Direct Connection To Remote VPN Ethernet Bridging?

I have a computer with special software, customer abroad has a Laptop and connect multimedia center via etherner port to this laptop, I want to connect directly to customers ethernet port so I can program that multimedia center using a software in my PC. I know the ip address of multimedia center, but I cannot ping to it then I use hamachi port bridging.

I bought new Lenovo IdeaCentre H430 pc and I'm having problem with high pings. Windows 7 with on-board realtek NIC. Fresh install, fully updated, drivers installed from included CD. When I start pinging router (direct 1Gb ethernet connection, 1 hop), pings start at <1ms (which is fine) and after a while they jump to 300-1000ms.
I loaded up live ubuntu to test if the problem might be in HW. It's not, in ubuntu pings were always <1ms.I also noticed that when I start using connection somehow, pings go down to 1ms, but go back up when I stop using it (tested by accessing live camera feed on LAN).
Power Options set to max performance. I disabled Interrupt Moderation on the NIC, didn't work.I tested it in the safe mode with networking, same problem there.
It slows down our client-server based programs, what's causing it. All I could google up was that disabling Interrupt Moderation would work, it didn't though.Computer is giving high pings to router when idle and normal pings when network is under load, it slows down our software significantly.
I am completely new to wireless networking and know next to nothing. I own an apartment on a complex abroad and they have recently had wireless internet installed. There are some areas of the complex where the signal is very poor.
I have some Cisco small business WET200 ethernet bridging units and was wondering if these would be suitable to boost the signal in these Black spots. How to set this up or any suitable products to over come this problem.
I'm a little stuck with a 4400 7.0.220.0 + RAP 1550 + MAP 1260 Ethernet bridging issue. I'm using the VLAN tagging functionality and I'm finding that periodically a VLAN that I've tagged on the MAP will deregister from the backhaul and stop passing traffic. If I go into the Mesh tab on the MAP, select the wired interface, remove the VLAN from the list of tagged VLAN IDs and then add it right back to the list, its starts passing traffic again
I have a Cisco 2801 with a 4 port Layer2 switch card installed (HWIC-4ESW).
How do I bridge Ethernet0/1 to the 4ESW so if you were to plug a computer into the 4ESW, it would be on the same network as Eth0/1? see my config below:
interface FastEthernet0/1 description Internal Interface ip address 10.1.2.1 255.255.0.0
So from a security standpoint... PPTP through Windows RRAS then RDP to the server?,Open port 3389 to the server and rdp direct? would think that having a VPN out front would block people from attempting a connection, but if the VPN username and RDP username are the same, I feel like its about the same.
Will not connect to the internet wired or wirelessly. It does turn on however. Not ISP or modem, because when comp is plugged in directly to the cable modem, internet connection works fine. I'm using a Comcast cable connection.
Router is Netgear-N 150 router wnr1000 version 2.My antivirus software is Malware bites, and when I ran it, it didn't find anything.
OS is windows 7 home premium 32 bit. Here's IPconfig:

