Higrade VA250D Laptop / Unable To Turn On Wireless Capabilities?

I have a higrade VA250D laptop, I have just connected a wireless adapter to my main pc, but when i try to connect the laptop to the wireless connection i get the message that "the wireless adapter is turned off. turn the wireless connection on by means of the switch usually found on the side or front of the unit or by means of the function keys". I do not have a switch on anywhere of the outside of the laptop and i am unable to find a function key to turn it on. How to switch the wireless capabilities on. I have checked on the device manager and it has a green tick and says that the device is working properly.

I have a Toshiba A665D. For some reason the wireless capabilities is turned on and doesnt turn back on no matter.what ive done
- ive tired fn+f8 but it tells me waireless capabilities are disabled.
- the wireless button on top of the keyboard above the f8 does not do anything but light off then light back up
- in Windows Mobility Center, the turn wireless on button is disabled so i cant use it
- ive even tried uninstalling the driver and restarting the computer
- system restore doesn't work

For the past few days my laptop's connect has been really spiky and constantly D/Cs. So I turn on my other laptop to check and its connect works. Then I check my current laptop and the connection works now too. Long story short, I found out that if I turn on my old laptop (also connected thro wireless) my current laptop is able to connect flawlessly. I tried it the other way around, turning off my current laptop and only using my old and it works so it must be a problem with my current laptop.

I have a dell inspiron 1545 and recently the OS crashed. It was terrible I couldn't do anything not even boot up in safe mode. So my friend said they could fix it. They installed Vista Ultimate and managed to save all my files from my previous system but I can't turn on the wireless capability. When I hit the F2 key nothing happens.

We have Wireless connection facility in our collage. All my friends can access to wireless but I cannot. How to connect to wi fi in my laptop.I tried to power on the wireless by pressing FN+F8 together but at network connection it displays as No connection is available.Secondly I checked the device manager and under Network adapters there is only three driver Bluetooth Device (Personal Area Network), Bluetooth Device (RFCOMM Protocol TSI) and Realtek PCIe FE Family Controlleer are working.I also checked the driver of this PC and found one folder named WLAN_B and even did the setup but still not working. I am using windows 7 Professional and 64 bit of OS.

this model does not have a button and the fn key combo has no effect. The adaptor shows fine in device manager. How can I turn the wireless back on? I had this problem once before but can't remember how to turn it on.It seems like a box popped up asking if I wanted to restart the wireless.

I have a MSI laptop and I turned on Wireless from the button and the led is now green but when I try to connect it says it is off? Btw, there is a X on the Wireless Connection in Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network Connections.

The switch is one, device manager shows the wireless card removed the switch and checked it and it moves to "off/ON" no problem System still says the switch is off.

I am having to use my ethernet for my lap top, Satellite Toshiba. I have a router and the other laptop in the house works but mine wont. Cox blames it on Toshiba and Netgear and netgear blames it on Toshiba. i blame it on Cox who says for some reason my Toshiba wont allow the signal to be picked up. It goes elsewhere but not my laptop. PS is my satellite burner capable or do I have to buy softwARE?

I have an Asus Model U56E. Recently the wireless has been disappearing whenever I turn off my laptop. What I mean is that when I turn on my laptop, the wireless doesnt seem to exist. I go under device manager and all I have is the eternet and my bluetooth device. About 85% of the time, when I go under "action" and click on "scan for hardware changes" the my Intel(R) Centrino(R) Wireless-N1030 will show up along with the Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adaptor and I'll get my wireless back. However, when my laptop turns off, the same thing happens.
In addition, my fn F2 button no longer seems to work. I'll press on it and majority of the time my light that signals that the wireless is working does not turn on. Most of the time it stays off whether or not I am connected to the wireless
This is what I already attempted to fix it, based on googling for answers:
1. Under the properties of my wireless and miniport adapter, I went under power management and unchecked the box that says "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"
2. I went to my laptop's power plan and changed all my wireless adapter settings "power saving mode" to maximum performance for both battery and cord
3. I went to the intel website, had it look at my laptop wireless system and followed their recommendation of installing an updated wireless software thing. All that happened was that it told me to disable my old wireless and then install it. However, even though I followed their instructions, it continued to repeat the same message. I had to perform a system restore to get my old wireless back
4. I disabled wireless console 3 (by Asus) under programs and it seemed to work. My laptop was getting connected whenever I turned it on. However, the next day my laptop updated itself (b/c of my system restore) and I am back to the same situation except my wireless console is still disabled.

