I have 2002 dell not sure that's relevant but I have Verizon as my Internet provider and after I downloaded an ip address hider it seems that I no longer have an ip address after I turned off my computer and turned it back on and can't load any Internet page. I've tried doing ipconfig /all and nothing comes up

I'm trying to configure a 3com 5500 switch with default ports for each vlan. The default ports are connected to IPS/IDS and do not have an IP address. I have a trunked esx host coming in and want to send traffic to specific ports based on vlan id - one port per vlan (10 total). Right now all I'm getting on the ips/ids is stp and arp traffic.
is there any way to interact with wan port like LAN?i have connected a rocket m5 as a bridge to my Dir-615 wan port but i cant see the AirOS login page (rocket m5 configuration page) nor brige's ip address on my LAN...is there any way to interact with the ip address that connected to wan port?
Can an ip address be NAT'ed to an ip address on a PIX 515 which isn't an ip address of a network directly connected to an interface on the PIX? Â Specifically, can a host with an ip address of 150.140.102.3/26 which is connected to a network whose PIX firewall interface is 150.140.102.1/26 be NAT'ed to an ip address of 150.90.70.1/24 which is not a ip address of an interface that is directly connected to that same PIX 515? Â I've attached a PDF depicting the network topology and describing the above. My first response to this question is that it can't be configured to do this, but need either a confirmation or correction to this.
One of the customers has deployed Cisco 7609S in their infrastructure for Branch/RO connectivity. When we tried to configure per-tunnel QoS with DMVPN for MPLS connected sites, we came to know that Cat 6500 and Cisco 7600 series routers don't support this feature.  Now, we are looking for suitable replacement of Cisco 7609S. I found a document for configuring above feature on Cisco ASR 1000 series routers, but it has many restrictions always.  We are now looking for  (a) suitable platform in the league of Cisco 7609S which support above feature.
(b) suitable technology replacement of DMVPN with minimum restrictions.
I am in search of a low cost network camera that i can see online, and by going on numerous sites, and conversations i end up with dlink network camera. They are:
-DCS-932L -DCS-2121
The best part about these are you just have to plug and view online. But now I am having one problem, the d-link people say that i can only see the video or image on mydlink.com otherwise I have to provide a dedicated IP address to the camera. And I want to view this camera via server IP address. Is there a way that I can configure the camera to my server IP address. If any one has used or know the camera which can be view online via IP, The main thing that I am trying to say is that i will extract the image via server ip and use it accordingly.
I'm using CCP to configure my Cisco 881, I need to assign my IP address range to the WAN interface (176.35.224.112/29), however everytime i enter the IP Address with a /29 subnet mask or indeed one of the usable addresses with a /32 I'm told I need to "Enter a valid IP address".I have also attempted to set the interfaces IP address via IOS directly and was also told the address was incorrect.
i did a fresh install of windows Xp on my sisters old laptop i had to transfer the drivers for it from my computer via usb drive since she didnt know where the original discs for it where at. Anyways my problem is exactly as the title says, i was able to connect it to the wifi router it recieves and sends packets just no problem but i cannot get an ip address or subnet mask. i checked ipconfig /all and it shows 0.0.0.0 for both the address and subnet mask with the defualt gateway being nothing, i tried using ipconfig /renew and the doesnt work it just times out. the DHCP client has started and is runnig on automatic. I am using my computer to type this since the laptop does not work, i only know so much about networking i can get by with normal problems this is beyond me though. internet provider is AT&T the laptop connects via linksys mini pci card I ran the set up for the router still nothing and after runnig the internet setup in the control panel i was able to get it connected and send/recieve packets but still no ip and not able to use the internet at all.
Server 2008 has two Nics one connected to outside switch and has internet, other Nic is connected to local siwtches which has 20 systems connected locally but does not have internet. Local systems were getting IP from server, but there was not internet on the lan systems, I restarted the server and local systems lost IP address. earlier everyting was fine.
I am trying to connect my laptop to a wireless router at my home, however, it shows limited access and when i browse the internet, i can't surf through the net. I have typed in my SSID and key correctly.
My current set up is 1 HQ router (2911 ISR) and 8 site offices with a non-Cisco router. Each site has an IPSEC tunnel back to the HQ router. All of the site routers have a dynamic external IP address. This set up has worked ok for now, but I would like to look at moving to GRE tunnels so traffic from the sites can be routed to each over.I have read up on the configuration and I can set up an IPSEC GRE Tunnel in test labs using a static IP address on the spokes however I have not been able to find any documentation on how to configure the HQ router to allow the tunnels from any IP address.I did try setting the tunnel destination to 0.0.0.0 on the HQ side but this does not work.