APs must be directly connected to the 3850 for it to work in MA or MC mode. But if we add some switches and configure it to work transparently (without CDP/ VLAN tagging /LDP ) ? Do you think this is really not possible to make it? What impact CAPWAP tunnel gets from this transparent switch ?
Dell Inspiron 518 I have a problem with my internet going direct to modem, it a constant problem with my internet. I use Internet Explorer 9 for my web browsing. I contact my ISP and they send in a technician to see if it was a problem with my modem, while the tech work on my modem he explain to me that there wasnt a problem with the modem. He showed a comparison with my computer and his laptop. when he used his laptop it show outstanding speed, and my computer was showing time out or webpage can't be displayed the only way i can use my computer for internet is if i boot up my computer and hold down F8 to go under safe mode with network and my internet works prefectly fine, i even try a ping testing under command prompt and website that test my ping, download speed and upload speed.
I just got another DCS-930L. I have set these up to work wirelessly before but my question is why can't I connect it directly to my ethernet port and be able to get into the web interface by typing the default IP address without using a utility or installation software? I have tried to assign a manual IP to it but that didn't work. So here is what I want to do: Plug the camera into the ethernet port of my MacBook Pro and just view what the camera sees.
I received a 5508 WLC, that I wanted to configure as a guest anchor for our DMZ. I stepped through the console configuration. Now that the setup is complete, can I attach my laptop directly to the copper SFP, and access the WLC web portal? I gave my laptop an IP address, in the same subnet, but still can't connect to the portal, or ping the WLC IP address.
I currently work as a business analyst for a national sales team. I essentially work off of my own server, and just use remote instances to access the database. I am having trouble accessing the internet with the server all I have is intranet(local) access.Since my notebook(with working internet access) is on the same network as my server I feel like I should be able to bridge the network connection on my notebook to work within the server, so I can run updates.
We have telus firbe internet at this house. we have two connections each 25m-bit we've both got actiontech V1000H's. What im thinking is we hook each gateway up to a host pc (server) and go out from there to a switch (one line dedicated input, the other output as to not clog throughput), then from the switch out to two pc's in the house. phones xbox ect can use its own router(s) in theory would this work.
all based on gigabit lan will have additional network cards added for now we're doing a simple data server, but we've been pondering on how to get two separate connections to work in unison?
Currently have two laptops: one is a MacBook using OS X, the other a Gateway PC running Vista Home Edition. A Dell Inspiron 17R notebook running Windows 7 Home Premium is in process of delivery. Current laptops linked on a home Wi-Fi network with AirPort Express router. Anticipated use of new Dell notebook requires its direct connection to Internet outside of current network configuration. Is it possible to have both accesses available in my setup utilizing my one cable high speed service connection? If so, what are the steps needed to accomplish the required setup?
We have FIOS at our home. All the wall connections for ethernet are wired to the control panel in our house which are then connected to a wired router. We have another wireless router in the upstairs which gets internet through the wall port and it works fine.We had another downstairs wireless router in the living room that was working fine as well, but I reset it for certain reasons and it no longer works properly. All the proper lights light up: internet, port, power but the computer can only connect to the network and not the internet for some reason.
I have been using a WRT610N router for several years. A couple of weeks ago I purchased an iPad 2. I am not sure if its a limitaion of the iPad 2 or a wireless connection speed issue, but when watching You Tube music videos the video stops frequently and I have to hit the play button again to resume. This occurs more often if I am using Blue Tooth connected headphones than direct connected headphones, leading me to the initial conclusion that I am witnessing the limits of the iPad 2 processor. However, I recently downloaded the Speed Test app and have discovered that the wireless download speed varies from about 11-15Mbps, depending on the location (normal vs next to router). If I go to that web site and run the speed test there from my direct connected PC (connected to 1Gbps port), I get a download speed typically of 36Mbps (inflated I know because Comcast speed supposedly is limited to 25 Mbps).
I have a DROID X2 and a HTC DROID Incredible can I use wireless wi-fi connections directly through my BN450D router or do I have to go through my computer to hook up..
Currently, my customer has 2 units of Cisco PIX 515E running on Active/Standby mode. As for the heartbeat link, there are 2 dedicated switches placed in between both the Cisco PIX 515E i.e. FW1 --> SW1 --> SW2 --> FW2.
My customer will be changing both the Cisco PIX 515E to Cisco ASA 5510. Now, they are asking me, since they will be using Cisco ASA 5510 eventually, can the heartbeat link be a direct UTP cross cable or must the 2 switches in between still exist?
I remember I have tested this before, few years back, in the event I were to pull out the UTP cross cable that's connecting both the Cisco ASA 5510 Firewalls directly (without any switches in between), the Active/Standby mode still works fine. It doesn't go bad whereby both the Cisco ASA 5510 suddenly becomes Active/Active, and causes network issue.
Are switches required for the heartbeat link in a Cisco ASA environment or can a direct UTP cross cable connection be adequate.
I am trying to use f5d7230-4 v6000 to connect my TV and Playstation to my home WLAN, but cannot set up the router to receive the signal from the base station (FRITZ!Box). Is it possible at all to use f5d7230-4 v6000 for such function?
On wireless (lenovo tabletx61) I cannot connect through the intranet - no problem connecting through internet. When I manage to connect through intranet connection is dropped quite often. No problem connecting via Ethernet cables.
I've got a router on which I run a backup/media/print server, a couple of computers and a voip box. My router has only four ethernet lan sockets which are thus all occupied by the above, but I need to attach at least one further device b
Secondly, could a splitter such as >> this one << do the job? I'm guessing this basically split a single 4-pair ethernet connection into two 2-pair ethernet connections.
Just updated my DTV to a HD receiver which has the ability to access movies/shows via internet so I hard wired my belkin router to the TV receiver and I can't get it to connect. The router light does not go on showing me I am not connecting to the TV receiver. When I go into the DTV receiver it reads all my IP address and has an OK behind them, but says there is an error and the internet is not connected. When I plug the same cable into my PC or my laptop the light on the router does come on. Also my iphone does receive WIFI via the same router. I called DTV and they said everything on the receiver is correct. I called my router folks and they said everything is correct and that it must be the DTV receiver. I've been using this router for several years and their tech guy sounded like he knew what he was doing. how I can get the router to recognize the TV receiver?

To use Remote Desktop Connection, is it really this easy:Open up remote desktop connection on your Host PC --- type the IP of the computer you want to access, then click connect --- As long as "Allow Remote Desktop" is enabled on the PC you are trying to connect to, your attempt will be successful
In my hotel, it is currently running a free internet, through ethernet port/cat5 wire When i plug the wire into my port, the internet works fine, as i am sending this message now, However, when i plug the cable into my router, and i try to connect to the internet, it gives this message through chrome Error 105 (net::ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED): Unable to resolve the server's DNS I'm currently running through the google free dns, i've cloned my mac address direct connect works, however router does not.
IPConfig Logs, direct connected to the internet through wire and connected to the router.

The animation school I work for is going to change names soon. The website already reflects the name change. The CEO wants all current emails changed to fall in with the proposed change as well as changing the school domain. Currently the system works fine as it is and I am of the opinion that changing the internal domain name space will have no effect whatsoever on people outside of the organisation. If there is no need to change things, then possibly re-directing emails internally would mean minimum fuss to daily operations within the school. Has anybody found themselves in a similar position and what was the outcome?
I recently brought an 85mbps Powerline Ethernet Adapter. The basic idea is that you plug it into the wall. connect it via an ethernet cable to the back of your Router and then plug the corresponding adapter into the wall and into your device. It doesn't seem to work. I'm using my iMac and the connection is not working. How to set up the connection as my wireless router is a bit far away to give me a really good connection.
My wireless was working fine... didn't touch anything and then it stopped. My roommate can connect fine and I can connect with the ethernet cable. I ran the Xirrus and it's not detecting any networks and i'm right next to the modem.
I'm using XP SP3. I'm trying to connect using the Local Area Connection for the first time. Up to now I've been using wireless but I'd like to get better performance.
Here are my current settings via IPconfig: Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection: Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
[Code].....
I've tried releasing and renewing via IPconfig. Renewing gives me the following error message: An error occurred while renewing interface Local Area Connection : unable to contact your DHCP server. Request has timed out.
I've got limited connectivity. It's trying to send but cannot receive.
