Mar 20, 2011
When I start the installation of sonicwall vpn client 2.4 in Windows 7 that sends me the following message "unable to manage networking component. operating system corruption may be preventing installation".I use the version 2.4 Windows 7 32-bit?
I have a work computer...Dell Latitude 6400, AT&T Global Network Client (Company VPN service), using Novatel USB551L from Verizon, with their new 4G LTE. First connect to Verizon, then it automatically launchs ATT Global Network Client, once connected, the system automatically maps drives. I stay on for about 15 minutes average to 40 minutes that's when the Verizon drops/disconnects. This consistantly happens throughout the day!
1. If I connect to a "local" wireless signal NO dropping.
2. If I tether my Sprint Android, NO dropping.
Only dropping with the Verizon. I MUST have the Verizon dedicated to this work computer to run the VPN and hopefully (very soon) a mandated VOIP with Avaya!Called Verizon- they sent me a new USB thinking that might fix it. But same thing. They are showing signal strength 4G. Nothing on their side.
I uninstalled all of the Lenovo built-in remote assistance software, but still am getting an error on initiating the VPN.When I try to run the client, I'm asked to select the Group, enter the Username and Password, which I do.
I get a message saying "Establishing VPN - Repairing VPN adapter", then it crashes and reports: "AnyConnect was not able to establish a connection to the specified secure gateway. Please try connecting again."
My PCI Ethernet LAN port seems dead after dual booting my dell Inspiron 5220 (Windows 7 Home Basic & Windows 8 PRO) and now LAN port is not detecting any plugged cable both and also not even in Linux live. In both OS network card driver is alright. Most searches over the internet opened up deep sleep mode as a reason of such failures.
im trying to install Cisco prime LMS 4.2.3 for Windows 2008 R2 standard x64.however i have received this error message.

I've got a customers laptop here which had Windows 7 64bit OS Installed when i received it. They wanted a fresh install with there own windows 7 disk (Which is in perfect condition) The problem I'm having is when the windows installation gets to a certain point i.e Completing Installation the resolution changes (which i know is normal) And then crashes!
I wait on Dell and other vendors to start pumping out Win 8 certified hardware, I have been running the Win 8 CP on my ST slate since February. With the release of RP this weekend I readily upgraded. Now i was able to get all functionality working previuosly but am now running into an issue with the wireless/BT card driver. Seems Microsoft sees the BT part of the Dell 1535C mini card but will not allow the wireless driver to load.
I lost my network connection after installing Microsoft office 2010.. what can I do to get it back ? I know it is this as i have been fussing with my computer all day.. Started a fresh installation on windows 7 RC 64 bit popped in adapter, and tried installing disk, disk would get the portion where it asked to input the adapter, then just vanish after i click next. I restarted, nothing. I clicked set up again, says drivers are already installed....though there is no app to show profiles, im guessing it isn't.

version 1.00 would work just like the disk. version 2.00 would not start at all and would give an "the application was unable to start correctly (0x0000005).."
I have tried running all versions of the setup program that came with the adapter. Even when I ran the compatibility program I still get error 211 adapter not recognized. When I looked in the device manager the adapter is listed but with problems. Under properties it shows windows cannot load the drivers required for this device error 31. I also tried updating the drivers from the device manager using the ones I downloaded directly from linksys website. The ones for the 64 bit windows 7?
I have a Inspiron 1520 which came with windows Vista and I recently did a Windows 7 clean installation. There were no drivers specified for Windows 7 in Dell Driver Download so I installed Vista drivers, connected to internet via LAN Cable and upgraded most of the drivers.
WiFI networks could be detected when installed for the first time but after a shutdown it never detects again. Sometimes it randomly detects, I tried using the laptop for 2 weeks now and only 2 times the WiFI automatically came up.
There is a switch to pull after turning on WiFI radio, which will display the list of WiFi networks in a window, that Switch is not responding now.

I just bought a WMP600N adaptor and although windows 7 recognizes it I would like to install the official drivers from Linksys. When I try to update the drivers that I downloaded from the linksys website I het an access denied error. I am logged in as the administrator. I have already tried uninstalling the default drivers, but still I get the access denied error. I even tried the windows safe mode and still got the access denied error.
With the default windows 7 drivers the connection is quite poor. how I can install the official windows 7 drivers?

I installed on 2 different PCs (Win7 64-bit) the Cisco VPN Client 5.0.07 with the same VPN profile for 2 different users. We use an ASA5505 (8.0(5) sec plus license) as the VPN end point for the clients. The VPN Clients can connect simultaneously to the ASA, they receive the split tunnel infos but only ONE client can ping the internal network ip range. The other one has no access to the internal resources! When they separately try to connect, there is no problem. Each of them can reach the internal net.On other 2 PCs (Win 7 32-bit) the clients have no problem reaching the internal net (simultaneously connect).
I have a client that has a 5505 installed. They want to VPN in with their Win7 laptop, but they don't want to shell out $1000 for the 10-pack Cisco VPN client.I have successfully setup the clientless VPN, and they can, through a browser, get to their files, but they'd like to map network drives so it's just like they're in the office.I tried setting the IP Sec up on the 5505, and then using the built-in Win7 VPN network connection, but no go.I also do everything through the ASDM, but I realize some things cannot be done. I'd prefer to use the ASDM!Anyone else get this configured? 99% of what I see out here is how to connect the 5505 for site-to-site VPN.
Client connects to PIX 501 but cannot see the LAN in Windows Explorer.Devices can be pinged by IP and hostname (netbios name)I can navagate to a server by typing in \servername.Why can I not get a resolution from Cisco techs? [code]
I have just purchased and setup a vpn on my ASA5505 and now I wish to setup a Windows VPN client to use it. Does CISCO have any free vpn clients for Windows?I tried to download a client from the CISCO downloads area, but it's for some kind of purchase agreement. I would have thought that the vpn client was free to download given my ASA comes with two free vpn licenses.
Looking for a working Cisco VPN client for Windows 7. There seems to be an availabel download for a ver 5, but you have to be a reseller etc.. Where do I download the Windows 7 supported VPN client to access my WRVS4400N router? If none, should I use 3rd party - IF yes to 3rd party, which one would you suggest?
I have set up our network with an RV220W as gateway/Wifi-AP,VPN host.I am able to connect over the WWW with the windows 7 client laptops no problem, BUT ,I cannot from my office reach out to the laptops, it seems as if the tunnel is one way.The users can do anything they need, but I want to be able to connect to them to update their AVG or render remote assistance etc.Ping from client to home network no problem.Client laptop is invisible to any ping etc FROM the home network.
