i tried to create a customized web-authentication page that will re-direct any user to the web-page once they are connected to the network.
The problem is, i just cant attach/upload the image of the logo into the customized web-page (welcome/login page).Been researching about it, found and tried some clue bout it on cisco documentation, but still can't solve the problem.
I'm looking at adding a Cisco 3750-X switch running c3750e-universalk9-mz.122-55.SE1 (IP base license) into a stack of 3750-G switches running c3750-ipbasek9-mz.122-55.SE1.bin Given that the version and feature sets are the same I don't forsee any compatibility issues. Would there be any reason why a universal image wouldn't stack correctly with other switches running the single .bin file?
We have a Catalyst 3750 switch that failed over to local login after the Tacacs authentication stopped working. I went through the configuration settings and everything appears to be identical to another switch in this same building.
Does Catalyst Cisco 3750 supports NAC Fail Open Feature? how to replace an image in webauth-bundle on WLC 5500?When I run "show custom-web webauth-bundle", I do see the files:
aup.html login.html yourlogo.jpg
But, the size of yourlogo.jpg is too big and need to replace with a smaller one.I have tried (with the appropiate IP and filename):

I have just taken over the management of a Cisco Catalyst 6540. The os image has been erased from the switch (as I have just been informed) and that we need to install the os ourselves.
Any hints on how to install the OS on a switch with no OS installed!
I've started reading on the Internet but am currently confused by "supervisor/msfc", "Cisco IOS/CatOS" and "hybrid/native".I think that we would want ideally to install Cisco IOS using the Native Mode but how would I go about doing that?
I just received a new 4510R+E switch with CAT4500e SUP7e Universal Image cat4500e-universal.spa03.01.01.sg.150-1.x01.bin software imag with License Level ipbase. We specified in the order to receive CAT4500e Universal Crypto Image with License Level ipbase. I have since requested and received the latest CAT4500e Univeral Crypto Image cat4500e-universalk9-spa.03.04.00.sg.151-2.sg.bin. Is there anything other that just installing the new image that must be done to allow me to use the Crypto Image? Would this upgrade do anything to change my License Level ipbase?
I'm trying to work out if I need to order the "IP services" image for a couple of C3750-X. I need to run OSPF on these switches, but find the IOS image requirements on Cisco contradict.
At the top of the data sheet it says: • Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) in IP Base image
On the product info page it says: IP Base: Enterprise Access Layer 3 Switching, including OSPF (Open Shortest Path First) for routed access
But in lots of other places it says you need 'IP services' for OSPF.
As the IP services IOS is quite a bit more expensive I would like to avoid buying it. What image do I need to run OSPF?
I am doing image upgrade on Catalyst 6509-E. During TFTP image transfer to sup-bootflash I always see !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!o!!!!!!!!!! "o" out of sequence packet. Although the image size seems to be correct at the end but there is always some "o" packets.
I am assuming not, but I haven't tried loading with the image after seeing this.
We're not getting the authentication webpage from the WLC, Normally the webpage would appear with a 1.1.1.1 url and you are presented with the username and password boxes. It authentics those, which are Active Directory credentials , and lets you in.Now we're not getting that page at all just the browser message about unable to display.I've phyically checked the WLC card in our 6500 and lights are green no alarms and I'm able to log on to the WLC as well.I was told someone had rebooted the controller to try to resolve the problem but its' still the same.Is it the case that the web page has just stopped and needs to be restarted some how?
I try to make custom web-auth bundle for WLC 2125. User authentication from this custom page work fine, but any error messages about wrong login/pass not work.
Is this supported function for custom pages? If yes, could you result a working html-code?
I am configuring my 5508 WLCs with SW version 7.0.116.0. I configured a guest ssid with web-authentication enabled, but I cannot retrieve the login page on the controller. I configured the virtual interface with the addredd 1.1.1.1 SSID Layer 2 security: None SSID Layer 3 security: Web Policy enabled
I join the ssid with clients, receive the IP address correctly however when I try to open a web page, the login page does not appear. When I check the client status I see that it stuck in WEBAUTH_REQD state.
I have a PIX 501 and I am looking to download an OS as my current image is corrupt and the PIX will not boot. Where I can download the O/S from so I can tftp it across to the router.
End user have had problem with IP phones that are connected to 3750 stack; many times IP phones lose connection with CallManager and the only way to clear this issue is with clear arp command. DHCP for IP phones is configured in 3750 stack.
At the beginning 3750 stack was set a VTP server, and the others as VTP clients, we detected another VTP server switch so we thought that was the problem, but after removing the issue remains. Finally we set all switch in transparent mode.

