I want to use 1841 router for implementation in one project but I could not find out from where I can get End of Sale, End of Life and End of Support details for this router, any links so that I can dig out Cisco is maintaining these details at some of its portal but where.

An 1841 is conencted to the internet by DSL, it works fine. I have added it to the 10.98.8.x subnet off a 3750 switch.When I connect other devices to the same switch port, I can ping/browse to them fine, but when I connect the 1841 I can only ping it from the 3750, not another subnet connected to the same router. View 2 Replies View RelatedCurrently my home network is being switched via TrendNet TEGs80G unmanaged gig switches. I have been using them for about a year now with no issues. As my home network becomes more advanced, I recently just added a Cisco ASA5505, I am thinking about swapping those unmanaged devices, 4 of them, to managed. I was looking at the Cisco SG300-10 for upstairs, and a 16 port variant for my main core. These devices do not support full Cisco IOS cli, but they are manageable with a rich feature set nonetheless. My question is, should I swap the unmanaged devices with the more expensive Cisco devices, or just keep what works and save the money until I really need to spend it. As previously stated, my home LAN works just fine as it is, however my WiFi, NTV550s, server and workstations are all on the same network. Probably not the most secure but it is what it is without VLAN support.
View 11 Replies View RelatedI have installed my new E4200 and it works beautifully. I have several wirelss adapters and a few wired connections through powerline adapters. I also have a second VPN router attached to the 4200.I can see the wireless connected devices with the associated IP addresses. If I plug a laptop directly into the Cisco, I can of course see it.However, I can see none of the devices attatched to the powerline devices? I have a securty cam connected via the powerline and want to know the IP address. I checked with cisco technical support via chat and they said it is impossible. I have used 2 previous routers with the same configuration and can see all devices.
View 1 Replies View RelatedAll of a sudden my laptop, android phone and blu ray player (all wireless devices) can't communicate with my wired devices (marantz receiver and samsung tv). Everything still connects to the internet independently but i can't for instance play music from my wireless laptop to my wired marantz receiver. I had no trouble with this last week and didn't change anything (that I'm aware of) I did get Verizon to switch out my router but it didn't solve anything. My wife's computer also cannot connect to wired devices. Lastly, if I connect my laptop with via ethernet cable it sees wired devices fine. I tried shutting off windows firewall but didn't work. I have no other firewall/virus software installed. I can ping to all devices (wired and wireless) from my laptop.

However, when i tried checking the MAC connected to that interface, its not showingI have my Switch (3750) connected to a Router (3845). On the Switch, i have a printer connected in an interface. I am seeing the Printer's MAC associated with the switch port. However, when i checked the ARP table; no entry seen for the Printer's MAC. What are the possible reasons for this? We have several same kind of devices connected to network and they are fine.

There are three PowerSupplies installed with a PowerStack, also running like expectet.My problem ist to get the status-information about the chassis-fans. I couldn't find any information about the OID and the search results only in some non-useful information about the MIBs from Cisco which delivers only three information about installed fans (and fan-containers), so I guess these are the information about the fans included within the powersupply?! The chassis-fans are installed and the LEDs are green for all four fan-mounts, up and running.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a number of users who are failing wireless authentication. Using the troubleshooter i notice that its show message that Active Directory servers are not available. Under the Identity stores when i check on the connection status it shows disconnected. When i click on Test connection it shows successful. This ACS is a secondary. It has happened before and i removed it from the ACS cluster, rebooted it and rejoined it. Ran test connection and it showed "CONNECTED". Now it keeps showing disconnected.

WLC: 7.0.220
MSE: 7.0.220
NCS: 1.0.2.29
NCS shows Controller is not reachable from MSE. I am able to ping to and from the Controller and MSE.Sychronization service is showing everything being synchronize. Removed and MSE from NCS and add it back in several times.
The last three new APs I have received from our supplier (official Cisco 1142 LAPs) have all successfully connected to our 4400 series WLCs but are all reporting as being in an Operational Status of 'Down' ie their A/B/G/N radios are not broadcasting even though the APs are all in an enabled state. Furthermore, there is no steady green light showing on the APs - there is no light showing whatsoever (although they were displaying the familiar red-orange-green lights while they were pulling down the IOS images from the WLCs).
The only strange thing I have noticed is that in the AP config screen, the ‘Mini IOS version’ is shown as being v7.3.x. The other – working APs – we have of the 1142 series show v3.x. I know that controller code v7.2 and above only work with the newer 5500 and 7500 series WLCs. Could this be the issue and have any of you seen this issue previously? I am running WLC code v7.0.230.0.
I have an issue with two APs (3502i) which is associated to controller wism2. Total number of APs are connected to this controller is 422 and once I added two new APs (3502i) to this controller I am unable to see these APs coming up. Getting error messages like wrong primary controller nad secondary controller. When I loggedin to the controller through CLI following are the details I am getting for the APs which is not registering to the controller:, Also for comparison I am attaching the statistics for the AP which is working good and is able to register.
Note: I thought the problem with these two APs and will try replacing them but when i connected the other two APs to different switch and different subnet the same errors we are seeing.

i still newbie to configure eBGP, i have Router 3600 series, and i configure BGP neighbor to my ISP, but the peer still don't established,there is warning like this, Connections established 339; dropped 339 "Last reset 2w4d, due to Peer closed the session No active TCP connection"

It is not the fault of the ISP, but some setting somewhere, either in the router (SG 310 Snapgear) or in a particular program being accessed each night. Sometimes BSODs.A few days ago I tried connecting a MBlaze modem to my laptop (Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit) to access internet. But it resulted in instant BSOD everytime.I deleted the modem software after that & didn't try to connect it again.But now, whenever I connect using my LAN broadband, connection works fine as long as I am continuously browsing something. But as soon as I stop browsing and it goes in idle mode in about 10-15 minutes, the connection gets disconnected. In the adapter properties, it shows that the driver is working properly. If I try to disable or uninstall it it doesn't give a response. The only solution to this is a forced shutdown & restart, after which it works fine untill not idle. I am not able to download anything because of this.I tried many things like reinstalling the network adapter driver, unchecking the power management feature, resetting the connection, etc. but nothing is working.
