Cisco Switching/Routing :: SRP541 Is Compatible With SDM?
Jul 19, 2012
I am trying to build a site-to-site VPN between cisco 1811W on a main office and SRP541W on a remote office.I already have the configuration for the 1811W through SMD, but can't install the SDM on the SRP541W.Does the SRP541 is compatible with SDM; and if not is there any other GUI to configure a VPN tunnel on SRP541.
i will be buying 2 x 3750-E and will connect our server with 10G to the x2 port of 3750. is X2-10gb-SR compatible with this? do i need any converter module?
Which WIC or NM Ethernet card is compatible with a 2620, (non XM) router? I have seen conflicting information on compatibility. I am wanting to connect this router via an Ethernet Port with a non Cisco router that is connected to my ISP.
I need to replace an older 3560 with a new 2960-S and am wondering if the SX SFPs I already have will be compatible with the 2960-S. [code] I cannot find any way to get the part numbers of the SFPs.
At a college I'm trying to setup a Cisco 2960 to be used on a VLAN 248 tagged on the uplink port that uses Spanning Tree/. Here is the following from the Cisco:
show interfaces trunk
Port Mode Encapsulation Status Native v lan Gi0/1 on 802.1q trunking 1
Port V lans allowed on trunk Gi0/1 248 [code]...
On the Alcatel OS6850-48L the following is setup: bridge 1x1 248 priority 3287 Vlan 248 802.1q 5/8 "cisco"
I cannot make a change on the Alcatel, I can only administer the Cisco. I was able to get things working fine (as a test) using a Net gear or HP switch instead of the Cisco. However we have a Cisco switches and would not like to have to buy HPs. Is there a compatible spanning tree protocol to use on the Cisco with the way things are configured on the Alcatel. I need to stick to standard RSTP (802.1w) ieee standards and not something Cisco proprietary.
I have a Cisco Router 881 with c880data-universalk9-mz.150-1.M7.bin IOS file. I want to upgrade to the latest IOS c880data-universalk9-mz.152-4.M2.bin. But when I upload the file, it appears the message The selected file c880data-universalk9-mz.152-4.M2.bin is not compatible with this router model.
I have a customer with an ACS for Windows version 3.3. I know the ACS is End-of-support, but if I could do Authentication for a WLAN with a Controller 5508 Softwareversion 7.0.116.0 and how?
I wanted to confirm if the NM-2W is compatible with 3845 (says it is compatible) and 3945.I wanted increase WIC density in these routers to install ISDN HWIC-4B-S/T 4-port ISDN BRI High-Speed WAN Interface Card. However, i am not sure if these cards are compatible on the NM-2W. Is there any other NM* module that can extend WIC density on those routers.
I have a desktop PC running WinXP I recently got a laptop running Win7. I Set both of them up with the same workgroup name, and now my XP machine can see and access my laptop, but my lap can't see my XP machine. If it makes any difference, I can remote into my XP from my laptop, but that's not what I need.

Currently, I have setup a demo lab with the UC320W + IP Phones and OnPlus Network Agent all connected to a SG300-28P. I have just obtained an SRP547W because I wanted to use the 3G/4G internet connection via the router as my demo lab is an isolated network. Now, I tried to a couple of 3G modem (UMG181) and 4G Telstra modem (MF821) on the SRP547W but none of these work. I had a look at the compatibility tableI guess those modem models are not listed there. However, when I went on say the Optus website to scout for a more compatible model, none of them hit it right on the mark. The matrix says it can support E180 (while Optus has the E188), E353 (while Optus has the E353). I have already wasted my money on getting the earlier stated 3G/4G Modems and I ain't going to take a chance again.

Imagine I have from customer side SFP-10G-LR GBIC.Then circuit to be deployed is 1310nm, Metro. My question is, if I will receive 100Mbps from such circuit, is this 10 GBIC compatible with 100Mbps? 10GBASE-LR SFP+ transceiver module for SMF, 1310-nm wavelength, LC duplex connector )
I recently purchased a Cisco 5508 WLC and I'm looking to buy some SFP modules but can't find info on which ones would be compatible with the controller on Cisco's website . Is there any module that can support 10Gb as I have a 10Gb on the other end (switch end)?
We have a client that moved to a new office and WAP4400N can no longer reach entire office so we need to put in repeater. However, we have already tried one that isn't compatible so which model of wireless repeater is compatible with WAP4400N. Note, we do not use Wireless N and will not be any time soon due to older devices.
I am new to this forum. I ve been googling for CCNA explorer for last one month. All the versions that i download is not compatible with windows 7 and works fine with windows XP. Does anyone know if cisco has released any new version that is compatible with Windows 7?
Have just received an AOL wireless modem; have a belkin wireless adapter for my PC (running Wndows XP) but doesn't give a reliable connection to AOL.Is there any specific adapter I should be using? Modem isSL 2680
My onboard network adaptor card died so I bought a Rock USB lan Card RJ-45. It worked for 30 mins then just stopped working. When I look at the device driver details, it recognises it, and also says the drivers are up to date. When i try to connect to the modem for internet connection it says ....There might be a problem with the driver for the Local Area Connection 4 adaptor. A network cable is not properly plugged in or may be broken....Ichanged the cable, still same message, I went to the internet on another computer to download drivers but it still says drivers are up to date. My system is a hp p6380a home pc. Running windows 7 64 bit. Im thinking that it might be a faulty usb card but when I spoke to a guy at a computer shop he said that they are not compatible with 64bit computers. Ok then why did it work for 30 - 1hour.
I am trying to install the WLAN driver for Dell Dimension 9200C desktop computer running Windows XP but I keep getting the error that no compatible hardware was found. I've gone to the appropriate Dell Drivers site for the computer's model and I'm 99% sure I downloaded the correct software for WLAN: Dell Wireless 1395 WLAN MiniCard. After going to Device Manager and looking under "Network Adapters", there is no Dell WLAN card at all (direct ethernet connection for internet works). Is it possible that the computer cannot find the WLAN network card, which prevents me from installing the driver software, even though it exists? If so, what can I do? If not, I guess I'll go buy a USB network adapter.
