot do that.I can connect with an Ethernet cable just fine. My guess would be that there is a setting that is incorrect within the wireless on my computer, but what that is I could not even venture to guess.

I have a problem where the complete home network disconnects whenever my computer reboots from idle state (either after leaving it for a while so it goes on sleep, or by putting it on sleep mode). It then takes a few (long) minutes for the network, and the internet access to it to reconnect. In the meantime ALL devices in the house (other laptops, ipads etc) lose connection too. It's only my computer which does this, so i'm assuming that there's something wrong with the settings on computer.

i m experiencing wireless disconnects every 5 or 10 minutes and all i have to do is too disconnect from the router in windows from Wireless connections panel , and reconnect and it ggets fixed for some time again . i got so frustrated that i changed to openwrt , the disconnection problem is gone but not getting the 150Mbps.

I have tried to go through the tech support email but no dice. My router disconnects every two days. The sys light will stay solid and require a reboot and my computer connected to the router will be unaffected . I have a 30mb connection with only 2-3 wireless clients on at the same time as the wired. The response I got from tech support email after waiting almost a week without a response was :

This is answer I get after already asking once why they want me to downgrade for a different router . What exactly the TL-WR1042ND is going to do for me that the one I have won't,but I cannot get a answer.I have no idea what they mean by "competent ", I don't believe my network is anything special and see no reason why the problem would be fixed by downgrading . This is the second router since December I have had and really dont feel like paying another 15$ shipping back to newegg for a refund.

Any way to get the DIR-655 to e-mail logs? I have all the e-mail settings set properly, but when I request the logs to be e-mailed, I never get anything. Its not in a spam folder either.I do have the DIR-655 behind a 2wire router/DSL modem. I don't know if this is the problem, but I can send and receive e-mails from my computer which is connected to the DIR-655, so I don't think that is the problem.

In the past everything was working fine (had same computer connected wireless + wire) never had this disconnection. Now, I have a laptop connected using wireless & desktop wired but this disconnection is becoming so irritating. As the subject says... Sending logs using "On schedule" option doesn't work. I have my own personal email server I used to test this. When the router time reaches the defined "Start time" nothing happens. I tried both time formats (12h, 24h). The router does NOT initialize the process of sending the email. I see that in my server mail logs. If sent manually from Status -> Logs -> Email now, it works. If sent using "On Log Full" option, also works.

In status->logs sometimes the url is too long and is therefore cut with a set max limit number of characters. Is there any way to increase this character limit. I've been finding it very troubling because I am looking to log the entire url rather than just a cut up version.

I am experiencing an issue since I bought my new laptop.I connect to the Internet with Windows 8 and TL-WR1043ND.My issue is that ever since I installed the printer utility from the site I hear an ON/OFF sound in my speaker randomly and I can not figure out what`s wrong.I think it`s trying to search for my printer but it it off.Also wi-fi disconnects randomly ever since this application was installed.What can I do to fix this issue.Computer works fine without the application.There is no report about this issue in the Event Viewer.
