Bought router and a PCIe wireless mini card that was suggested for my PC on Dell order site. The card arrived and am trying to install. The end plate with the aerial socket is not compatible with the removable access blanks in rear of case. Have I been sent an incorrect or unsuitable card, or is there some trick or adapting needed to install this card?

Dec 1, 2010I simply, can't install Cisco Connect. I want to because it has the parental controls and guest SSID controls. When I try to install, the progress bar get's to 25% and then stops - the next screen says "Our Customer Support team can help. Your router was not successfully setup." I reset the modem and have my computer plugged in to port 1 while I try to install the software. I have been able to setup the router manually. It works great. My issue is that I can't install Cisco Connect desktop software for Mac.

It will not install and my WiFi is still down.My system is an Alienware m15x with Windows 7 64-bit. I recently re-installed Windows due to a small bug that was hampering Google Chrome. Nov 8, 2009I am running Windows 7 with the WUSB600N (v.2). Here is how I got it to work.The driver support is not a .exe. You will have to install it yourself...but it's not a big deal.Download the Windows 7 driver for your OS version from the Linksys Support page.Save it to the desktop and then unzip it to the desktop so you can find it easier.Once unzipped you will see 3 folders: Mac, Win7 32 and Win7 64. Choose accordingly.What I did was install it through the "Device Manager". (Right click "My Computer", choose "Manage", then Device Manager",or use the "Search Bar under the Start Menu...whatever. Once you are in the Device Manager...
1. Make sure your WUSB600N is inserted in your computer.
2. Navigate down to "Network Adapters" If you see your WUSB600N adapter...great! Your halfway home!
3. Right click on the "Linksys WUSB600N Adapter.
4. Choose the option to " Update Driver Software"
5. Choose "Browse My Computer for Software"
6. Navigate to the desktop and choose the folder that contains the name of your Windows 7 platform.
7. It should update but, HOLD ON! We are not done yet!!!
In order for it to start transmitting in that shiny new 5GHZ band, you must go into "Network and Sharing Center". Once there, look on the left hand side of the main window and you will see "Change adapter settings"Go there. You should see here that your existing adapter is still working (enabled) and your new Linksys WUSB600N has a big fat red "X" under it (disabled).Right click on your existing adapter and choose, "DISABLE".Then, right click on the WUSB600N adapter and choose "ENABLE".The last thing you should have to do is choose the network you want to connect to (for me it was the 5GHZ one) ..and Viola!!

Aug 24, 2009I recently reinstalled my OS of my E1505 and was installing drivers from the Dell Resource CD (which was for an ME051, is this a problem?). But, after installing all of the drivers and system software my Intel ProSet Wireless program still says there is no supported wireless adapter on the computer...I also cannot create a connection when I connected the laptop to my hardline DSL cable.
In addition, the video card driver will not install saying that one or more files needed to complete the install were missing and it closes the install wizard. Just in case any of you can answer that as well.

May 10, 2012i just recently built a new computer (well today) and i plugged in a wirless usb adaptor that was about 2 years old and it was pretty fast but it still lagged my game starcraft (i was just trying it out to see how the computer would handle it). Sep 10, 2012The other day I went to a friends house, came back home, booted up my PC, and my wireless network adapter wasn't working. I've tried everything to fix it.It's a D-Link DWA-525 802.11n Wireless PCI netowrk adapter. On device manager it just says 802.11 Wireless LAN Card with a yellow exclamation next to it. And when I check what the error is, it's either error 31 or 52 at different times, depending what I've tried to do to fix it.I tried downloading the driver for it off the D-Link website, nothing happens at all when I install it. I tried taking it out of my computer and plugging it in. I tried enabling it and disabling it on device manager.I noticed one thing, when it's in my computer the green light at the back that says activity next to it isn't on.
