Wireless Network Will Not Connect To Internet?

I am running a Netgear wireless N-300 router from my RoadRunner modem. I installed the network early last week to no problems. A few days ago the wireless devices wouldn't connect. They recognize the network, but will not connect to the internet. I have given them their own IPs with the router, and shut off DHCP...this didn't work. I've obviously tried to power cycle the router and modem....this didn't work. I can't seem to find a fix. My android devices connect to the network just fine, but otherwise if it isn't connected via wire, it won't work. I've also tried to connect things without the android devices connected just in case it was interference, and that didn't work.

i just hooked up a dlink router at home so i can use my laptop in different rooms. i have a desktop in one room and the internet works fine but when i hooked up the wireless router i can connect to the network but it says no internet access so i cannot get online my brother in law is really good with computers and i called him and tryed doing a bunch of different things like changing the web address and such but nothing will work.

The problem is I can't connect to my router, It says "unable to connect to wireless network" . Been trying to 5 days now to fix this, Not getting anywhere.Laptop is, HP Pavilion g6 Notebook, My network wireless adaptor is realtek rtl8188ce 802.11b/g/n.

I have two separate wireless networks in my house, one of them is for sharing my NAS data and the other is for Internet.problem is when I connect to the NAS network and after that I change my network to the other network, I can not connect to the internet ( I can connect to the wireless).

I have a Linksys E1200 wireless router and I am having problems connecting to the internet. I can connect when plugged in to the cable modem directly. I can connect to the wireless network, but there is no internet connection. I ran ipconfig release and renew. I think it may be a DNS problem, but I'm not sure.

I tried my entire afternoon trying to figure this out but to no avail. Fortunately, I found this place out of my desperation for a solution. My netbook works very well in my home network but when I brought it to my workplace, I was unable to connect to the internet eventhough I could connect to the wireless network. Other computers and laptops were able to connect and use the internet well using the same router. I tried manually configuring my IP and default gateway based on what I read but nothing worked.

My roommate has a HP pavilion that she has been trying to connect to our internet, and while it seems to be connecting to the network, it wont connect to the internet.Its running Vista, and I tried all the repairs that it prompted me to try, but could not resolve the issue.I know it isn't a internet problem, because the desktop is hardwired and we have two xbox's that connect wireless with no problems.Im not sure what info I should have included in this thread, but its my first post and wasn't sure what I needed to put.

I'm having trouble connecting my 360 to the wireless router to gain Internet access.I use my phone's Wi-Fi to gain internet access with NO issues. My current setup: NetGear Wireless router is connected to my D-Link wired router, and I can access the internet no problem. (10 MBPS down, 5MBPS up)When I try to connect the 360 to the Netgear Wireless router, it connects to the Network, but Internet test it reads "DNS error - The router or modem may mot be automatically providing DNS settings. Try a manual DNS setting instead."(Next suggestion) "DNS Error - If you have a PC that can successfully browse the web, check it's network properties to find the DNS address it uses..."Now, I have XBMC running on my computer, and the 360 can access the network so it shows up under Video Apps so I can see a file list to stream movies. When I try to run a movie, it says I must download an update - so I can't watch the movies at all.I juso set it up so I can access the Network AND Internet.Again, Netgear wireless router (which 360 connects to) connected to D-Link wired router.

I just set up a new router/modem from Centurylink (C1000A) and am having a problem connecting wirelessly to the internet on my laptop. I have a Dell 1390 Mini-card. The laptop shows that I have excellent wireless connectivity. Is there a setting that I need to change to get my internet to stay connected?

I am having problems connecting to the internet. I've tried changing my security from WPA to WEP and back again. I've searched these forums for a solution and nothing has worked. I've changed my antenna output to Aux from Auto as one thread suggested, but no luck.
For a time, I could connect to my wireless BT Home Hub 2, but the range was pathetic (about 4 metres). I've tried connecting to my partners home wireless connection, and again, same problem. Now the connection is virtually nothing. If I am lucky enough to get a connection then it will be poor and usually fail within 2 minutes.
I've had my Dell Inspiron Mini 10v for nearly 3 months now. I wish I was brave enough to return it when I had the chance.People have commented that this could be a known issue. I don't know what the problem is. I've spoken to IT bods my office and nobody seems to know.

Namely an Unidentified Network with no NETWORK access. Some information first, the NIC that Im using is the Realtek PCIe Family Controller, Ive updated the drivers, Ive uninstalled, Ive reinstalled. Ive basically been on the internet for the past two days trying all the solutions. Including refreshing and renewing my ip, trying a static ip (although, Im still not sure if I did this step correctly) Ive tried disabling IPV6, Ive tried adjusting my speedflux. The problem is also intermittent with seemingly no reason whatsoever, some days Ill go without internet for the entire day, then the next day Ill boot up my computer and Ill have internet again. It should be noted that when I enable WIRELESS on my laptop, Im able to connect to the network, but when I enable wired, I am not able to.
Here is the ipconfig /all for when Im connected wirelessly and have a connection.

It should be noted that I am using powerline adapters for my connection, but as I said, this problem only recently started cropping up. I went fine for almost a week with no problems, then all of a sudden it started happening. Im still able to connect wirelessly so its not too much of an issue, but I prefer via Ethernet..

I am currently having a problem connecting to the internet on my desktop connection. It is a wired connection from the modem straight to my desktop's ethernet port.It has been fine for a long time until today where it is suddenly unable to connect to anything internet-related at all or takes a long time to load even half of the page.My desktop is running on windows 7 and I was using avast antivirus until i tried uninstalling it in an attempt to fix the issue but to no avail.I am able to use the cmd and ping to other websites but the problem is, all of them have a latency ranging from 500-1000ms, even websites that are local to me.I have tested the connection on my laptop and it seems to work properly without all the problem stated. When I try to connect to the internet, it just says "identifying" then says it is an "unidentified network". I've tried:
Resetting the modem
Checked all cables
Uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers
Disabled & enabled the drivers
It's set to automatically connect to DNS
Updating the ethernet with the latest from Microsoft
Ran ipconfig /release and renew
Tried another modem and new cables
Tried other houses with DSL & Cable internet
I installed a USB wireless device which worked when I tested it in wireless areas. But so far nothing has worked for the wired part. At one point before all this started, the internet worked intermittently and would work at other houses perfectly. So I assumed it was my modem or connection at my house. But then I plugged another PC into my modem and it worked instantly. So I know there is no physical problem with my connection, modem or cables.

I have a new actiontec modem/router, used to have a D-link modem/router and all my devices, computers worked fine. now everything connects except the Sony TV with Sony USB wireless lan adapter. I have read a lot of posts and one here was sort of the same. The problem is I get the 169.254.72.161 which I understand is what it sets to when it won't connect to the router and get a new Ip address. I haven't been able to manually put the ip in. Also even connecting with the cable direct to the modem/router still doesn't connect.The member who also had this problem was with his xp win computer. My problem this is with a tv device so I can't release ip or anything. They said his problem was a" be that Winsock2 is corrupted."

I have tried everything (to the best of my knowledge). I have tried stopping certain programmes from launching from start up (using msconfig.exe) and deselecting unnecessary programmes.The internet works in Safe Mode with Networking and I have run Malwarebytes Anti-Malware but to no-avail.The router is working because my iPad and other PC's are connected to the same network and are all operating perfectly. Two laptops (Vista) connect to wireless router.Wireless printer is also connected to wireless router.Desktop has colour printer attaced to it.I want to connect the desktop (XP) to the wireless router so the laptops can print to the colour printer, and the laptops can open shared files on the desktop, but don't want the desktop to be able to connect to the rest of the world.
