i have a bbsm server I'm bringing up on line. Trying to add the first site, i configured everything i think right, but the client gets a network error page, and the event log shows:
EventID:28
Source:BBSM_AtNotify
Description:
Failed to locate client ip:10.233.1.10 MAC: 00 00 00 00 00 db on any network device.
i did a debug on the AP1200 (12.3(4)JA) i am using and see that the bbsm is talking to the bbsm. I just can't figure out what i am doing wrong.
We have an old BBSM server (BBSM-1190-K9) with win2000, that we hopefully will replace soon with ISE.I have tried to upgrade the memory in the server but the problem is that the server refuse to start after I have changed the memory. The original memory capsule is Apacer 512 MB ECC PC2-5300CL5, and we have tried with this.
Corsair Server DDR2 PC5300/667MHz ECC Reg. CL5 2GBand MT18HTF12872PY-667D2 BTC 1GB 240p PC2-5300 CL5 18c .There is no response at all on the screen, not even any pre boot messages or BIOS . Power on button only blinks slowly.
cisco 878 configured to accept client vpn requests. From client prospective people get error 412 and they can't connect. Not sure what s wrong, following configuration and debug isakmp. Autentication is through a radius server.
I am having this problem trying to connect to my university network trough the vpn client from a pc running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit: the client connects but I have no Internet access. I first believed that the problem was related to the fact that I had ZoneAlarm Free Antivirus+Firewall installed, but I made several steps, including the complete removal of the ZoneAlarm product, and I still have the same problem.
Here's what I see in the log:
Cisco Systems VPN Client Version 5.0.07.0290 Copyright (C) 1998-2010 Cisco Systems, Inc. All Rights Reserved. Client Type(s): Windows, WinNT Running on: 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1
[code]....
Using the same client (32 bit version) in another pc of my lan which runs Windows XP and that had never ZoneAlarm installed on it, I have no problems. Also, using Shrew Soft Vpn Client 2.1.7 on the problematic pc I can connect to vpn without problems, so I am really stuck trying to understand what's wrong with Cisco Vpn Client.
I have a Cisco AnyConnect 2.5.2006 failing installation on an upgrade from 2.4.1012. Win7 64-bit.RunOnce exists in the registry and I even added everyone/full perms to it to make sure it wasn't a perms issue. (it seems everyone recommends checking this key exists)I've cleaned the system and the registry multiple time for anything AnyConnect related. The installation 'appears' to fail on the installation of the 64-bit virtual adapter
I have setup the WLC to authenticate to a MS Server2008 NPS for a WPA2/AES SSID. The connection is successful, but client authentication fails for wrong EAP-type. I believe this indicates a Windows7 client issue. What is the required client setup to satisfy the MS NPS?
I have a problem when trying to access from a workstation on the internal network to an external FTP server using Explicit FTPS. After the server requires the client TLS Authentication the client inits TLS but the connection is closed by timeout.
I have disabled the FTP inspection on the firewall and I have opened some high ports from the Internet to the test workstation (ACL and NAT rules), but without results.
If I try to connect from a workstation to the FTP server using a direct Internet connection I can access the FTP server without problems, so I think the problem is in the ASA.
we are using Cisco VPN client to access our corporate network.I have 5 new notebooks Dell Latitude E6410 OS Windows 7 Professional x64, with identical hardware configuration.I downloaded Cisco VPN Client 5.0.07.440 (64 bit) and installed it on all notebooks. It works fine on 3 notebooks, while on 2 notebooks the VPN connection fails with error:
Secure VPN collection terminated locally by the client. Reason 403: Unable to contact the security gateway
We use a smartcard for VPN access (etoken from Aladdin)
Here an extract from Cisco log:
Cisco Systems VPN Client Version 5.0.07.0440Copyright (C) 1998-2010 Cisco Systems, Inc. It seems the problem is in the certificate, but I verified and Cisco client says it's ok. It's also the only valid certificate in MMC->Certificates->Personal.Furthermore, also using other smartcard (etokens) of other users it doesn't work.
Need securing a wireless environment in a hotel? The SSID has to be broadcast of course but how can we protect guests from man in the middle attacks, etc.? Currently the environment is all AP1200s with no hardware upgrades in the near future. There is also a 2811 router in place but nothing else. We would love to be able to force users to authenticate with a password in order to get out to the Internet as well.
