Connect Two Different Internet Services On One Network?
Jul 5, 2011
i want to connect two different internet connection on one network?i have on wi-tribe internet connection and one super net internet connection and i want to connect these to internet services on my one company network.
I've been having some issues with my network connectivity for a while now, and I haven't been able to figure out what the problem is. I run a wired connection to an Ethernet port in the wall of my university dorm. I have verified that it is not a global network issue or an ISP issue; this problem only happens on my PC.My network connection drops/disconnects randomly throughout the day. When I say disconnect/drop, I mean that all attempts to ping or access the internet fail. A few minutes pass before the Network and Sharing center task tray icon shows a warning sign saying that my computer could not connect to the internet. This is temporarily fixed by doing an ipconfig /release and ipconfig /renew, but I have to execute these two commands about 2-3 times a day on average.
There is no exact interval between the disconnects, nor does it happen when I am running particular programs. The disconnect happens regardless of what I am doing at the moment (gaming, browsing the internet, leaving the computer idle).A month back, I installed some Windows Updates and suddenly my internet connection was almost completely broken. I was experiencing the same issue, but much more frequently. My internet would die within 10 seconds of executing any download, but Windows wouldn't recognize that something was wrong. At first I thought the ZoneAlarm, Avast!, or the SafeConnect (as required by my university) services were causing trouble but uninstalling/disabling these services did not fix the problem.I also tried reverting to my default ethernet drivers, which did nothing. I uninstalled and reinstalled multiple versions of my drivers to no avail. However, the internet worked just fine in Safe Mode with Networking, so I cross-referenced the processes/services running in Safe Mode w/ Networking against my normal startup, guessing something else was at play. After some poking around, I discovered that disabling the Server and Browser services permanently fixed the issue of instant connection death. But the initial problem I described still remains;random, less frequent internet connection drops.
My system problem is after starting the computer within 5minits network services are disabled and network path not connected but communication is working when i am testing the ping command.
I'm looking to add a VPN service, and would prefer to have it right at the router rather then at the individual devices. With the ADSL Netgrear N600 DGND3700 router, any VPN that will interface with my router? I know many VPN's work with DD-WRT, but what about my stock FW on the router?
My computer connects to my institute LAN.They provided us a configuration according which I configured TCP/IP v4 settings and firefox settings. All the webpages open smoothly but other internet realted services apart from firefox are not working eg Skype,Windows Update,Mu Torrent etc.The LAN connection says "No Internet access"(The sites are opening nicely though) and puts a yellow exclamation marks on the LAN symbol in system tray.
I recently got a new laptop with Windows 7 running 64bit OS. Setup the laptop with no firewall and no Antivirus programs. After installing the Any connect 2.5 VPN application I was able to successful connect to our ASA. I noticed if my laptop went into standby mode or if I rebooted the laptop the "Cisco Anyconnect Agent" is not running under service even though it is set to Automatic.
I have uninstalled and reinstall with no success and have even tried the new version 3.x with the same result. If I go into services and start the anyconnect agent I can launch the application and connect to my company with no problems. I was able to replicate this issue on a co-workers new laptop running Win7 64 that has no applications on it.
win 2003 dhcp server. when I leave dhcp services OFF i can ping the server fine. once i turn ON dhcp services the connecting drops in and out.. what is going on here? My users are unable to get a steady connection to the dhcp server.
I recently upgraded from Linksys WRT54G to D-Link DIR-655 firmware version 2.0. All the features are working as advertised however i am having difficulties accessing UPnP services in my network. I have a Samsung 55" internet enabled TV connected to the router and also have few devices that can stream over UPnP to the TV. The option to enable the UPnP is enabled in the router configuration however its not finding devices in the network ... comparing that with Linksys ... all i had to do is enable the UPnP and all my devices discovered each other and started streaming without any issue. What do i need to do in D-Link to enable the UPnP devices ...
I have some questions about monitor of status of services on Network Devices such as HSRP, Etherchannel (between Access ports and Servers), etc. How we can track those information in addition to Syslog. Is it possible that the Fault Monitor displays them?
I've had a Linksys WRT54GS running DD-WRT (build 14929) for a while. I recently bought another Linksys (Cisco) router (WRT160NL) and installed DD-WRT on it (build 16785).
I'd like to keep the WRT54GS as my main router since it is very stable and use the WRT160NL as a network switch, NAS device, and asterisk server. I already have samba installed, configured, and running fine on the 160. However, the 160 is running as a router so only devices connected to it can access network shares.
How can I configure the 160 so that all devices in my network can access its network shares?
