I have a motherboard intel DG41RQ and it has a built in lan card but i wanted to put another lan card via the PCI express slot and i put it and the flash lights on the network card are flashing but still the hardware manager and everything on the computer haven't even noticed that i put a new hardware.

1. Other machines can connect to the Airport Express network, including a Toshiba Satellite PC, iPhone, and MacBook.
2. The Passkey is valid and works for the devices identified in (2)
3. When entering the valid passkey, the network rejects it and says the passkey is invalid
4. I have opened the Airport Express utility and changed the passkey to a new one, and all of the devices identified in (2) were able to connect -- but the ASUS laptop still cannot connect, the system still rejects it from the ASUS laptop and says "passkey invalid"
I have an AirPort Express set up as my router, and that works fine and is the main network that I use. I also have a Linksys WRT54GL that is wired to a printer.Currently, when I want to print from my computer, I have to manually connect to the Linksys network, which is a pain. I would like to wirelessly connect the Linksys to my main network, so I can print even when connected to my Airport Express.Does that mean that I have to configure the Linksys as an access point? A bridge? Something else? How do I do that?
View 8 Replies View RelatedI added an airport express wirelessly to my E3000 network at home. Other wireless devices (laptop) sometimes have issues seeing it within the network. If these devices are wired in the network they don't have any issues seeing the airport express. Is there any special configuration I need to do to my E3000 so that wireless devices can see each other? I also had the same issue with my ps3 for streaming from wireless laptop to wireless ps3.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've got an apple Airport Express and have managed to set it into my network. Airplay works on both Itunes and my phone. However after 10-15minutes the Airplay drops out and the network map shows that the airport express is 'offline'. however the airport express LED remains showing it still have connection to the network. The only way to get it back is to reset the AE. The apple forum has lots of people stating the same problem with WAG120n routers.

I think I have discovered the cause of this; the "Read" permissions are off. Here is where my problem comes in, when I enable it and select "Apply Changes Recursively", it goes back to the unchecked "Read" permission. It doesn't seem to take into account the fact that I want to enable it.
I am currently using Time Warner Cable as my internet provider and I have been experiencing very slow internet connection speeds for the past few weeks. This has happened across multiple laptops and desktops both wireless and wired connections. I have done a ping and tracert test but am unable to read the results.

I am trying to change SNMPv2 community string on 6509 remotely, without using expect script. I tried EEM applet (we cannot use TCL scripts), but it does not work. EEM command "action 10 info snmp oid 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.4 get-type exact" is supposed to store the result into an environment variable. It does not. Or at least not in the one that is documented. Is it a bug? We have IOS 12.2(17r)SX5. To get EEM version i ran "sh event manager version" and got "eem: (v240_throttle) 2.21.32". Does it mean i have EEM version 2.21?

Then I stopped using the Internet to do a program tidy up. - there were a few program's that had been extras to other program's I don't need. Then I went to use the Internet again and it wouldn't connect through the Ethernet cord. I was able to establish that my computer is still able to access the Internet through wireless (which we don't often use on account of it been spotty). Could I have done/deleted/turned off something that allows my computer to read Ethernet cords?

1) Created a user in ACS
2) Create Shell command Autorization Set - ReadOnly
Unmatched Commands - Deny
Commands Added

3) Created a group - HelpDesk with the following TACACS+ Settings
Shell (exec) is checked
Priviledge level is check with 15 as the assigned level
Assign a Shell Command Authorization Set for any network device - selected

When the user logs on to the router/switch it appears that he has full access. He can enter the enable command, config terminal command, etc. All we want him to be able to do is to issue the show command.
I have a wireless router namely D-LINK 524. i know its a prtty old router..but its never let me down ever before..but thn today i decided to play a couple of games online using the psp/ps3 and well both the devices couldnt read the access point..
Then i go onto my pc and the internet on the pc dont work either :'( so then i reboot the modem nd wifi router..but to no avail.So i unplug da routerand connect da modem directly to the pc and it worked..so i was quite stunned..nd i miss playing online..
So to trim it down the problem basically is my phone/ps3/psp cannot find my access point AND my pc doesnt work when connected through the wireless router.
I am trying to configure a 1941, but the router boots into readonly rommon . after configuring the router and copy running config to startup config, on reboot, none of the changes are saved, and boots back into readonly rommon
