Cisco :: LMS 4.0 Device Credentials Verification Report?

I have a problem when doing this report. If I do a device credentials report on a user defined group (40 devices) 11 of these devices fails to connect via SSH. I can make an SSH connection to all 11 devices from the CiscoWorks server, but 11 devices still fails on the report

I am trying to generate bug summary report from RME but once job completes i can not see/view report. whenever I am trying to click on view under job result to see reports I get apache/http error. snap shot is attached for reference.
 
I am running LMS 3.2.1 and RME 4.3.2.. struggle alot to reach this stage where I can see report are getting generated for PSIRT and bug summary..but can not see report for Bugs though I can see PSIRT report...

Cisco :: NTUs Doesn't Report Any Error And Connection Seems To Be Fine

I'm experiencing problems on two cisco switches connected on trunked ports via leased line. The remote site is connected to our main site and I'm getting some weird behavior.Only 2 VLANs are currently trunked and we're experiencing some intermittent connection issues. When sites are connected via trunked port everything works on VLAN 102 and everything on VLAN 101 except there are no internet connectivity, where hosts cannot ping default gateway or proxy.Switches connected are C2960 and C3550 with configuration which was working for 5 years without any issues. BT NTUs does not report any errors and connection seems to be fine. If I interconnect sites via switchport which is on VLAN 101 (staff vlan) everything works fine except student looses the services... because VLAN 102 traffic is not forwarded across the link.

I have installed LMS 4.0.1 again. Now LMS is running on a Windows 2008 R2, 64 bit. Using Custom Reports from Reports> Report Designer> User Tracking to create an end host report I get this error message: "The syntax is not valid: the system cannot find the path specified". Anyway, the report is created but I’m not able to edit or delete: it is not listed on Available Custom Reports.

Everytime I try to use the Cisco.com device update I receive the error in the attached file.
 
I'm not sure if this is related to me not configuring the proxy settings since we do not use a proxy server.
 
I've configured our CCO username and password only. Is there a known issue with using the web GUI to get updates using the cisco.com option?

I'm trying to configure ACS 5.1 as radius server for a catalyst switch but i can't make it work.I keep on getting the "11033 Selected Service type is not Network Access" error message.
 
Tacacs works fine but radius does not. Any sample device administration config to use with RADIUS?it seem the service type does not work with radius in this scenario ( radius + device admin).

I am trying to move a device from the Default location to a sub group and get the following message when I try (either with IE or Firefox)

it also gives me the same error if I try and change the Device type from default to a sub group. I'm sure I could do this previously. The ACS build is (VMWARE install):

Cisco AAA/Identity/Nac :: ACS 5.1 Managed Device Count Exceeded Error

I've just installed ACS 5.1 and noticed that it seems to count managed devices differently than previous versions.
 
I have a 500 count license which should be fine as I have about 100 devices which will use ACS for TACACS.  On ACS 3.x and 4.x, I would set up AAA clients by using a wild card for the subnets that host our routers/switches, say 192.168.1.0/24, 172.16.1.0/24 and 10.1.1.0/24.  when I do this with ACS 5, I get a Managed Device Count Exceeded error messasge becasue of the potential of more than 500 AAA clients.  It seems to be counting every IP address in the subnet as a managed device, even if there are only a handful actually in use.  Is there a way around this short of having to manually enter (and maintain) the exact IP Address of every managed switch and rotuer which will use the ACS server for TACACS?

Error Message Popped Up - Unable To Uninstall Device?

So I was having trouble loading a game on my computer and I was scrolling through forums looking for an answer and one answer that supposively worked for a lot of people was to unisntall and reinstall my network card.IT told me to go to devices -> right click network adapter -> uninstall -> then scan for hardwarer changes to reinstall When I clicked uninstall an error message popped up and said "Unable to uninstall device because device is required on startup" and then it apparently just uninstalled it anyway and it showed back up after I clicked "scan for hardware changes".Now ever since, everytime I try and connect to the internet my computer says "Limited or no connectivity" and I'm unable to access the internet on that computer, the computer I am on now can connect just fine, so it must have something to do with the network card that i supposively unisntalled.

Cisco Application :: ACE 4710 Device Manager ERROR In Loading Configuration

When trying to view the status in the Monitor tab and the Config tab after you log in to the ACE 4710 Device Manager A5 (1.2) management GUI tool, I could not retrieve the status data and the following message appeared.
 