I have a test ASA 5505 at home. The DHCP IP address in my real home firewall is 192.168.1.x and as you are aware the default ip address in ASA is the same. how to configure the ASA.
In the link below there is an instruction, it seems it is working for everybody except me. I followed the instruction up and the only change was assigning the IP address, which I chose something other than 192.168.1.x But after the step of creating NAT, I do not have access to the internet. [URL] Also I followed the link below, but the revision of the ASDM in the instruction does not match with mine, so I was not lucky to figure the device.[URL]
1- How can I configure the ASA 5505 with an IP address different than 192.168.1.x (at home = no incoming static IP address = DHCP on subnet 192.168.1.x for the incoming internet) I have installed ASDM 6.3 on my laptop (From work) but when I connect to the ASA it wants to install ASDM 5.7.I tried to connect to the device through ASDM 6.3 and input the IP address 192.168.1.1It takes for ever and it does not connect to the device
2- How can I connect to the device by ASDM 6.3 or any ASDM with higher version than the original of the device?
I have an Amilo Pa1510 (Windows XP) and I can connect to the router but not surfing (browser doesnt load any website). I have tried the commands "ping" to my IP address and it works but ping to the default gateway IP address doesnt work either.I am using the same wireless connection right now with my smartphone. I have downloaded an app that executes the ipconfig command in my Android. I have used the same gateway IP address in my laptop but it didnt work either. I have tried to set automatically the IP addresses in my laptop without success too. I have turned off and on both laptop and router and also checked in the system window that all the processes such as DHCP and DNS servers are automatic and enabled.
I've got a refurbished lenovo Y470 notebook, just out of the box. I was planning on spending the day configuring it, removing bloatware, ect. but I can't acces the internet. I'm at work, there is a guest wireless network for us, I can connect with my phone so the network is up. I was able to connect normally to my home network last night, not sure why I can't connect here. Running win 7 home premium.
My laptop now is using windows 7 operating system. When i want to use wifi it connected but cannot access the webpage. I am using wifi from my android device. Before this my laptop is working normally. I can access to the webpage like usual. But since three days ago it happen. what is going on with my laptop or my android device. But my android device can access to internet normally.
I have many computers and work on a wireless network. We live in a very large multi-unit building in a very large city. We hadn't had any issues with connectivity for a while, but recently the PCs in the office cannot stay connected for more than a minute or two. It happens to our two desktops and one laptop; the only computer that seems immune is the lone apple laptop. The PC laptop has much less difficulty staying on when I sit in the room with the router. The office is literally the next room over, less than 20 feet. The network still shows up as an available network, it just won't connect. All the impacted computers will be fine for maybe a minute and then will all drop out at the same time. Rarely (like once in the past month) there will be no issues at all, and we can stay on all day. We have changed the channel of it a few times, but there are at least 15 other networks nearby. The router is relatively new, it is a Netgear Rangemax Duo wireless n-adapter. We have gotten to the point where we have no idea where to go next.
My laptop says that it is connected to the internet but that i have no internet access, everyone around me has laptops that will work fine with the same wifi source but mine wont pull up any pages at all
My wifi that is connected but no internet but works fine for my iphone and other housemates in my house. Im able to connect using a housemate internet through wifi.[URL]
I have a switch layer 6500 series connected to a firewall, the port configuration between them is layer 2, in another words I do not configure an IP address in the Cisco switch port to conected it in the firewall, but when a apply a policy on firewall it lose communication with others vlans, just the vlan that is connected between the switch and firewall works, attachment the design. I think that is necessary to configure the connection between the firewall and switch as layer 3 ( a port with IP address in the switch), but I would like to know why? The switch is configured with about 10 vlan and it is a inter vlan routing, a default route is configured in the switch where the gateway is the firewall.
I remember long ago I was upto some trial and error with my router and I ended up in changing some ip that I didn't know about that time, now when I was trying to forward some of the ports. I addressed the computer to 192.168.1.1 (as this was my ip that time I remember and on the box its written too) but it didn't respond, then I remember that I have changed this ip to something else and now I can't remember this.
I have a Cisco 1841 router with Fa0/0, Fa0/1 and Se0/0/0:0 interfaces. Fa0/0 is facing the LAN. At the moment WAN interface is Se0/0/0:0. It has following configuration:
how to configure an IPaddress for a PWR-RPS 2300?.I tried finding info on the website but no luck as yet. RPS 2300 will be used on stack of 3750E series switches.
