I just hooked up my DIR-655 yesterday and it seems to be working very well. The only problem I've got is that the Wireless Status page is empty. It filled in with data one time only, and it showed connections, protocols, speeds, etc. that seemed correct.
View 14 RepliesI have a Cisco 2620XM Router, running ver. 12.2 (7r). I have OSPF connected, however the OSPF routes are not populating in the sh ip route display. The neighbor relationship is established. The sh ip ospf database does display the other routers running ospf, however only connected (C) and static (S) routes appear.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have connected my 2504 to a 3560 switch via a UTP SFP on a Gig port.
I have my management on 10.0.0.x I have tried tagging the port and untagging.
When I connect to the 3560 the interface comes up a-1000 a-full but when I look on the WLC the port I am using, port 1, shows Link status down.
The green light is on both the WLC port and the 3560 port but I cannot get the link status to come up on the WLC nor can I ping the WLC.
It must be something dumb I have missed.
The WLC port is autonegotiate too.
My wireless connection for my laptop is showing upas N on Win 7 but G on DIR-655 status page??? I'm confused. Am I getting N speeds/coverage or stuck with G. If G, why? I've tried wiping my wireless network config. on Windows and reestablishing it, but no change. The DIR-655 config page shows my machine connected at 54 Mbps and Type as G

I bought some days ago Tp-Link Wireless Router (Model TL-WR740N - 150 Mbps - Ver 4.23) but I couldn't install it: when I do Easy Setup Assistant, the network status test always fails because of absence of connectivity. I can see that there are some problems by the lights of the router: the WLAN light switches on, as the WAN light and the LAN light, instead of being flashed. I tried to do the installation without cd but, clicking on 192.168.1.1, I didn't find the page to access to web console but the Telecom page of the status of my connexion (nb: it reports that ethernet is unplugged).
I am trying to install a AIR-BR1310G wireless link between two buildings. I configured the setup in a lab and had everything functioning. Shipped it to the client who is now trying to install it. The radio link is up, but we are having issues with the remote Ethernet connection.The root bridge is connected to a WS-C3560G-24TS (core) switch. The port is setup as a trunk with a native vlan of 2 (our management vlan). [code] if I do a "show power-injector" on the remote radio (no Ethernet link), I get: "Received zero AutoMIB packet from Power Injector, Check to see if CDP is disabled on Fast ethernet" repeating. No other entries. If I do the same command on a unit with a link (root bridge) I get information about "Power Injector Port 0 speed 100Mb/s duplex full link up enabled yes" with a bunch of stats. Similar for "Power Injector Port 1". Power Injector Ports 2-4 as "down" and 5-6 as "disabled". Other than the 3 different patch cables they tried (all straight through) or a crossed cable (try tomorrow when they buy one), is there any other reason the port won't go Up/Up?

I have tried port forwarding both xbox's, just my xbox, just my dad's xbox etc.. I have tried DMZ on one with or without the other on Port Forwarding. I have turned UPNP on I have it so the filtering is set to endpoint independent . I have tried without . I have even tried port triggering today. I have manually set static ip addresses on both the xbox and the router. I even have the most recently upgraded firmware. Now... How do I get TWO Xbox 360's on OPEN NAT ? Instead, where the SD status is it says "SD Status : Reinitialization". I'm a techie guy so I've done all the standard things you'd try: I've made sure it's pushed in all the way, that it's in the right way (it really only goes in one way), and that's it's a writable (tried it on another device). I've also upgraded the firmware (it was almost current already), reformatted the card, reset and restarted the device, etc.

Today I finally upgraded my ISP to cable (from a slower DLS connection) to get reasonable speed/price All is working very well but unlike my old DSL modem the internet status light on the DIR-655 blinks very rapidly all the time instead of when traffic is passed.The new modem is a Motorola SB6141,I am running the latest firmware 1.35NA I went through a complete re-setup to see if that would calm the light but no dice there. (the settings arrived at were basically the same for the old Sprint modem) ,Is there something I am missing or is it time to retire the old DIR-655 for something more current.

It is a DCS-2121, H/W Ver A2, with firmware 1.04_FR.It received an IP address and I could access it fine with a web browser.Then I configured it to work wireless.I disconnected the cable but the camera wasn't accessible.Since I couldn't find it I re-attached it with a network cable, but this didn't work.So I pressed the Reset button to start over again.However, now I cannot get it to work anymore. When I plug in the camera and have it connected with a network cable to the router the status light remains RED.When I plug it in without a network cable the status led remains RED.When I connect it with a network cable to a computer directly, the status led remains RED.I've tried changing the network settings of my router to use 192.168.0.x as range, but it makes no difference. In all cases the status indicator remains RED.

In other words it will not show any connected equipment in the wireless status, and it will not show DHCP status. I have done a hard reboot and still don't see anything. a few day l have 3 AP Ligthweight 1250, today l was checking my infrastructure and l saw that these 3 AP can´t join to the controller, l reset the AP to the, and its can not join, l checked physicly the AP, and the Ethernet Led is in Amber permanent and the Radio Led is in Green permanet , i am searching the status led to find the fix but l have not found these convination led. and l can not access to the consolo port.

NCS: 1.0.2.29
NCS shows Controller is not reachable from MSE. I am able to ping to and from the Controller and MSE.Sychronization service is showing everything being synchronize. Removed and MSE from NCS and add it back in several times.
The last three new APs I have received from our supplier (official Cisco 1142 LAPs) have all successfully connected to our 4400 series WLCs but are all reporting as being in an Operational Status of 'Down' ie their A/B/G/N radios are not broadcasting even though the APs are all in an enabled state. Furthermore, there is no steady green light showing on the APs - there is no light showing whatsoever (although they were displaying the familiar red-orange-green lights while they were pulling down the IOS images from the WLCs).
The only strange thing I have noticed is that in the AP config screen, the ‘Mini IOS version’ is shown as being v7.3.x. The other – working APs – we have of the 1142 series show v3.x. I know that controller code v7.2 and above only work with the newer 5500 and 7500 series WLCs. Could this be the issue and have any of you seen this issue previously? I am running WLC code v7.0.230.0.

I want to set up AP 1552 as outdoor access point so serve clients. I am having trouble keeping my computer connected to the internet...even though it says my signal strength from my wireless internet is excellent. every time i get online i put in my url and it loads the page but if i click on anything on that page it asks me to connect again even though my computer says im still connected.

What is the update/cycle time for the device list actually checking connection status of a device?In my situation, it has been 3 days (72 hours) since the two device showing as connected have not been connected to my home network/router. Noticed that this inaccurate connection status for these devices is also contributing to the Device Monitr app not showing correct device connection status info.
Would like to have real-time device connection status if possible. This device list is great way to know when device get connected or disconnected which let me know when my kids get home from school or using game console when should be doing homework.