I have a Linksys WRT310N v1 with firmware v1.0.10 build 002Jul 19, 2010 My router fails to renew it's DHCP lease from my cable provider, causing internet access to drop. I can still access my cable modem at 192.168.100.1, but I must do a "IP Address Release" then "IP Address Renew" to get back internet access. The router works fine otherwise.
I had to reinstall the hardware for a driver for my internet connection. Now it's asking me for the security key and we don't remember it and can't locate it. How can I find it, over-ride it, or establish a new one?
Is there an easier way to locate what an ACL, prefix-list, etc is applied to?ometimes its a bit tedious especially on some devices with a lot of config. I would like to see what route-maps a prefix-list is applied to[CODE]
Trying to upgrade my Wireless LAN controller model 4404, I'm running 4.1.190.4 code and want to upgrade to 6.0.202. Looking at the release notes for 6.0.202 and the compatibility matrix, the matrix indicates I two intermediate loads first. One is 4.1.192.35m and the other is 6.0.182.0 then I can load 6.0.202 code. My problem is I can't find the 4.1.92.35m code. Looking at the software download the highest 4.1 folder has is 4.1.185.0. where to find the 4.1.192.35m code for 4404 WLC?
There are two access points of Cisco AIR-AP1142 (4dbi, 2.4GHz). Settle down at height of 12 meters and at distance of 36 meters from each other. Whether will cover access points a zone on the earth in between? And on what distance on the sides?
I purchased a wireless usb adaptor from maplin (U.K. Electronic store), the device is home branded and I lost the driver cd.It auto detects as rtl81885 but I located the driver for windows xp pro sp 3 but it says it's not the right driver and I'm unable to contact the store at this moment as they're closed.
i've got a 48 port switch that's hidden somewhere that I can't find. So far, I've found 2 other switches in the hanging ceiling so there is a good chance it could be there. How I can see what devices are directly attached to this switch(I've access to it's management functions)? I figure if I can find a directly attached computer I can at least just do a wire trace.
I have a issue with our ASA firewall. I have a firewall which has inside, outside and DMZ interface. I have VPN clients that connect correctly and can acces the internal network. However for the profiles I have setup to connect via VPN to the DMZ network fails with the following messages.
I'm trying to set up an RV042 as a gateway for our home network. I've cloned the MAC address of the cable modem attached to WAN1, and have set up WAN1 to obtain an IP automatically. The System Summary page shows under WAN Status that WAN1 has been assigned an IP address in the right range for Comcast, the provider. The default gateway address looks good, and the DNS server is, in fact, Comcast's main DNS server for this area.
However, when I go to System Management > Diagnostic, the router is unable to resolve basic domain names (e.g., www.cisco.com) or ping addresses outside the LAN. I can ping the router itself successfully. Attempts to access the web through the router fail on domain name look.
we have a asa that block some ip dresse with this reason ( Drop-reason:(no-adjacency ) No valid adjacency ) and when i check the log i found this message for the same blocked ip adresse when they try to make dmvpn tunnel wyh the hub . Routing failed to locate next hop for UDP from MPLS:10.0.104.53/500 to MPLS:10.5.250.251/500 i inform you that the ip adresse of the hub (10.5.250.251 ) is connected in DMVPN Interface not MPLS ,and tha ASA is configured with na nat-cotrol command .nat is not configured.
I have an inspiron 3520 pre installed with Windows 8. the problem is that I cannot locate where to connect to a wi-fi network. it never appears on the networks window at the taskbar. where exactly can i find it?
I I try to ping a Host in the ITCS Network (i.e. 192.168.50.10) from the STI Interface I get the error that it failes to locate next hop. I'm quite confused buceause this network are direct attached, so the routes should be fine:
6Nov 30 201215:01:16110003192.168.3.990192.168.50.100Routing failed to locate next hop for icmp from NP Identity Ifc:192.168.3.99/0 to STI-Netz:192.168.50.10/0
I have two interfaces connected to two different subnet - interface 0/1 = 10.100.1.0/24 , interface0/2 = 10.100.113.0/24 as they are direct connected to the ASA i assume i dont need to add an static route but when i try to ping from one interface to the other (ping inside 10.100.113.1) i get "Routing failed to locate next hop".
