i got an error while connecting to my PIX (515e) via ssh connection there is an error message appears (The server has disconnected with error, server message reads: Internal Error) and at the console session at the time time, the following message appears also (process_create: out of memory)

I tried to install client locally on the server and connect it that way with no luck. CSM server runs on Win 2008, firewall disabled.
View 0 Replies View RelatedMy roommate has just gotten a second hand laptop and he's trying to connect it to the Wireless network so that he can browse the internet from his room.However, although all the settings are correct, attempting to connect to the network loops.It comes up showing the Wireless Networks available, I select the network and click connect, it then asks for the encryption key. I enter the key and hit connect again, it comes up with the 'Connecting' pop-up and then loops back to the Available Networks screen again.There are no error messages, it just goes back to the starting screen and it hasnt connected.The Laptop in question is a Lenovo T60 with a Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG card.The router is a TP-Link TD-W8960N.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a Pix 515E with a VPN setup. I recently tried to connect Cisco VPN Client and get the following error: "Secure VPN Connection terminated locally by the client. Reason 412: The remote peer is no longer responding" I have previously been able to connect to this VPN using Cisco VPN Client without issue. Below is a copy of my config and VPN Client log & debug logs from Pix. We have Newwave Communications Cable internet, which i just found out the the ISP has recently implemented DOCSIS 3.0. (i'm not sure if that matters).

I purchased a WRT110 wireless router several weeks ago. Used it with my WPC55AG with no problems at all. I liked the wireless-N, so I decided to upgrade to a wireless-N notebook card and purchased a WPC100. I can always connect to the router with 100% signal strength. However, when trying to access the Internet, sometimes I can connect to websites, but I regularly get an error message that Internet Explorer cannot connect to the internet, even though the signal strength is still 100%.
Tried going back to my WPC55AG and do not get any connection error messages. Tried connecting to my router with my PSP and do not get any connection error messages. Connected to another wireless router that didn't have WPA or WEP using my WPC100 and didn't get any connection error messages..

Have a strong suspicion that it is a hardware failure (since asdm has worked and have tried to restart the box) can not see any errors with any show commands, but could it be a RAM error .

The server's IPMI is bound to one of its two physical interfaces, which I've connected to Ethernet 1 on the firewall. The interface has the following configuration:

Currently, my customer has 2 units of Cisco PIX 515E running on Active/Standby mode. As for the heartbeat link, there are 2 dedicated switches placed in between both the Cisco PIX 515E i.e. FW1 --> SW1 --> SW2 --> FW2.
My customer will be changing both the Cisco PIX 515E to Cisco ASA 5510. Now, they are asking me, since they will be using Cisco ASA 5510 eventually, can the heartbeat link be a direct UTP cross cable or must the 2 switches in between still exist?
I remember I have tested this before, few years back, in the event I were to pull out the UTP cross cable that's connecting both the Cisco ASA 5510 Firewalls directly (without any switches in between), the Active/Standby mode still works fine. It doesn't go bad whereby both the Cisco ASA 5510 suddenly becomes Active/Active, and causes network issue.
Are switches required for the heartbeat link in a Cisco ASA environment or can a direct UTP cross cable connection be adequate.
I had been working on our client servers through Cisco VPN using internet datacard. But from past 3 weeks after logging into Cisco VPN using my username/password, when I try to connect to any of the servers, it is giving connection timed out error.
Whereas, my team members across other locations are able to connect to the servers using my VPN username/password.
I thought there might be some issue with my laptop or internet datacard. I got my laptop formatted, even tried out with fresh new laptops & new internet datacards, but the issue remains same.
I have tried using vpn_5.0.06.0160-k9 & vpnclient-5.0.05.0290-k9 to connect but issue did not get resolved.
My Linksys WRT120N router was working fine for all of 1 and 1/2 months and suddenly it stopped making the internet connection. At first nothing could access the internet but now that I've reset the router (via the little reset button in the back) my Kindle can access the wireless, but of course no password etc. I actually don't know how to put back the username and password for it. When router is connected: When I troubleshoot the connection by clicking on "Repair Connection" it takes about 2-5 mins "obtaining a new network address" then I get an error saying "The wired connection to your router was not automatically repaired. X Local network: Not connected.

Sometimes, either browsing from my computer, iPad or iPhone, I sometimes get a "can't connect to server" error, and it's not just a few forums here and there, it is a lot of them. But if I give them 5 or 10 minutes they will come. Imkmow that this isn't a normal up issue with sites servers actually being down. I thought it was a Google chrome issue, but it's been happening on safari. It hasn't started till we switched our Internet plan to 3mbps and a new router.

View 11 Replies View RelatedAfter making some physical changes to my home network (which had been running for sometime without incident) my desktop machine stopped (home built MSI X58 Platinum MB) talking to the network. I get "media not connected" even though I am connected, and the connection works for any other computer I attach. I get indication of proper physical connection at both ends (router and computer ethernet port), however I get no connection and the default 169 .... IP address. It does not matter if I create a fixed IP address in the router and set the ip address of the port to correspond. I have tried all the ip resets, stack resets, remove and reinstall the network ports, etc., to no avail. Connecting directly to the cable modem did not work. I even installed a new buss ethernet card with its own drivers and I get the same 'media not connected'.

My laptop will not connect through my router anymore. I'm getting the message ( Cannot communicate with Primary DNS server (192.168.1.254). It works fine with an ethernet cable. I have a WII that uses the router also and I can watch a Netflix movie on it so the router seems to be working. My desktop computer is working fine through a DSL connection. The laptop is a Gateway and is running Vista.

I confused with terms 'maximum supported vlans' and 'maximum locally supported vlans'. If switch is supporting vlans 1-4094 means it should also allow to create locally. Otherwise how they will pass through the switch trunks without local creation.
What does this error message mean? What is wrong? Appears when adding a new One-To-One NAT rule. The first rule is OK. When I try to add a rule nr. 2, this error message occures.