[OK] Site to Site IPSec + GRE = success, no problems. [OK] IPSec remote access = success, no problems. [NO] SSL VPN = remote users can successfully connect to all internal systems. Cannot pass traffic to the Internet.
Hardware: Cisco 2811, Cisco IOS Software, 2800 Software (C2800NM-ADVIPSERVICESK9-M), Version 12.4(22)T5, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc3) . Software: Cisco Any Connect Secure Mobility Version 3.1.01065
Single hub router terminating IPSec+GRE site to site, IPSec remote access, and SSLVPN remote access VPN services. All services currently configured and running successfully with the exception of the SSLVPN service. Remote users can initiate and successfully establish SSL VPN sessions. While established, connectivity to all internal systems/resources are successful. Only when the remote access client tries to connect to "Outside" Internet resources does traffic not pass successfully. Troubleshooting has pointed to a NAT related issue (I believe).
When connecting from a remote access workstation, utilizing IPSec remote access client (built-in Cisco IPSec client from Mac OS), the session establishes and the client works flawlessly. Examining the Cisco 2811 router, you see the /32 host route from the remote access session get installed, and you see the corresponding NAT translation entries created when the client accesses outside (Internet) resources. Appropriate configuration to implement "hair pinning" have been included to handle the in and right back out (with NAT translation) needed for remote clients to access the Internet.
Configured the 2811 for SSL VPN, and remote access clients can successfully connect and access all internal network resources. Examining the Cisco 2811, the /32 host route for the remote access client is installed, pointing to SSLVPN-VIF0 interface with a next hop of 0.0.0.0 When checking the NAT translation table, there are NO entries for the remote access client address created which leads me to believe the hair pinning/NAT function is not being invoked for SSLVPN clients.
Originally, the IPSec remote access VPN local pool was 10.0.100.0 /24. To keep from having to adjust the existing NAT translation, PBR Route-MAP for the hair pinning function - I took the 10.0.100./24 and broke it into a pair of /25 networks. Bottom half for the IPSec remote access VPN pool (10.0.100.0 /25); upper half for the SSL VPN pool (10.0.100.128 /25). By utilizing SSL VPN, is the traffic somehow bypassing the DIALER1 interface where both the crypto map (and more importantly: IP NAT OUTSIDE, and PBR configuration for the hair pinning function)? I cant explain why NAT translation entries are not being created for SSLVPN client sessions.
Cisco 2811 Configuration has been included. IPSec & SSL VPN Remote Access Sessions Captures (performed from same remote client) have been included.
I need to know how WLC can support ISE guest management in wireless mode. Tested and confirm by Cisco SE, Knowing that WLC currently does not support dynamic VLAN authorization for central web authentication. This limitation will be addressed in WLC 7.2 when MAB and CWA support is added to the code. On the other hand, DACLs on the other hand works and we can use that to restrict access of this guest traffic. Can ISE support on WLC LWA guest access provision? This able to view guest user login and show at ISE monitoring.
Namely an Unidentified Network with no NETWORK access. Some information first, the NIC that Im using is the Realtek PCIe Family Controller, Ive updated the drivers, Ive uninstalled, Ive reinstalled. Ive basically been on the internet for the past two days trying all the solutions. Including refreshing and renewing my ip, trying a static ip (although, Im still not sure if I did this step correctly) Ive tried disabling IPV6, Ive tried adjusting my speedflux. The problem is also intermittent with seemingly no reason whatsoever, some days Ill go without internet for the entire day, then the next day Ill boot up my computer and Ill have internet again. It should be noted that when I enable WIRELESS on my laptop, Im able to connect to the network, but when I enable wired, I am not able to.
Here is the ipconfig /all for when Im connected wirelessly and have a connection.

It should be noted that I am using powerline adapters for my connection, but as I said, this problem only recently started cropping up. I went fine for almost a week with no problems, then all of a sudden it started happening. Im still able to connect wirelessly so its not too much of an issue, but I prefer via Ethernet..

I am becoming very irritated with my laptop. I would like to know why I can only connect to the network Linskeys, and it'll have this little yellow thing, and it'll say its connected but once i click and internet thing (like google chrome) it will say I am not connected.
my brother wanted me to download some program on my computer, i did so and it needed a reboot, once i rebooted i couldnt connect to the internet anymore. its been like this for about 3 weeks. i would really like to be able to use my computer again. it says its connected to a unidentified network, but cant connect to the internet.
Is there such a thing as a repeater, or relay which can receive the wireless signal from the router which is situated at one end of the house, and resend it to a part of the house that doesn't get a good signal from the router?
I have an internet connection of 100.0mbps and have two pc connected to it sharing internet connection but the other pc can't connect to internet when the other one is connected? how can i i fix it?
