I have a problem with ASA5510 CSC10 license renewing. Initially, we had CSC license with 500 seats, and renewed it to 250 seats. After that every time it shows that license expires day before today.(for example if today is 4 April it show that license expires on 3 April).
Clicking on "Check Status Online" didn't work. What can correct this problem ?
I have an ASA 5510 Try to add a new certifcate to the exsiting trustpoint or create a new trustpoint and migrate my VPNs over to that.

I’ve noticed that the 3DES is disabled, do I need to order another license to use 3DES or not ?Also, I need 2 ~ 5 branches to connect simultaneously and have VPN access on their laptops to the main branch via vpn software, which VPN software I should use and is our license enough or I should order another license.
I recently picked up two ASA5510s (ASA5510-SSL50-K9 & ASA5510-SEC-BUN-K) with intentions of creating an Active/Standy configuration. I'm receiving the error message "Mates' license (2 SSL VPN Peers) is not compatible with my license (50 SSL VPN Peers)", but I was under the impression that I didn't have to buy idential SSL VPN licenses post 8.2 in an Active/Standby configuration. am I missing a step that enables the license transfer(sharing?) feature to work correctly before the failover will build correctly?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm currently reconfiguring an ASA5510 installation to a HA setup with a second 5510. The old 5510 has an "AnyConnect for Mobile" license which isn't being used. So we upgrade that one to a SecPlus License to enable failover posibilities and we bought a new 5510 also with a SecPlus license. When I'm trying to enable failover I get the message that my mate hasn't got the "AnyConnect for Mobile" license. I know for failover both devices must be exactly the same (at first i thougth that the AnyConnect license would be lost when upgrading to SecPlus). So now I'm wondering and searching for solutions to remove the AnyConnect license (because we don't use it).

View 5 Replies View RelatedI've been running a cisco asa 5505 for quite some time and it has been running fine, now all of a sudden it starts to renew it's outside dhcp adress like every 2 hours. I dont think it's the ISP since I have another device connected also using dhcp to the same ISP and it doesnt renew itself, it's just the ASA. Rebooting it, makes it pick up an adress straight away. The interface seems to be up, the GUI just reports "no ip adress" and then the ASA get's a new IP after about 10-15 min without one. Pressing the renew IP adress button in the GUI throws an error.

WAN Internet interface is physically connected to cable modem - Motorola SBV6120E. Setup as DHCP server. Cisco RVS4000 is obtaining DHCP public IP without any issue, the problem is that the connection drop every 24 hours and I need to release/renew DHCP each day to be able to communicate after 24 hours. After I loose connection I need to release DHCP, the WAN interface goes down and I need to renew DHCP then. I receive the same IP address and connection is againg UP and working.
tried to load new firmware and also setup the router with default configuration, but without any change. as there is no auto-reboot function, it is really annoying to log into managment interface each day. I also loose remote access after 24 hours, so I am not able to access the rotuer from outside. My local provider do not support static public IP on WAN, therefore I have to use DHCP.

Having browsed the support forums and Google - it seems I need the 3DES license. I have obtained an activation key from Cisco and applied it to my ASA 5505 however I get a warning about the device is licensed for a higher software level. the license on the ASA is Security plus. When I apply the activation key from Cisco most of the features are disabled.

I have 10 user license for Cisco ASA, i have to use this ASA for client connectivity. Can i do NAT of more than 10 users with this license? What i understand is NO.
But as per Below explaination looks like, i can if i am not doing default routing? Actually i just need to add a specific Route towards client DMZ interface on my ASA, no default route, so can i use more than 10 concurrent sessions with this license?
Do I need the security plus license to do HA with two 5520's?I was told by our purchasing department that the 5520 was supposed to be able to do HA out of the box, but when I look I see only the VPN + license. Does that mean I can download the security plus license? Or do I even need it on the 5520.
