Found that there were some r>i (RIB-Failure) route in C7600 doesn't flagged w/ r>i in ASR9K. Is it normal behaviour in ASR9K? How can I perserve r>i on ASR9K? What can be the reason.I have done "no shutdown " on interface level and there is no configuration on interface except the IP address , but it show " up down "state even the port is connected to some device. ( Is the port is faulty or some other reason).As per my concept it should show up state when we connect to some device ( Like router / switch / laptop).

View 9 Replies View RelatedWe just recently purchased a 3945 ISR G2 router and have a SRE-910 module (with two hard drives) configured in a Raid 1. We are running a stand-alone version of ESXi on the service module and I'm trying to figure out how to monitor the status of the Raid on the drives (along with other health issues). SNMP has revealed nothing so far and even opening a support case for which MIB's to use has proved fruitless. All the documents I find on monitoring the modules say to use LMS which is now Cisco Prime. I've downloaded the trial copy, put in the SNMP settings and scanned the router. I get device results and it shows that I have the SRE-910 module installed, but I get no other configuration / device informaiton from the module itself.
I tried to create a new Monitoring template using the NAM health as the base template (which I'm assuming this is the correct template). Unfortunately, when I actually try to deploy the template against the discovered router, I get an 'Unexpected end of list' error which makes me assume I'm still doing something wrong.
We have cisco 7600 Router with 76-ES+XT-4TG3C Module connected. The Module is getting detected after upgrading the Router with SRD5 IOS.Below are the testing which we have done on the Router but we are facing the issue while configuring the Transport mode LAN and Transport Mode WAN:Brief about this is:- 2 Cisco 7606-s Router with Module 76-ES+XT-4TG3C each.- two ports on 7606-s Ten2/1 & Ten2/2 are configured as a Transport mode WAN while Ten2/3 & Ten2/4 are configured as Transport mode LAN.- We connect Fiber Cable from LAN Port to MUX and from MUX to 2nd LAN Port of the same Router. Same thing we tested by using the WAN Port-MUX-WAN Port connection.- Now on MUX end LAN port, connected Single and Multi mode fiber and on 7606 end 2/4 port which is configured as transport mode LAN, using Multimode SFP module -> XFP-10G-MM-SR, port did not came up then replaced 2/4 port with single mode SFP ->XFP-10GLR-OC192SR port came up. this is testing for LAN.- For WAN testing on MUX end used WAN port and on 7606 end checked with single mode and multimode fiber and with single XFP-10GLR-OC192SR / mulimode XFP-10G-MM-SR SFP, port did not come up.Wanted to know 1) If we have to go for Transport Mode LAN then which SFP/XSFP Module should go with along with the Single/Multimode Fiber.2) If we have to go for Transport Mode WAN then which SFP/XSFP Module should go with along with the Single/Multimode Fiber.Anything else is required while configuring the Transport Mode WAN as this is for Packet-Over_SONET/SDH? 3) MUX Side change is required while connecting both of this Modes on Cisco 7600 Router.4) Is hardware of the Router is giving any issue? Though we tested by connecting Back to Back LAN Port as well as Back to Back WAN Port. In both the situation the Ports are coming UP.

I fill out the password, and the username the way it should be, but then when I try to get the modem to connect, it says the network status is busy.
My wireless connection for my laptop is showing upas N on Win 7 but G on DIR-655 status page??? I'm confused. Am I getting N speeds/coverage or stuck with G. If G, why? I've tried wiping my wireless network config. on Windows and reestablishing it, but no change. The DIR-655 config page shows my machine connected at 54 Mbps and Type as G

I have the Linksys EA6500 with the latest firmware and have a question regarding the device list connection status.Currently, I am seeing devices in the list that have a connection status of live, but they are not even within my home network. What is the update/cycle time for the device list actually checking connection status of a device?In my situation, it has been 3 days (72 hours) since the two device showing as connected have not been connected to my home network/router. Noticed that this inaccurate connection status for these devices is also contributing to the Device Monitr app not showing correct device connection status info.
Would like to have real-time device connection status if possible. This device list is great way to know when device get connected or disconnected which let me know when my kids get home from school or using game console when should be doing homework.
I cannot access my Motorola SB6141 cable modem status page at 192.168.100.1 thru the EA6500 router. I can bypass the router and can connect to the status page with no problem. Is there a setting to change or can I possibly do port forwarding to access it?

However, when i tried checking the MAC connected to that interface, its not showingI have my Switch (3750) connected to a Router (3845). On the Switch, i have a printer connected in an interface. I am seeing the Printer's MAC associated with the switch port. However, when i checked the ARP table; no entry seen for the Printer's MAC. What are the possible reasons for this? We have several same kind of devices connected to network and they are fine.

There are three PowerSupplies installed with a PowerStack, also running like expectet.My problem ist to get the status-information about the chassis-fans. I couldn't find any information about the OID and the search results only in some non-useful information about the MIBs from Cisco which delivers only three information about installed fans (and fan-containers), so I guess these are the information about the fans included within the powersupply?! The chassis-fans are installed and the LEDs are green for all four fan-mounts, up and running.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a number of users who are failing wireless authentication. Using the troubleshooter i notice that its show message that Active Directory servers are not available. Under the Identity stores when i check on the connection status it shows disconnected. When i click on Test connection it shows successful. This ACS is a secondary. It has happened before and i removed it from the ACS cluster, rebooted it and rejoined it. Ran test connection and it showed "CONNECTED". Now it keeps showing disconnected.

WLC: 7.0.220
MSE: 7.0.220
NCS: 1.0.2.29
NCS shows Controller is not reachable from MSE. I am able to ping to and from the Controller and MSE.Sychronization service is showing everything being synchronize. Removed and MSE from NCS and add it back in several times.
The last three new APs I have received from our supplier (official Cisco 1142 LAPs) have all successfully connected to our 4400 series WLCs but are all reporting as being in an Operational Status of 'Down' ie their A/B/G/N radios are not broadcasting even though the APs are all in an enabled state. Furthermore, there is no steady green light showing on the APs - there is no light showing whatsoever (although they were displaying the familiar red-orange-green lights while they were pulling down the IOS images from the WLCs).
The only strange thing I have noticed is that in the AP config screen, the ‘Mini IOS version’ is shown as being v7.3.x. The other – working APs – we have of the 1142 series show v3.x. I know that controller code v7.2 and above only work with the newer 5500 and 7500 series WLCs. Could this be the issue and have any of you seen this issue previously? I am running WLC code v7.0.230.0.
