Sep 14, 2012We have Cisco Prime 4.2 installed Windows 2008 R2 server, I am facing problem when I am going under Report>Fault & events or any other section, the browser gets stuck in loading page and become unresponsive. If I restrart the Daemon manager service it works fine for some time and again start giving problem in two or three hours time interval.I also face the same problem when I go to Admin > Job browser window.Does any one face the same problem,I have changed the host name of thserver using script and also generated new SSL certificate and I tried with diffrent browsers but problem is still persisting.

May 9, 2013I'm currently running CiscoWorks LMS 4.0.1 on Windows 2003 under VMware and just got upgrade licensing for Prime Infrastructure 1.2. I am assuming that I will need to upgrade the current server to Prime LMS 4.2 in order to ensure that data migration to Prime Infrastructure goes well. I am planning to follow Cisco's recommendation to run Prime LMS and Prime Infrastructure in parallel for a time and migrate individual functions.
My real question is about Syslog handling. All of the managed devices are currently sending Syslog data to LMS. As a last step in the migration, is it possible to change the IP address of the Prime Infrastructure server to replace the Prime LMS server so that the Prime Infrastructure server will just start getting all the Syslog data, or do I need to go change hundreds of managed devices to point to a new address?

Sep 10, 2012It started when I couldn't connect to a specific website for 2 days. I had to change my IP to get on again, and when I did I got a message from the admin saying that I had been blocked automatically because my browser was using upwards of 200 connections at a time. He made me check all the browser settings for it, and everything was still set at default. I didn't download any program or add-on, I did nothing special. It started out of the blue. I did virus scans, I reinstalled firefox and opera (the browsers I use). At this point I have no clue what the problem is.

Jan 28, 2013Let me start with what the problem is. Some pages like google open very fast while some takes a lot of time and sometimes do not load at all.I tried pinging certain websites along with mygame website mabinogi.nexon.net and the request timed out. I tried a few solutions
1) Switched browser and it didn't seem to work (Even the client I use for the game Mabinogi disconnects every 5 to 10 mins)
2) Tried changing the DNS to OpenDNS and it still didn't work
3) Tried using network on safe mode with networking and still I got the same result. That is some pages take a lot of time while others load soon.

Oct 12, 2012I am experiencing the same problems except different setup. I use avg and spybot as my security.The problem is that I cannot use any browser be it firefox or chrome or IE. I can't even update my avg or spybot. I can type in my router and get that. I have a laptop, which I am using now, that is working fine with the internet. Even my 360 is able to connect so I can watch netflix.I have "flushed" the connection, I have used winsock, and macshift. I'm running AVG and Spybot with spybot coming back clean but I have a gut feeling it won't work.I have run sfc /scannow and there is some files missing. I inserted my original disk into the cd-rom and refuses to detect the cd after so many tries. I reset the router and computer several times. - Both sites worked in the recent past. One stopped working, then some days after, the other did too. Now both sites (eventually) load as simple hmtl but do not function.
- On screen notification from fantasy.premierleague.com asks me to 'enable javascript to continue using site'
- Javascript is ticked as 'Enabled' on all browsers.
- This problem only present on my Windows 7 laptop and not on either of the other 2 machines which share my home modem
- the problem is present on any internet connection my machine uses (i.e. work wifi, local cafe's wifi)
- the problem persists with antivirus turned off (AVG)
- I've performed a full Firefox reset as per mozilla instructions
- The problem persists when I disable Firefox add-ons (the only add-on I have is ad-blocker) - but again, the problem persists across all browsers
- I'm not using any internet funny business (such as IP blockers or proxy servers)
