Belkin F9K1002V2 Not Opening Ports

What I'm trying to do is to get my Xbox connected to the internet through my router (wired connection), but I want to have my NAT open also. But when I put in a static IP into the Xbox manually and open the ports in my router, it makes it so my Xbox can't connect to Xbox Live at all. Although, if I just leave it to the automatic setting on my Xboxs network options, I can connect just fine. But, I end up having a strict NAT type, unless I restore to factory defaults in the networking options on the Xbox.

Belkin Router N300 Model:F9K1002V2 apparently forces me to have specific LAN and WAN IPs that I have been unable to change.My ISP has been changing my IP and advising me that everything works without issue. It's true that my IP does change, but only if I am directly connected to my modem - I have a completely different IP. If my router is connected to the modem and I am connected either by Ethernet/wifi from the router, my WAN IP is displayed as my IP & the completely different IP is nowhere to be found.
The issue is that this WAN IP seems to have been banned on a game that I played on a daily basis. Game support has not been responding to my requests & I know my account on that game still exists because I am able to play it when I'm directly connected to my modem. Connecting with my modem is not an option, as there are others in my home that also need to use wifi.So, if it's not already obvious, I'm looking for a way to change my WAN IP ... without having to toss out the product and buy a new router - which I am seriously beginning to consider it.

We have a DVR here at work that has a web interface on port 100. From our internal network we just use http:192.168.100.40:100. What is the best way to set that up on cisco 5510 firewall. I've had this router for a few months after my last one died and I'm now completely unable to port forward. I follow all the steps to port forward but alas the port is still closed every single time. I've tried a few fixes in the past including disabling UPnP, using those auto port forwarding programs, and creating an exception for the port in my fire wall. Nothing has worked!

I am trying to configure a new 5505 but I am having difficulties opening ports that allow traffic in from the outside. My setup is Comcast Business Modem (w/ single static IP) -> ASA (10.0.0.1) -> (dumb) Switch -> NAS (10.0.0.10). I am attemping to open port 5001 to the NAS. I am very new to IOS so I have mostly been working in ASDM. Not sure if I am overcomplicating this for myself or what but I am stuck.

I just purchased a cisco ea4500 I have set up port forwarding for http, https, rdp. however when I run zenmap and port check it fails says port in use. I have set it up in sigle port forwarding, rang and port trigging. I tried RDP and VPN to machine that is hard wired and it fails as well. I've installed XAMPP on one of my Vista computers, and intend to use it as a server. The internal IP address of the server is A.B.C.D. The internal IP address of the DIR-615 is A.B.C.E. whatsmyip.com says that external address of the server is F.G.H.I (and so is everything else inside my network). I have Filezilla listening on port 21. I've turned Windows Firewall completely off on the server, and my ISP (Time Warner / Road Runner) says that they never block any port.I tried going to the DIR-615 using Port Forwarding, and set ports 21 & 90 to forward to A.B.C.D, for both UDP & TCP, Allow All, Always. That didn't work.I tried going to the DIR-615 using Virtual Server. I set a virtual server on port 21 to A.B.C.D, for both UDP & TCP, Allow All, Always. It made me turn off Port Forwarding, and it wouldn't let me use both 21 & 90 on the same rule, so made two rules. That didn't work either.
I tried setting A.B.C.D as a DMZ host. That still didn't work.I can ftp connect into A.B.C.D from one of the other computers in the network. People outside the network can't connect to F.G.H.I. I can't connect to F.G.H.I. from inside the network. The same is true of Apache (but ports 80, 81 & 443), Ventrilo (but ports 3784 & 6100) and MySQL (but port 3306). I figure that FTP is the easiest to test, so I've been just trying to get that to work.In FileZilla Server Options, I am bound to *, I have no filters, and my passive mode is set to "Retrieve external IP"As far as I can tell, if I've ruled out anything inside my network (by connecting internally), and I've ruled out my ISP (they don't block), then it must be the router. I think I've done port forwarding according to [URL], and it seems like it should be easy, but I've been trying forever and I can never get it to work.

