View 1 Replies View RelatedN600DB - Currently configured with primary computer hardwired to router, 1 laptop via WiFi, a Network booster used by iPhone/iPads and every time I wake the primary computer I get the Router Monitor alert that my internet connection has failed. By the way, I am currently using the primary computer to post this and the Belkin Router Monitor still says my "internet connection has failed" and An Internet connection cannot be established at this time. Re-booting your router may solve this problem, but you will temporarily lose your connection during the reboot.
View 1 Replies View RelatedAm running firmware ver 1.00.19. Set up DDNS with DynDns.Org and all is well. Set up virtual server with DDNS info. Trying to connect to an IPcam (Foscam 8905W). IPcam is set up with static IP with ip outside Belkins DHCP range.
Problem: When trying to access the IPcam through the internet (DynDns) Belkin takes me right to the Belkin router Setup screen, not to the virtual server settings (IPcam). I was able to do it a couple of months ago,but not now. I may have upgraded my firmware in that time from 1.00.12.
I have a 1TB hard drive connected to my N600DB that I use as a media server to my kids Xbox... My problem is that I use this drive to back up all my data from my laptop, including movies, pictures and music. I only want to share the movies... I have over 5000 pictures alone so my router never gets to index all the movies I want to share..

I got another playmax n600HD router which I want to configure as an access point that extends my network upstairs and allows me to attach some wired devices like my ps3. I followed the basic principles of setting as access point and my locally connected ps3 and NAS are communicating but no Internet access. How the 2nd router can connect to the internet?

I've set up both bands with identical settings and I have a wireless N network adapter in my laptop, but it only ever sees the 2 Ghz SSID, never the 5 Ghz one. Shouldn't I be able to see it?
View 3 Replies View RelatedNone of my wireless devices (Windows, iphones) can see the SSID from the 5ghz channel on my E2500. I have updated the firmware and reset the router to factory defaults. Still not visible. The router is set up to broadcast the SSID under wireless settings. Also, selecting "other" under iphone>settings>wifi and entering the SSID name and password gets "could not find the network (ssid)". This was working until a couple of days ago Comcast power cycled the router to make sure my cable modem was working. Now nothing.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI just bought a N750 DB router. On boot up, the 5Ghz side will show up for about 20-30 seconds and then it just "disappears". I was even able to connect to it @ 300mb with my laptop. The 2.4Ghz shows up just fine.

View 12 Replies View RelatedI am on network with administrative rights and one computer on network is not visible in ipscanner, cannot connect with remote desktop connection. Cant even connect by typing in run command (eg. \192.168.1.10c$) The computer is ON and users have logged on it many times. This same problem happens on many other computers too, and its not permanent. After few days or so, he problem is gone, and sometimes persists after a weekend, when pc is shutdown on Friday. Operating system is windows xp sp2 and there is no third party firewall on remote computers.

After upgrading the firmware, I found that some of the administration pages do not appear to load correctly in internet explorer version 9.0.5. For example, the ADMINISTRATION -> MANAGEMENT page has data but to see the data, I have to scroll down about 3 pages. All five entries under STATUS do not have any data visible at all which is typical for most of the other administration pages. An image of the Status Router page is inserted below. I have logged in to the administration pages with an old version of Firefox 3.0.14 and the pages are visible. The operating system that I am running is Windows 7 64bit.
I haven't run across any other entries like on this or other sites.
My PC is wireless connected to my modem, My X-Box is wired to my modem, PC detects x-box in home network, X-Box doesn't see PC when running connection test, X-Box however does connect to web. When I plug in an Ethernet Cable from my Modem to my PC the X-Box instantly detects my PC. I can't figure out how to make my x-box communicate with my PC when it's it's half wireless / half wired.

One XP machine is a netbook, it's rarely on and presents no issues.Here's the problem I'm having with the other XP machine:-My Win XP PC does not show up in the list of networked computers on any of the other machines on my home network.-But I can still access the shared folders by going to start and typing in \computer name.Win 7 will open a folder containing all the shared folders and I have no problem accessing (and modifying) any of its contents.-I also can access the PC via a VNC client set up on another machine and even have ports properly configured to access it from out of the house-I use this PC as a server to stream music to my iPhone via subsonic. Then, for a few weeks, my computer could no longer connect to the said network. It really puzzles me on how this was the case when the laptops and other devices of my other colleagues can connect to the same network, so has my smartphone. To the same router I connected EA 4500 to which I wired connected Network Hard Disc at which I store music, photos and films, which I can not access via TV set box. If I connect Hard Disc direct to the modem router to which set box is connected, access works fine.

I have a Lenovo t42 with with Windows XP SP3.
The "Local area network connection" is not visible in Network Connections. The Ethernet controller and adapter driver is properly install (no yellow signs). All Network services are also running properly.
The network is working fine, and getting an IP address from DHCP but has to restart the DHCP service once after booting.
I cannot map a network drive over a VPN. I am asked for login credentials, but no credentials are required, per the IT guy. He says that it's a Port 47 issue. How do I allow traffic via Port 47? Router F5D7231-4

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm having a problem connecting with wireless card model number f9L1101v1 to a router model number F5D7234-4. the computer is dell dimensions 4400 desktop pc running windows xp, everything seems to be working correctly. i can see my wireless connection, signal strength is full, but when i enter the network key which i have confirmed is correct it will not connect. it goes to the window where it shows it trying to connect but after about 2 minutes the window disappears with no explanation for connection failure.the network key was confirmed through a laptop that runs on the same router.

The router is showing a solid green light, and the laptop recognizes that a solid Belkin wireless connection is out there. I cannot for the life of me remember the network key and/ or pass phrase I originally set. No, I did not tape this info to the underside of the router as suggested in Belkin instructions.
