But on one of them which runs Windows 7 and MCAfee Antivirus I cannot watch any videos from Youtube. On the other one which runs Windows XP all videos are running great. I've check the firmware version and it is the last one. I've try to disable the firewall in McAfee and it still does not work.

I heard about Roku & thought that is what I wanted or Blueray with DLNA. But Roku just pulls streams from subscriber sites like Netflix & Hulu. DLNA will allow you to view video you have on your HDD but will not let you stream live feeds like watching a live event that is streaming on your PC. Is there any hardware out there that will allow me to have whats on my PC screen on my TV screen via wifi (or other means)?

View 4 Replies View RelatedApplication can connect, but doesn't get any response back. Bypassing router solves the problem.Looks like there are not too many settings I can change allowing/disallowing particular ports for outgoing traffic. How to fix this so I can watch mms streams?I called DLink support, opened the case DSI-400-927087.First rep there suggested to turn on multicast. Then rep asked to change link speed from Auto 10/100 to just 100Mb and to reduce MTU from 1500 in increments to 1400. So I had to revert to my old Linksys router BEFSR41 from 8 years ago. This one works fine with MMS streams.

I've followed Watchguard's instructions for configuring a Branch Office VPN connection, and I'm unable to connect. I have configured the Watchguard gateway to accept remote-to-local connections and put in the Watchguard's public IP address as the local connection, and the WRVS4400n's public IP as remote. The Linksys has the local VPN group configured as 192.168.0.0./24 and the remote gateway as the Watchguard's public IP Address. When I connect it remains "down" and I"m receiving errors saying it could not authenticate. I have the passphrase the same on both sides with 3DES and SHA1 configured.Does the WRVS4400n support this type of VPN configuration or am I wasting effort?

When I watch HULU through the player it kills the entire internet connection for all PCs. I have to unplug the router in order to restart it. Everything will also work just fine until the next crash. Here's the thing, I'll watch a bit of the show and see the commercials and the router will only crash when it comes back to the show. If I watched 100 commercials they would not crash, but as soon as it returns to the show CRASH. Restart and we watch again.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have some 1080p video files on my PC. Since my PC isn't powerful enough to play the files smoothly, I have been streaming the content to my PS3 using Windows 7 media sharing.
This works well with no noticeable loss of quality.
My problem is that I have to go into the services on my PC and restart the WMPNetworkSvc service every time I switch the PS3 on, otherwise the PS3 doesn't detect the PC.
how to make this a permanent arrangement?

It takes 5 minutes to buffer a 3 min video, and if I want to watch a show, it take like 2 or 3 hours to fully buffer. My internet still goes fast, and I have trendmicro antivirus, as well as ccleaner, i updated my drivers, i have ie9 and adobe flashhplayer 11.1, i updated everything in windows update, i unplugged the modem for awhile and shut down more often, and opened it up and blew all the dust out.
