Currently working on a personal project to diskless boot several PCs of different configurations. Trying to use software called CCBoot only because it seams to be the easiest way of uploading the disk images to the server. My problem is that when booting the test machine it will not load from the TFTP server (times out).168.0.2 and is on a network with a Cradlepoint MBR95 router which provides DHCP. The server handles one of my ISPs and the router the other, but I don't think that will be a problem. CCBoot support highly recommends I use the software for my DHCP, but can use an existing DHCP server[CODE]
I'm somewhat new to networking so bare w/ me if I get some of the verbiage incorrect. We are trying to upgrade our 2960G's to a new version of code (c2960-lanbasek9-mz.150-1.SE.bin).After doing:switch(config)#boot system c2960-lanbasek9-mz.150-1.SE.binand a write mem, we did a reload, but the new version didn't take. We realized that the boot loader version is too old to accept this newer IOS. Here is the how version output:[CODE]

I have the following Pix 515E Firewall, that has been working good for a few years. But suddenly, the Pix stop booting up. The only thing that is happening is the power and network traffic led flashes and the active led is off. So my question is that is this symptom a hardware or software problem and is it fixable with either new parts; or is my firewall dead. I suspect that it is a hardware problem since the active led doesn't light up. I cann't even enter the ROM Moniter mode.

I have a 6500 that keeps booting into Rommon, even though it has a valid image file on the sup-bootdisk, and the config register is 0x2102. When it reloads I see this on the screen: [code] It seems like the repeating error is "error - on read during ELF program load". I can boot the system off of a CF card, but I'd like to use the sup-bootdisk.
Yesterday I've faced a Problem that is not letting me boot with the new IOS.
Actually I'm planning upgrade IOS which supports SSH. As part of plan I've downloaded the new IOS image and uploaded via TFTP server to the switch.
After uploading to the switch. I've verified image and MD5 hash also. Everthing is fine. Then after I set the boot variable for the newly uploaded Image.
When I'm rebooting the Device it is not taking the new IOS. It's booting with the OLD image. Even It's not showing any error message while rebooting (ACTIVITY FILE ATTACHED FOR YOUR REFERENCE) I can't take risk by deleting the old IOS.
I tried to upgrade the IOS on my internal AP and now I am in a reboot cycle. I have tried to manually boot the old and new IOS images from the rommon but neither are working. here is the output I am getting:
i have 2504 series controller and today its stuck (before was working fine) when i restart it (remove power and power on again) its stuck here (see in snap)
