I have an esprimo fujitsu seimens laptop and have just purchased a kodak esp 3.2s printer. I have a belkin router and am unable to install the printer, it is not recognising the router.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am having trouble connecting via wireless a Kodak ESP 5250 to a Linksys E1200 Router.I am using the printer console controls to configure the printer.I have verified that the password string is correct.I have changed the Channel to 6 and the encryption method to WPA/WPA2 Personal.The printer is configured to use DHCP to obtain and IP address.The problem that I am experiencing is that the printer is not getting far enough in the connection process to attempt to obtain an IP address.Tis printer was previously connected to a Belkin Router using WPA/WPA2 TKIP. But the Linksys router does not support selecting TKIP.I am not to the point that I can connect a computer (via wireless) to the printer. I have a computer connected via USB cable and that works well.

After approx 2 hours on the phone to TalkTalk engineers and testing with another laptop, and getting my phone working by entering a password into my phone (that I believe was already in there), the guy said my laptop is bust due to something breaking inside that prevents connectivity. I cant remember what he called it now, maybe something like 'wireless connectors', but that could be totally wrong on my part.As I sidenote, I noticed the laptop took ages to reach the desktop screen, then the picture behind the icons had expanded slightly so I couldnt see the edges of the picture, and the icons were slightly fuzzy/blurry.

Dell laptop over the last two weeks will not link to wifi at home.I use it at work and it's fine. Does not cause any issues for anyone else on wifi network at work. Hooks right up to their system, no problem.However, when I get home, it will not link back up to home wifi. It will also disengage the desktop computer from the wifi as well.Even if desktop is off, it will not link with home wifi.
View 19 Replies View RelatedJust installed windows 8 on this laptop, everything is working fine, it has all the drivers etc. It does not seem to be picking up wireless for some reason. When I press the quick launch button for wireless absolutely nothing is happening, however it can pick up internet with the ethernet cable from the modem. Had a read of this and tried to install the FSC Launch Manager from the Fujitsu website still to no avail. Cant be the operating system either as it the same problem arose when i install a version of xp yesterday.

My internet connection is by dongle only on 3, a zte mf627.When I bought the printer I was told I didnt need anything else to print from pc to printer for the internet. Then spent a week trying to configure both. After talking to someone else they told me I needed a router to act as a bridge, so I bought one (more expense!), a belkin n150 f6d420uk4. The printer is now set up to the router (and recognises it) and the pc recognises the router. Unfortunately, I keep getting asked for a network security key/name to set up a local network for the pc,and I dont ever remember setting one up. If I go into the kodak printing program on the desktop, it just says, printer disconnected. I have know spent 2 weeks and more money on something that I thought was easy to set up. I am worried about throwing the lot through the window!! I have tried installing the printer on a network on the pc only to have an error message 'you do not have sufficient rights to perform this operation'

Computers connecting to the netgear can connect to the internet ok. But devices on the netgear network cannot connect to devices on the linksys network and vice versa.Can anybody explain to me how to set up so devices connected on one router can identify and communicate with devices on the other?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI called up the ISP and had him activate the Sb6120 modem.The Dir-655 will not link up with the Sb6120 unless I drop the WAN port speed down to 10MB. Then it will connect. (the light on the modem will come on). I thought the modem was bad so I had the ISP deactivate that one and we tried another Sb6120 samething.I did the firmware update on the Dir-655 to current but samething.

I have been trying to configure a 837 for a while now and I'm finally nearly there. So far the tests run(SDM interface test) and pass on atm0(WAN connection to the internet) but not on ethernet0. I am guessing i need to link them somehow but since I don't know the terminology searching for how to do it is turning out to be difficult.

I have to have my internet router/modem in the kitchen as its the only phone point in my flat currently working, but my partner has to run an ethernet cable down the hall from there to hook up his xbox 360. however, I want to be able to use ethernet for my laptop occasionally to get a better speed then over wireless as the wireless isn't perfect from the room i'm in and wondered what the best way to go about this was. I could also plug in my PS3 if there was a way to get all my devices connecting to the router without too many cables. I've heard of a switch.. what does this do? Or will a simple ethernet connector work for what I wanna do

Right now all the computers are on wi-fi.I know if I ran the computers through a switch they could share data more quickly. The problem I have is there is no way to get a cat connection to this area.If I got a range extender with switching ports built-in would it still speed this data up? Or would it be irrelevant because it still has to travel via wi-fi to the router and back?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have two locations both about 800meters apart, one is my home and the other address is a campsite where i have a linked router network (WDS with routers running ddwrt) where campers can all use the internet and also i have several IP cameras. Obviously both address have different gateways and therefore their own DHCP server. Everything was running perfectly until.I linked both of my address up using a long range antenna and now i am having problems.
Sometimes the two DHCP servers are competing with each other (i need both addresses on the same subnet in order to view my IP cams from home) and sometimes the computers log on to the wrong gateway. Its very annoying because the only way i can resolve it is by turning of the "linking routers" for a minute and then the Computers log onto the correct gateway. This happens to clients both side of the bridge. I have many different clients on both side of the bridge so assigning each computer (via windows) its fixed default gateway and DNS is out of the question as some of the clients are Camper's PC's and mine and my wifes laptops swap between both locations.
Now my query is, how can i block both DCHP servers from going over the bridge? OR can i have them on both separate subnets and still view my IP camera and still access all the routers from each subnet (i need this because sometimes i need to reboot the routers from home)
The laptop will not send anything to the printer anymore?

The solution at which I arrived was to remove the existing printer profile and add it fresh. That worked for the pc but not for the laptop. The laptop doesn't see it.

We also have a lexmark printer that is connected wireless as well. The Vista laptop has worked and prints fine with the lexmark. Now I have been trying to connect my new laptop to find the printer but when trying to add a new printer or even trying to add a new device windows 7 never finds the printer. Now, I have tested the ports and accessed it through the internet and it works fine, until... I click a link to open a folder and suddenly I get a "No such page" error thing. I have however identified this problem, it seems that when I go off the main page it re-routes to the original network address, not my IP forward address. For Example if my IP was 82.9.12.456 and the port was 800 i would go to "82.9.12.456:800" and it would load but once I navigate i go to "192.168.0.*:800/*****" and does not load the page. If i then copy and past my IP into the URL it works, but this is annoying.