I will be purchasing an Insprion 570 with an AMD Athlon II X2 Processor 245 and 4 gigabytes of RAM from Dell in a short while as a budget gaming computer. I have a Qwest wireless router connected to my main rig, and I was just wondering if I would need to buy a wireless adapter, namely the Netgear WNA3100 Wireless-N 300Mbps USB Adapter from Dell, to be able to recognize and connect to the network, or would it automatically recognize the network without it.

Whenever I select it and apply changes, then reopen, it has reverted back to the off position. I have removed all firewalls and software that could interact with it (disconnected it from the network whilst in this state). I have set the correct services to automatic as they should be. It is getting rather frustrating not being able to share my media across the home network. I can see and utilise other computers media but none can utilise said computers media

I own a Netgear Router and the wireless capabilities are not working. I have it connected to a comcast arris Modem. When i have and ethernet cable connecting my laptop, router, and modem, i get a connecting. but im not sure how to get the wireless running. I have used this router before ith my old internet provider. Ive tried messing around with the router settings for a while but i cant get it working.

I have a problem with ASA 8.4.2 and U turn for remote vpn traffic that needs to exit from Remote VPN and then to make a u turn on outside interface to enter another site to site VPN.
Interesting traffic access list is modified as needed, routing is ok, but debug icmp trace 20 is showing that icmp packet from remote vpn client address to the host on the other side of maintained site to site tunnel is going to the inside - not to the outside as it should go.

I have built my own computer and have almost finished with everything, but I am unsure as to how to set up the wireless capabilities for it. I am submitting this thread on the computer itself, but am using an ethernet cord to connect to the internet. I don't know if I need to download and install a different driver or if there is a simple way to just change some settings in the control panel. I am using windows 7 64 bit. I'm trying to set up a wireless bridge as part of my network and I'm having some issues.I'm only assuming I need a wireless bridge setup based on what I've gathered in forums such as this, but perhaps I'm barking up the wrong tree.Internet Modem --hard wire-- Belkin F9K1102 Router {{{fancy wifi waves}}} TP-Link TL-WR340G Router --hard wire-- CPU..I already have a working wireless/wired router (Belkin) that I use to get online. I have a CPU that can only connect to my network via hard wire in another room. Running a hard wire from my Belkin router to the CPU is NOT an option. Therefore, I would like to use my TP-Link router (which has built in WDS wireless bridge capability) as a wireless bridge and have it connect to my Belkin router and thereby the network and the internet via wifi. I will then connect my CPU to the TP-Link router via hard wire.
I've tested both routers directly and independently connected to the modem and they both work fine. The issue I have is only in trying to get the bridge between them to work. I've followed various tutorials (TP-Link website, YouTube videos, site like this one, etc.) to no avail.I know that my Belkin router does not specifically have wireless bridge capabilities, but I'm not sure if BOTH routers having this capability is necessary for a wireless bridge to work or not.I also have multiple screen shots of the router configuration settings for both routers which can be provided if need be.

I have 2 CISCO WS-C3750G-12S-E witch I`m concidering using as redundant VLAN routers for a small WISP network.Do not have much experiences with these, so I might be asking stupid questions...The network has about 2000 connected clients.
Traffic is about 300 - 400 Mbps duplex.
100000 - 150000 PPS
Expected this to get to about 3000 connected clients.
Traffic about 500 - 700 Mbps duplex.
150000 - 200000 PPS
Before these end their duty Are they up for the task, or do you reccomed something different?
