i have a problem with a 4006 switch, when the poer goes out and comesback, the switch doesn't boot, you have to get in the console and type boot, the config register is 0x102, i try to change it but it did not let me, said somethong like usage, what can i do to configure the booting automatically

My existing 4006 chassis is using Supervisor III (WS-X4014). I have another 4506 chassis using Supervisor IV (WS-X4515) and a Net flow Services Card (WS-F4531) build on top of it.
I need Net flow Services Card in 4006, so can I just replace the Supervisor IV (WS-X4515) used in Cisco 4006? Is it compatible with 4006?
I have a Catalyst 4006 with Supervisor II engine. I have 48 port 10/100/1000 blades installed in it for connection to my servers. I am having a lot of problems with performance when connecting servers that are using 100 MB NICs. The speed of the connection is really bad. I have attempted setting the ports and NICs to 100MB Full duplex instead of auto-detect, but still get the same results.
I also have a 10/100 quad-port card installed in a NetApp filer. All four ports are trunked together and connect to 4 ports in the Catalyst. The ports in the Catalyst are trunked using the Port Channel feature of the CatOS. When I look at the port statistics on 3 of the 4 ports from the quad-card, there are a ton of runts and errors (both transmit and receive). The 4th port is fine, no errors.
Is it possible to enable login by http (web interface) to catalyst 4006 switch with WS-C4006 Software, Version NmpSW: 6.3(5) ?

The reason for this is bonding, so all 4 ports are bonded, but I have two servers that need to send a heartbeat between the two server hence the second IP, and the other IP address to send/recieve.

I have access to a Supervisor III (WS-X4014), which will provide OSPF support. Question is, are there any gotchas to shutting down the switch, replacing Supervisor Engines and then powering up? What about the flash card? On my current system, it appears that I am only using bootflash: , which is where the IOS resides (see below). Since my startup config is in nvram and my IOS is in bootflash, what's the purpose of the flash card in slot0: ? and where does NVRAM and bootflash actually live on a 4006 ( on the Supervisor Engine?)

[code] So can we put some ports on different switches in, let`s say vlan 50, with different ips? For example, Port 0/3 on Switch 1 and 0/8 on Switch 2, but keeping the ip of the "old" vlan? The only thing that is happening is the power and network traffic led flashes and the active led is off. So my question is that is this symptom a hardware or software problem and is it fixable with either new parts; or is my firewall dead. Currently working on a personal project to diskless boot several PCs of different configurations. Trying to use software called CCBoot only because it seams to be the easiest way of uploading the disk images to the server. My problem is that when booting the test machine it will not load from the TFTP server (times out).168.0.2 and is on a network with a Cradlepoint MBR95 router which provides DHCP. The server handles one of my ISPs and the router the other, but I don't think that will be a problem. CCBoot support highly recommends I use the software for my DHCP, but can use an existing DHCP server[CODE]