I am currently having a problem connecting to the internet on my desktop connection. It is a wired connection from the modem straight to my desktop's ethernet port.It has been fine for a long time until today where it is suddenly unable to connect to anything internet-related at all or takes a long time to load even half of the page.My desktop is running on windows 7 and I was using avast antivirus until i tried uninstalling it in an attempt to fix the issue but to no avail.I am able to use the cmd and ping to other websites but the problem is, all of them have a latency ranging from 500-1000ms, even websites that are local to me.I have tested the connection on my laptop and it seems to work properly without all the problem stated. [code]
Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium ACER Aspire X3400 Nvidia Nforce 10/100/1000 ethernet Cable internet SB1502 Cable modem
When I try to connect to the internet, it just says "identifying" then says it is an "unidentified network". I've tried:
Resetting the modem Checked all cables Uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers Disabled & enabled the drivers It's set to automatically connect to DNS Updating the ethernet with the latest from Microsoft Ran ipconfig /release and renew Tried another modem and new cables Tried other houses with DSL & Cable internet
I installed a USB wireless device which worked when I tested it in wireless areas. But so far nothing has worked for the wired part. At one point before all this started, the internet worked intermittently and would work at other houses perfectly. So I assumed it was my modem or connection at my house. But then I plugged another PC into my modem and it worked instantly. So I know there is no physical problem with my connection, modem or cables.
I have a new actiontec modem/router, used to have a D-link modem/router and all my devices, computers worked fine. now everything connects except the Sony TV with Sony USB wireless lan adapter. I have read a lot of posts and one here was sort of the same. The problem is I get the 169.254.72.161 which I understand is what it sets to when it won't connect to the router and get a new Ip address. I haven't been able to manually put the ip in. Also even connecting with the cable direct to the modem/router still doesn't connect. The member who also had this problem was with his xp win computer. My problem this is with a tv device so I can't release ip or anything. They said his problem was a" be that Winsock2 is corrupted."
I have tried everything (to the best of my knowledge). I have tried stopping certain programmes from launching from start up (using msconfig.exe) and deselecting unnecessary programmes. The internet works in Safe Mode with Networking and I have run Malwarebytes Anti-Malware but to no-avail.The router is working because my iPad and other PC's are connected to the same network and are all operating perfectly. I am running on a wireless network and tried an ethernet connectinon but again noI have seen on a few forums that when people provide their HijackThis logs.[CODE]
My wifi is enable but I can't connect to ANY internet networks and my own network is down. There is a cross through the symbol.I have even tried looking and checking my network through the control panel and instructions but no avail.
Two laptops (Vista) connect to wireless router.Wireless printer is also connected to wireless router.Desktop has colour printer attaced to it.I want to connect the desktop (XP) to the wireless router so the laptops can print to the colour printer, and the laptops can open shared files on the desktop, but don't want the desktop to be able to connect to the rest of the world.
I have been having an internet connection problem recently. My laptop can connect to networks, but not to the internet. I have tried two locations with wireless networks, and both do not work on my computer, but do on other computers, so I know it is my computer and not the network that is the problem
I just brought my new PC build over to my grandmothers house and I can't connect to the internet on her connection. All I did was plug her Ethernet cable into my port on the back of my motherboard. I didn't touch any other cables or settings. It seemed to recognize there was a connection but said it was public and was trying to identify it. Then, I was unable to connect to the internet.
My computer won't connect to my network. I goto my list of wireless networks, chose my home network and press connect. Then a prompt comes up and says " Windows is unable to connect to the selected network. The network may no longer be in range. Please refresh the list of available networks, and try yo connect again", I'm in the same room as the router so I know I'm in range. It won't let me connect to any other networks either, other than one named VirusHost. The VirusHost doesn't sound like a network I want to be connected to though! When I start my computer in Safe Mode with Networking I can connect to the Internet, so I don't know what the deal it. Also it seems this happened awhile back and a friend of mine did something in the Internet options, advanced settings to fix the problem. Not sure exactly what he did.

I am running a Netgear wireless N-300 router from my RoadRunner modem. I installed the network early last week to no problems. A few days ago the wireless devices wouldn't connect. They recognize the network, but will not connect to the internet. I have given them their own IPs with the router, and shut off DHCP...this didn't work. I've obviously tried to power cycle the router and modem....this didn't work. I can't seem to find a fix. My android devices connect to the network just fine, but otherwise if it isn't connected via wire, it won't work. I've also tried to connect things without the android devices connected just in case it was interference, and that didn't work.
My internet connect sometimes and other time is won't do nothing at all it picking up the network just won't pull up anything. I just flush my dns and still no luck.
