I set up an "access control" rule in my DIR-635 and so I have all navigation log from a PC of my LAN. But the URL in log are often truncated.There's a way to obtain a full track for an user navigation?

Is it possiable to track how much time a user spends using a service based on it's port number. I have figured out how to capture all the data, and I can then look at timestamps, but I would like a better way if possible. Can this be done at the firewall, or do I need a different appliance?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI logged into my RV220W to backup the config before we upgrade our network and for some reason the navigation bar is not showing on the left, all that is showing there is Change Password, which does nothing when I click on it. The links on the Getting Started page (i.e. Initial Settings-Configure WAN) do take me to the associated link but I can not get to any of the settings I need such as Administration etc.

I have an Avaya IP Phone for work. This has been tested at work and works as expected. After the IP Phone boots it's able to obtain an IP address from work. At home when I plug the IP phone into my DIR-655 router, it's unable to obtain an IP address. Other network devices are able to obtain an IP address, for example any computer or laptop. Also my wireless works with no issues expect for the IP phone. I've already done some searching and found other users with the same issue but I haven't been able to find a solution other than setting a static IP address. I'm curious why this relatively new router won't work with an IP phone. I've played with some of the router settings but it didn't make a difference. Any work around to get the DHCP to work? I'm running the latest firmware for my router: 1.35A Hardware Versions: A4.

This is on a DIR-655, firmware 2.01NA, hardware rev B1.Is there a limit on the number of DHCP reservations that can be added to this WAP?This WAP was working fine with 10 DHCP reservations (wired & wireless devices), 6 schedules, Access control of 2 devices by MAC (6 defined, only 2-3 active at a time).I started adding additional DHCP reservations, because I'm simplifiying my network, and when I add the 26th DHCP reservation I get the message "Schedule rules is Full! Please Delete an Entry."
I've been adding all of the new DHCP reservations as disabled, but I haven't assigned any schedules or otherwise to these new devices yet. So what's up with this message??

After uploading dir-615 dd-wrt firmware, it did not lead me to the new page so I unplug it after 5 minutes and replug it. I tried 192.168.0.1 but it seem nothing came out. Then I found that there is no gateway ip address shown up when I use command prompt to search for the gateway ip address. what does that mean? did I clear the software in it?

Second question when will MACs be able to auto start smart tunnel when the user first logs into WebVPN? Right now the only way I know of starting a smart tunnel on a MAC is a link on the main portal page. I am running code 8.3.2.13

I can view numerous other PDF files from other websites, and even PDF files from TP-LINK, but, the User Guide for the TL-WDR3600 or the 3500 error out when opening in a web browser. If I right click and download them, they will download but then error out on opening.

I click on the link, fill out the form and click on 'modify user' (The set-up guide has a button there for 'save settings') and nothing gets created. I tried this several times and there are no new groups or users. I checked the storage.info file and there is no additional users or groups there either. I think I can edit that file but I'm not too sure what these last 2 lines mean

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've recently reinstalled Windows 7 64 bit on a machine and it was working fantastic. I installed new parts including RAM, hard disk, disk drive, power supply. I rebooted the machine and everything was working perfectly. A few days later I booted and it no longer connects, regardless of being directly connected to the modem, the router, or using a wireless USB dongle purchased from a retail store. The NIC is set up to obtain IP's automatically but an ipconfig /renew gives an error and the built in troubleshooter just states that it can't obtain an IP.

Me and my brother have 2 computers ( 1 MSI , 1 DELL )There is a problem with obtaining IP addresses.When I connect to WIFI, it works with no problems ... I get IP 192.168.1.x ... But when my brother wants to join WIFI, he gets address 169....But sometimes it is working for him and somtimes not.We solve this problem with turn off and turn on wifi router. But there is still same problem, now my brother gets IP address 192.... and I get 169... so it looks like wifi can give only 1 IP but dhcp is configured for more IP ... We also have 1 desktop computer which is connected with ethernet cable and there is no problem with connection... only wireless problem.
