Wired Epson Stylus D88 Printer Sharing Between Windows 7 And XP?

Apr 7, 2012

I have an Epson Stylus D88 printer connected by USB to my Windows XP desktop that is connected to my router by an ethernet cable.

I would like to print through that printer from my Win7 laptop wirelessly, but when I follow the "add printer" steps I get told; "Windows can't find a driver for EPSON Stylus D88 Series on the network. To locate one manually, click OK. Otherwise, click Cancel and consult your network administrator or the printer manufacturer's website."

Epson XP-205 - Laptop Can't Print To Wireless Printer

Jan 2, 2013

I recently purchased an Epson XP-205 Wi-Fi printer, and I set it up on my network and installed the drivers to my laptop, initially I could print over the network, but since a restart I can't. I have tried an uninstall and reinstall of the printer, but to no avail and if it matters, I'm running W7 64-bit.

I've ensured the printing programs are part of my firewall exclusion rules, and I can access the printers set up page via 192.168.1.3, also as expected, the printer is "pingable". On top of this my Android tablet is able to send things to the printer, so I'm sure it is an issue with my laptop.

Epson Cx8300 Printer - Scanner Not Being Detected?

Feb 27, 2012

I have a multifunctional printer epson cx8300 and have it connected to a print server TP-LINK TL-PS310U in a hope that every PCs on the network can share the printer to do printing and scanning. When I did a test to check if I can send a job to the printer, I could actually print it through the print server. However, the problem now is I can not scan a document. When I went to open windows Fax and Scanner window, unable to see any scanner there. So my question is whether this is the limitation of the epson printer itself or the print server or the scanners do not work on the network.

Unable To Reach New Printer (Epson SX620FW) Wireless

Mar 1, 2011

Recently i bought a new printer: Epson SX620FW, I've tried many things, but I can't connect it wireless to my network. Ive downloaded and installed the latest drivers and software from the internet. My PC is connected with a cable to my wireless router. When I connect the printer with a cable to my router everything works perfectly. But I want to connect my printer wireless. On the printer I disconnect the cable. I followed the wireless wizard setup on the printer and I connect to my wireless router. This is confirmed by an ip adress on the printer. Also in the menu of my router I find the ip adres of my printer in the DHCP clients list. So far so good. But from my PC I can not find the printer in my network. I also cant ping my printers ipadres. When I connect the UTP cable to my printer again, I can ping the ip of my printer.

EPSON SX515W Series / Network Printer Does Not Print

Dec 20, 2011

The printer, EPSON SX515W Series, is connected to the old computer, plugged in. The other laptops were not connected to the printer and would print as wireless. However now only the old computer prints directly to the printer, the other laptops fail to print it says that the laptop has the EPSON printer as it's default printer yet when ever I try to print, an exclamation mark in yellow triangle appears on the icon, in the control panel>printer section. Troubleshoot does not fix the problem either. The other problem is I can't remember how this was set up as my dad did it, and he will kill me if I don't fix it back. Also the old computer is different to the laptops. Old computer has Windows XP, and the laptops are vista.

Cisco Wireless :: Windows Sharing From WLC 5508 To Wired LAN

Mar 4, 2012

I'm having problem with windows sharing (file/printer sharing) from Wireless lan client which is connected to AP3500 and WLC 5508 then to Nexus 7010. It's already using ip command, for example \192.168.84.65 WLC os version 7.0.116.0 (using AP groups) Nexus os version 4.2(6) The weird thing is i can connect using windows sharing from wired LAN to wireless user however not vice versa. f

-Wireless lan to wired LAN using windows sharing - failed

-Wired LAN to Wireless lan using windows sharing - success.

I've been analyzing by making sure that all the to end, there would be no firewall within source pc(s) and destination pc(s) and also the ACL inside Nexus. Been dying here to find solution for this, due to the customer is using it for file and printer sharing service.

Epson WF2530 - Configuring Network Wi-Fi Printer From Ubuntu With DHCP

Mar 4, 2013

I'm trying to use an EPSON WF2530 printer over wifi from my laptop Everythings fine until the printer gets turned off and on and the router assigns a new (different) IP address via DHCP.

I can run:

sudo nmap -PR -sP 192.168.1.1/24

which returns a list of MAC addresses and IP addresses on the LAN and then manually set the printer properties to the new IP address or I can log into the WiFi router and inspect the DHCP table then do the same thing What I'd really like to be able to do is have Ubuntu handle this automatically, e.g. it queries the MAC addresses on the LAN, finds the printer, extracts the current IP address and sets the printer properties appropriately? have to check the printers IP address every time I want to use it.I don't want to go down the route of having a static IP table

router is Cisco Linksys Dual-Band Wireless-N ADSL2+ Modem Router with Gigabit WAG320N

I have tried to reset the router also but this had no effect. the units plugged in via wire are working ok it is just something to do with the wirless signal.

Two LANs Sharing One Printer

Mar 26, 2011

I have two complete and separate "networks", each with their own internet connections. One is for home use, one is for business use.

(1) Home network has a D-Link cable-modem/router to the ISP. Variable public IP address. NAT'd.This router is configured "as provided" by the ISP (except for a few port-forwards). DHCP serving is enabled, etc. If possible, I do not wish to change any major router settings.LAN IP Range: 192.168.0.0/255.255.255.0

(2) Business network has a 2-Wire ADSL-modem/router to a different ISP. Static public IP address. NAT'd.DHCP serving is handled by a Windows 2003 Server. I am happy to change any router and server settings.LAN IP Range:192.168.254.0/255.255. 255.0

I have a network printer. It is currently connected to the Home Network (1) and has a static IP address 192.168.0.8, but I wish it to be accessible by PC's on both networks. My first thought is to simply connect both routers LAN-side via an ethernet cable. However, I can't find a way to add a LAN-LAN static route on the Business Network router (it only has options for WAN-LAN static routes). Do I really need to internetwork the routers via the internet?!?

He can not see the printer or even access the desktop at all. Both are part of the same work group. I have file and printer sharing allowed through the firewall. I have tried running the network setup wizard and that did not work. I installed the driver for the printer manually on the laptop and did not work. Everything that I know of related to sharing is turned on.What I find strange is Vista can not access XP but XP can access Vista.