as it show in the following information there are 4 differents models of 3750 switches, I have already download c3750-ipservicesk9-tar.122-53.SE2.tar for 3750G-24TS.
I have two doubts:
1. There is no problem for using this tar file for all models?
2. I followig command is correct for the change I plann to do ?
i have a dir 825 with fw 2.00eu that i wanted to upgrade to the new beta fw.i went to tools and did a factory reset first,when i wanted to log back in to load the new fw,it sudenly asks for a authentication code,problem is the field is marked with a red x so i cant see any code i'm using windows 7 and IE 9?
I have a problem with radius authentication on catalyst 2960 with freeradius as radius-server. The Catalyst is behind a HP5412zl layer3-switch. The rest of the network are hp-layer2 switches, which do radius authentication to the same radius server. The ios on the catalyst is c2960-lanbasek9-mz.150-1.SE3. Apparently there are no requests made to the radius-server, since I dont see any requests coming in. Port 0/7 is voice port with laptop behind , /port 0/8 access-port with laptop directly connected.
configuring 802.1x authentication on ACS 5.1.0.44 & Catalyst 2960S switches.All the documents i have found seem to have incorrect screen shots or missing steps.I have found a doc external to Cisco [URL]however this just hangs when attempting to complete the task in figure G.The other docs are for configuring IBNS & assume that 802.1x is already configured.
Trying to apply NTP authentication to 3750 switches (layer-2 WS-C3750-24P switches) but they don't wont to work. Applying the same config to any router or 4500/6500 chassis, and NTP authenticates straight away. NTP without authentication works fine on 3750s as well...
I am looking to uplink an HP Blade Chassis to a Cisco 3750-X with SFP+ for 10Gig on each end.I would like to use Direct Attached SFP+ cables if possible.I already know that the HP Virtual Connect module will not accept a Cisco Direct Attached cable at the current firmware.Cisco Nexus 5000 has a feature allowing connectivity with the HP Direct Attached cable using "unsupported" mode.
I have 2 Catalyst 3750-E and I have to make a uplink beetwen them with optic fiber but the uplink will be at 1GB not with 10GB but the default port speed is 10GB on the optional module.I have a CVR-X2-SFP but I don´t know the cli command to convert the Te3/0/1 and Te3/0/2 on Gigabit Interfaces for SFP, what is the command?

have 3 Catalyst 3750 in same stack, the IOS version is 12.2(53)SE2. Today we can not telnet/ssh to this switch, but ping is ok, and switch function is ok. I try to access the console port, it show "low on memory, try again later". After I reboot the master switch in the stack, the master switch change to another switch, then I can telnet/ssh to this switch. I check the Ciscoworks server syslog report, there are many MAC address flapping error message, and I beleive the MAC address flapping occured before several weeks. ( the G2/0/15 & G3/0/15 is connect to a VMware ESX server and the EtherChannel config mismatch with this Catalyst 3750 switch ) How to mention the root cause of the "low on memory" problem and what is the abnormal memory usage ( free memory percentage below ?% )?
my Catalyst 3750 switch. Following a power cut the switch no longer boots up. The SYST light flashed green but no POST checks are made. I cannot see any boot messages from the console port either. The switch was on a UPS but some thing may have damaged the switch.
There is a requirement to configure tacacs and radius on catalyst 3750X (version 15.0) where two vrf exist.Is therer a solution to configure "tacacs-server,host x.x.x.x vrf yyy" ?? I know it is possible to configure under the "aaa group server radius xxx" the command "ip vrf forwarding yyy".Is there anything else for the tacacs-server and radius-server command?
Working on my CCNA w/ live equip, I accidentley deleted the hardware IOS- yes, beginners mistake. Upon bootup, I do not get a command prompt. I tried the recovery procedure(hold mode button before power up) recommended by Cisco to no avail. My issue is I use SecureCRT & the charaters/font is ineligible. Here is an example of what I see when typing; "þæb Bûÿÿûýÿ¿¿ÿÿ". Currently, the SYST indicator is blinking & I have no access.
I just want to know how many ospf routes a catalyst 3740 support ?The cisco doc or datasheets doesn't answer this clearly. Because there is only a statement "unicast routes"!? Does this means all unicast routes (eigrp, ospf....static)If so, there is a statement for about 10k routes ?
I have a Catalyst 3750 I want to add to an existing stack (same models) through the stackwise port We use some complex QoS and other features on our network, and I'm not sure how much configuration I need to do on the new switch before adding it to the stack. Since this is going into an existing setup?
I configured dot1x port-authentication on a 3750. The switch sends out a request to the radius server. The radius server sends a answer-packet to the switch udp port 21645 but it seems the switch discards the packet or something like that. The radius server gets the answer "Destination unreachable, Port Unreachable"
