There's a splitter (rca home theatre 5-1000mhz) between the tv and the Mac Whenever both cables are hooked up, the internet always cuts out.The wireless on the ps3 disconnects when the internet upstairs is connected.

I can't use both online for some reason. I also can't get my 360 to work online unless I reset my router, and the IP says something like 24.* whatever in the network settings for the 360. I'm fairly knowledgeable about computers, but I barely know anything about networking so bear with me. I think this started after I removed a cable from my router (a different connection that I didn't need any more), and hit the reset button. I'm not sure what exactly it changed to cause this however. I also tried a router of the exact same model and it didn't work.

View 2 Replies View RelatedThe building's IT specialist has provided a program I think he made himself which changes a computer's settings to allow the user to log on and enter their student username and password in order to connect to the internet.Usually, when I get back from his place, I:plug in my Ethernet cable,open network and sharing center open the properties for my wired connection go to authentication and untick 'enable IEEE 802.1x authentication'and this works fine. However, I came back from his house two days ago and this did not work. I've tried system restore multiple times, rebooting, unplugging and plugging in the cable, and even going back to his house, setting myself up there and coming back to test if I can get back to normal again.

But on one of them which runs Windows 7 and MCAfee Antivirus I cannot watch any videos from Youtube. On the other one which runs Windows XP all videos are running great. I've check the firmware version and it is the last one. I've try to disable the firewall in McAfee and it still does not work.

I have a android box linked to my tv it works fine in wireless mode, but when I link the router to the android box hard wire, it does not recognise the hard wire link just carries on with wireless connection ?
I've followed Watchguard's instructions for configuring a Branch Office VPN connection, and I'm unable to connect. I have configured the Watchguard gateway to accept remote-to-local connections and put in the Watchguard's public IP address as the local connection, and the WRVS4400n's public IP as remote.The Linksys has the local VPN group configured as 192.168.0.0./24 and the remote gateway as the Watchguard's public IP Address.When I connect it remains "down" and I"m receiving errors saying it could not authenticate. I have the passphrase the same on both sides with 3DES and SHA1 configured.Does the WRVS4400n support this type of VPN configuration or am I wasting effort?

When I watch HULU through the player it kills the entire internet connection for all PCs. I have to unplug the router in order to restart it. Everything will also work just fine until the next crash.Here's the thing, I'll watch a bit of the show and see the commercials and the router will only crash when it comes back to the show. If I watched 100 commercials they would not crash, but as soon as it returns to the show CRASH. Restart and we watch again.

Rebooting clears the discrepancy for a short time before it drops an hour exactly. I'm in the central time zone and the setting are correct on the basic setup.?
