Belkin Routers :: How Many Simultaneous Connections Does The AC1200 Support
Nov 5, 2012
I bought this router to temporarily replace my firewall while I wait for it to be replaced. We have a training center that when running full tilt, we probably have 50 devices trying to get on the internet.
add VDSL2 (Fibre broadband) support in a future firmware update to the AC1200 Modem Router - F9J1106v1? If it's not possible to have a single modem firmware that supports both ADSL and VDSL, any separate downloads for the customer to choose depending on which type of broadband connection they have?I am in the UK, my ISP is Plusnet. They use BT Openreach infrastructure. The currently supply the same rebranded Netgear router to both their ADSL and VDSL (Fibre) customers. The only difference being the VDSL modem has custom firmware flashed on it.
I have a f9k1113 V1 or AC 1200 wireless router. I opened RDP - remote desktop to my home pc. Everytime i try to connect from the internet to my home pc the router reboots. I never get connected. It seems when the router sees that type of traffic it reboots.
Access Control on an ac1200 does not seem to flexible enough to include hours from say 8pm - 6am. On my old Linksys I would simply have multiple entries for the same MAC address but this does not seem possible.
My Comcast cable modem does not have a 2nd port needed to connect my Belkin AC1200 wireless router. Is there another way to configure this or are my options to either buy a new cable modem or try to upgrade it through Comcast?
I have two AC1200 routers? how do i connect one ac1200 to another ac1200. Only one should act as a DHCP server and broadcast wireless; the other should be simply just a hub (vs. me having to buy a separate hub). What are the correct settings and connections?
I have a Belkin AC1200 Router. It seems working properly re Internet/Wireless connections. When I connect a printer (Canon Pixma MP500) through the USB port the (USB) light doesn't turn on, nor the printer is appearing on the "available devices" (Belkin USB Print and Storage Center).
I've setup access via our ASA5510 portal which is working fine but I can't seem to connectto the ASA when there are two active connections. If there is only one, it's fine.
Problem - Unable to Connect More Than Three WEB VPN Users to PIX/ASAProblem :Only three WEB VPN clients can connect to ASA/PIX; the connection for the fourth client fails.
Solution :In most cases, this issue is related to a simultaneous login setting within the group policy.Use this illustration to configure the desired number of simultaneous logins. In this example, the desired value was 20.
ciscoasa(config)# group-policy Bryan attributes ciscoasa(config-group-policy)# vpn-simultaneous-logins 20Would this be the same thing?
If so how whould I check the existing setting in the GUI?
We are planning to use an ASA 5540 to terminate about 3000 IPSec connections. The maximum supported IPsec VPN Peers for this platform ist 5000, so this should be ok in theory.
What is a bit unclear to me is what exactly happens when (for whatever reason) all 3000 clients try to connect at once ? Perhaps it's not at once but depending on timers this could mean 3000 incoming IPsec connection within 10-20 seconds.
Will the the ASA cope with it ? I can't find any info regarding this on CCO. It's also not that easy to test/simulate.
I have a Belkin F5D7634-4 v2 (01) and when using bittorrent I cannot enable udp connections. In Virtual Server, both TCP and UDP are enabled - why won't it connect?
I'm looking to purchase one because it's one of the only two Belkin models that supports WDS. The Belkin website however, says that the F5D7234 version 1router supports it. It doesn't have the -4 at the end. The one available to buy does have the -4 at the end of the model number, but it also doesn't say what version it is. Is there more than one version of this model?
I am trying to update my F5D7234-4 G Wireless Router - Firmware and I am told No known program will open this file. This file is part of a program. What do I do?
I just bought Lenovo ideapad with window8 and touch screen, my problem is when I try to connect it through my belkin n300 is always saying restart the computer. when I plug in Ethernet cable from the router to the laptop is working fine.
Just bought a D-link DIR-652 to connect to my ISP router TG784 to manage all the connections.because the TG784 can't support many connections.yesterday I could make it till teh laptop connects via ethernet cable to the dir-652 router. but couldn't make it work wireless.have to say that my login password to the TG784 website is changed. user is "Administrator" as default.
I'm looking for a wireless router that is compatible with mobile broadband, dsl broadband and cable broadband. It should have a signal range of at least 12 metres.
I have and office that the cable modem tends to go down on the weekend. Can i setup my asa to support a second provider so that if the one connection is slow for some reason, my users could connect to the second provider instead? they would both be used at the same time most the time.
I am trying to make my computer support incoming VPN connections. I am using Windows 7 Home Premium on the computer I want to make the connection on.I am also using Verizon FioS internet (comes with default router/modem combo) to which I have the DIR-655 router connected. I am able to connect to both WiFi's fine and they work correctly.I think the Verizon router is set to block incoming VPN connections and I think this is why I cannot get anyone to be able to access my computer / internet via VPN. How I can perhaps forward ports and which settings I would need to specifically change in both routers admin settings so that I can get VPN connections to forward to my computer and be accepted.
1. Does WRT160N support 1000Mbps LAN connections ? 2. what are the differences between WRT160N and WRT120N routers? (There is no difference when I use the compare feature of the wesite).
I'm looking for a HWIC card that will support SC fiber connections for a 2811. I know of the HWIC-1GE-SFP but this one only support the LC connections.
I have a belkin router that I've been using to share internet connectivity with several devices around my home. It has happily supplied this to an Ethernet connected desktop, Ethernet connected Blu-ray player, and wireless connections to two seperate laptop computers. When I try to add one more Ethernet (wired) connection to the mix, I always run into problems. Although the router has 4 outgoing Ethernet ports, it doesn't like to do more than two. Should I buy a new router? Cables?
