May 1, 2012I recently purchased a X2000 ADSL modem/router combination. For some reason the current time will not stay set to the time zone. Rebooting clears the discrepancy for a short time before it drops an hour exactly. I'm in the central time zone and the setting are correct on the basic setup.?

Jun 29, 2011Ciso 1941 router frozen once a day, sometimes after 2 to 7 days. When the router frozen, no internet connection and cannot login/ping ethernet ports. I can login to console port and copy the error messages below. Reload the router and it will return back to normal operation. Re-installed IOS but still the same.

I tried my local AT&T store and they said all my settings in the phone were right and suggested I reboot my router which I did. Nothing has corrected the problem. Nov 29, 2011I am having a problem in which when ever I check "Computer" later on in the day, one of the network drives is duplicating itself over and over using a different drive letter each time. By the end of the day if untouched I can have approx 20 of them!To give you more information about the scenario, the computer is on Windows 7 pro, it is on a domain in which the server is 2008 r2, there are 2 network drives in total (only one is duplicating), the only 2 changes I recall that may have caused it is box.net is running on the server syncing all content on the networks drives and a new printer has been added on the network.

Dec 8, 2012I have a new 601 vers. A1 F?W 1.01NA.I tried the link from FuzzyNuts and read the disclaimer. However, page 10 of the 601 manual actually shows a similar "how to".My lan allocates addresses automatically between 100 and 200. Through cat5e I connected an XPPro sp3 comp lan port to the #1 lan port on the 601. I can log into the 601 router and disable UPnP and Save. But each time I try to do step#3, uncheck DHCP Server and Save, it says "successful",counts down to 0 but when I click on "Continue" it won't. When I try to get back into the 601 router again I get a "no or low connectivity " message.I have tried re-setting the router many times and then I can get back to the same step and it fails to continue each time at the same point.
All I am looking to do here is get a better AP signal in one corner of the house where fridge and cupboards block good reception from the DIR-655 and I have an Ethernet connection available at that location to connect the 601 if I can fix this.