I am used to setting up access-lists on outside interfaces with ip addresses that are static. I have recently been given a site that is using a dyndns.org client for name to ip address resolution on an outside interface that is dhcp assigned. I created an access-list to open up ports 41794 and 41795 to an engineering application but everytime I try to connect from the outside I get a syn timeout. The application works when inside the lan. Basically I want to allow outside connections from anywhere on the outside to go to ports 41794 and 41795. I have a cable modem hooked up to a Linksys WRT54G2 wireless router, which is hardwired to the computer I use.
I go into the router's menu by going through the standard 192.168.1.1 in the browser, and then go to Applications and Gaming. The port I am trying to open is port 25565 for both TCP and UDP. In the Start and End ports I put 25565, and for the end of the IP Address, I put the last digits of my IPv4 address (10). I used a couple of port checker tools, and it is reporting as still being closed.

I am attempting to forward port 25565 on my router, and having some trouble. I've set a static IP address as both 192.168.2.10 and 192.168.2.111, and attempted a dynamic IP address. The port forwarding page via 192.168.2.1 in the browser looks like this, with the Private IP Adress changed to whatever corresponding IP address I have set (checked with cmd /ipconfig).
After testing with multiple online port checking tools, the ports remain closed.

I just want to open up a few ports for Age of Empires 3 but no matter what I do the ports still stay closed.I have a Belkin F6D4630-4 v2 modem/router (firmware updated to 2.00.25) and I use https:[url].... to check my ports.
I've forwarded the ports 2300-2310 in my router (both TCP and UDP) using the 'virtual servers' thing.
I've disabled windows firewall.
I've disabled my AVG antivirus.
I've disabled and enabled this thing to see if it would make a difference:
"UPNP Enabling:
Allows you to turn the UPNP feature of the Router on or off. If you use applications that support UPnP, enabling UPnP will allow these applications to automatically configure the router." When I probe the ports from 2280 to 2330 using the Gibson research website, the ports I forwarded (2300-2310) say 'closed' and the others say 'stealth'. Why do they say CLOSED and not OPEN? There shouldn't be anything blocking those ports.
When I probe the ports from 2280 to 2330 with windows firewall ON, all of them say 'stealth', even though I've added those ports to the windows firewall exceptions.I just want those ports to say "OPEN" so I can join all games on Age of Empires 3 instead of coming up with the message "Failed to join game".

I'm trying to manually set up port forwarding for my Vulkano Lave media server, but my just purchased AC 900gb (model # F9k1117v2) won't take the inputs completely. I need 2 TCP ports one is 49177, the other is 56123, and one UDP for 56123. How do I successfully put in these numbers into port forwarding? Is their a plug and play setting I can use?

I just updated my F5D8233-4 ver 3000 router with the latest firmware. Now only one of the hardwired ports works (#1) and it causes the router trouble enough sometimes to make it disconnect from the cable modem. All the wifi connections (5 of them) work well and do not appear to cause any trouble. What can I do?

There is about 5 devices in my house that uses the same network. Two of them are Xbox's (One uses wireless, other uses wired). I've tried many times to open the NAT for the 2 Xbox's, but have never succeeded.I've read that enabling UPnP, will fix the problem; however I have tried that, and it does not work. If I want to open the NAT for just one Xbox, it will let me - I just port forwarded the required ports for the one Xbox. In my case, this isn't want I want.

I want to open a certain port on my router and I know it shouldn�t be a problem, just go inside of your router settings and add the port manually. But somehow I was enough smart to forget my routers username and password, now my question is my only option a hard reset of the router and deleting all the work I put in to connecting the two computers with my router (believe me I had my share of troubles connecting them with the router) or is there a way to open the port on the router from my computer without accessing my router settings.