"Faild to upload Adimn configuration: There is error in loading configuration: Error in loading RMO config from DB:The given index XXXXXXXXX.bak does not match table index definition"
 
Other features include all normal, so I can get information by using the CLI.In addition, this configuration is redundant in the Primary / Secondary, this event occurs only on the Primary.

Other:-XXXXXXXXX.bak is a backup that you created in the checkpoint, and it does not already exist.

-When I'm logged on to the GUI, the above message is displayed in the status bar always.

-It was not recovered by ACE restart it.

-When I try to create the same configuration in a different environment, it did not reproduce.

We have currently LMS 3.2 installed. We know have some new switches C2960-48PST-L that are not supported in CiscoView and Common Services.When trying an update in Software Center | Device Update, we receive an error message:Error while downloading package information from Cisco.com for the selected products. See the C:/PROGRA~1/CSCOpx/log/psu.log file for details.
 
The psu.log file shows the following:

so upgraded the patch cwcs33x-win-CSCto46927-0.zip and restarted the demeon as read in the read me file for the patch.Now the job execution status is always shows running, its neither fail nor pass.

My customer recently deployed WLCs and WCS in their environment. However, recently they experienced slow performance. To futher finding out the root cause, I generated the 802.11 counters report from the WCS and noticed the following parameters is shown. Tx/Rx Fragment Count/Sec and FCS Error Count/Sec
 
1. Can I make the assumptions that the overall transfer of packet rate in that interval is the Total of Tx/Rx Fragment Count/Sec and FCS Error Count/Sec?
 
2. If the output rate of Tx/Rx Fragment Count/Sec and FCS Error Count/Sec are the same, does it mean that 50% of the packet are corrupted and this high FCA Error Count/Sec will cause performance degradation to the wireless througphput?
 
3. What is the baseline of the FCS Error Count/Sec that is acceptable? As for the case with wired, 1% error rate is acceptable. Will wireless have the same baseline?

Cisco :: LMS 4.0 IP SLA Availability Report Is Incorrect?

I'm polling a few thousand locations using IP SLA, I have responder enabled on all destinations, and I'm using 60 byte voice packets with a QoS policy.When I run an IP SLA Summary availability report, I have a bunch of locations showing 9% availability 8.5% etc. When I go to the actual collector, and pull up a graph of the same time period, that graph shows 100% availability.
 
Same collector, same data, just different views giving completely different results. I have to assume that the IP SLA summary report is wrong, these sites were not down 90% of the time.
 
Just a random though to go with that, I do have the IP SLA to only pull information during the locations operational hours, and I did pull the report from midnight to 11am, the statistics should have been gathered for 4 hours of the 11, which is still higher than 9%, and I would expect all of my locations to report like that, not just a few hundred.
 
All of the devices are similar in hardware and IOS, and I have verified on a handful that IP SLA responder is enabled, and I see the connections, I have also verified the source configuration via command line.

I am running CiscoWorks LMS 4.0.1 since 6 months and I wanted to generate today a report about the interface utilization on 2 Cisco switches (Catalyst 3750G). The corresponding job is created, it runs and then i get "succeeded with info" in the "Run Status" column. When I want to click then on the "View Report" link, I get the following error: "Could not generate the report. Either data is not available for the specified duration or the report job failed."
 
I tried the same procedure with 2 other switches but I have got the same result.

We have a new 4507R-E Switch which RME keeps reporting as "CONFIG_CHANGE" each evening. When you click to see the change, the only thing that has changes is the "ntp clock-period".
 
However, we have configured "ntp clock-period" as an exclude command in RME Config Managment.

It can be the name under which the LMS  application is running, or the name using which the change was performed on the  device. #The User Name field may not always reflect the user name. The  User Name is reflected only when: A config change was performed using LMS. #A config change was performed outside of LMS, but the  network has username-based AAA security model, wherein authentication is  performed by an AAA server, which could be TACACS/RADIUS or local.

Just looked at report after having upgraded to WCS 7.0.  It is reporting that SSH is disabled.  It is enabled on the controller.  The timeout value was set to zero for telnet access.  No indication was given that the telnet timeout value also affected SSH as well.  I set the timeout value to a non-zero number and reran the task that generated the report.  The Enable SSH line item on the report no longer shows up.
