Cisco WAN :: 1921 - Configuring NAT Failover To 4G LTE Verizon Card

I am using a Cisco 1921 with a Verizon 4G LTE card installed. The primary connection is a Cable Modem with the 4G LTE acting as the backup. I've setup a track on the static route to the primary ISP. I'm having multiple issues. Initially I used the Gig 0/0 int instead of a Loopback address for the IP SLA source. The IP SLA traffic would be sent to the cellular interface and cause an IP source violation and the interface would flap. Then I used the Loopback and I could not get the route to fail back when the connection came back up. Even with the Loopback as the source for IP SLA I'm still getting flapping and I think that is a NAT configuration issue. I've applied an access-group on the cellular interface to try to fix the ip source violation issues, but it doesn't appear to work. The IP-SLA-POLICY route map is an attempt to force the IP SLA traffic to the primary interface. [code]

We got a 1921 router that works fine. We ordered Verizon Businss One Static IP ADSL. It came with a Westell Modem that we configured in bridge mode. When we do a test by assigning a static IP to our laptop then hook it up to the Westell it works fine. We can browse the web. Then when we assign a static IP to the Ethernet on our 1921 then connect it to the Westell it doesn't work. We can't ping out from the router to for example 4.2.2.2. From the router we can't even ping the default gateway (on Verizon's side).

I’m working with a customer who has upgraded from a Sonicwall w/ PCMCIA card slot to a Cisco ASA 5505. They were using this slot with a Verizon card as an ISP failover. Obviously the ASA does not have a PCMCIA slot to reuse this aircard. However, I was wondering if there is another solution to use the existing aricard with the ASA.

I have a 1921 router with two wan interface configured, one is primary and the other is standby or backup in case the primary goes down, I was able to configure links to failover from primary to backup once there primary is down, but how do I configure to make sure when primary is up it failbak to to it. We have purchased a Cisco 1921 with twin ADSL after advice from a Cisco sales rep. However I am having trouble working out the load balancing/fail over config for the device.
I would like traffic to balance over both ADSL lines and if one goes down not to interrupt connectivity.
I had a look at ppp multilink but I am unsure our ISP (BT) support this?

We are having problems configuring NAT on our Cisco 1921 Router. Below is the running config. The problem we're having is for example our FTP server 192.168.1.16, cannot be accessed from its outside IP address, which is NATed on the router. The server is verified to be up and running and when we do a show debug ip nat, we see the router is translating outside users attempting to access the ftp server to it's correct internal IP address.

Lately we have been comsidering an upgrade in our organization involving a 1921 router. The main role it will play is a load balancer/failover between 2 connections from 2 different ISPs. what additions are required to be added to this piece of equipment to make the configuration work. Im researching the matter now and it seems an extra card whould be purchased in addition to the router. Also, i cant seem to find much information on the available licenses to go with the router. will i need a special license to utilize the balancer/failover feature? (ip base, data, SEC).

Have a 1921 that has 3 eth connections (1 LAN, and 2 WAN) - I have 2 seperate OSPF processes (2 areas) on the WAN Ints - both upstream WAN's are sending defaults back to the 1921, and the 1921 is sending it's LAN range to them.
I have ip ospf cost 150 set on the "failover" WAN connection interface (Both on the 1921 and upstream), but the 1921 is preferring the default route from the "failover"?
The default routes are both being received by the 1921, but it's preferring the "failover" Int with the ip ospf cost 150 configured?

I have two ASA 5510's that I want to setup in a Active/Standby configuration. My only question is on how to connect the inside ports to my LAN. I have 5 Catalyst 3750's stacked together that connect to the ASA's. Should I run the inside interface on ASA1 to a port on switch 1. Then run the inside interface on ASA2 to a port on switch2? And make sure both those ports are in the same VLAN? But, then when failover occured, how to I automatically make it clear the arp cache so the traffic starts flowing out of the right port?

We have multiple cisco routers and most of them have dual WAN connections thru different ISPs. So, we use IP SLA monitor with tracking object s to monitor each ISP availability/reliability and switch routing accordingly ( by IOS). So far, it has been working ok. However, recently, we had some ISP high latency and the connection to one ISP will be so slow but the IOS keep seeing it as UP, thus sending traffic thru it. So, I tried to change around the threshold numbers around with no luck. Is there any configuration/commands or tricks that can do the job here? I don't want the users to be the one to detect the Internet slowness and have me manually shut down an interface or change the static routes metrics. here is a sample of my config:

I've two Cisco ASA 5550 firewall. I'm don't have much knowlege on configuring this kind of firewall. I need configuring these firewall for simple NAT. I have 3 public IP address. I am working at a client site today. This specific client has decided to replace their legacy 2600 branch office routers with newer 1921 ISR G2 routers as they move from a Legacy Frame WAN to a MPLS network with a different provider.
The backup in the former scenario was actually an ISDN solution. Moving forward, the provider has sold them a 3G backup solution. To support this, we have purchased Cisco line cards for the 3G. The part number for the cards is "EHWIC-3G-EVDO-V=".
I was asked by the client this morning if there was a way to tell what the IMEI number for the 3G card was. I performed a shew inventory, as well as a shew hardware, but I do not see this IMEI number. I also checked the label on the packaging box that the cards came in, but do not see this number. Is there a way to tell what this number is for each card?

My printer keeps connecting through my Verizon card and it is costing me lots of $. Verizon says no way.How to I tell my new Windows XP laptop to NOT connect my printer using the Verizon card? We have a few remote sites that connect back to HQ with T1 & DMVPN (Cable/DSL) for data. Our CM Publisher/Subscriber reside in HQ. We recently installed FXS cards in these routers to provide Fax functionality to our remote sites since we will be removing some POTS lines.
Can we register the 2811 as a voice gateway (I am thinking MGCP as with VG224's we have in production) and have it handle faxes with FXS card as well as route data or will we need a separate device for this?

I am trying to configure a shdsl port on a 2911 router for CO mode of operation.The dsl-group auto command does not seem to change the port to operate in CO mode and the link will not come up to a remote router that has a card installed operating in CPE mode.The configuration I have applied for the shdsl controller is.

I have Verizon FIOS. I am using their Actiontec router. I turned on WPA2. All is working well. I wanted to turn it off to diagnose a problem with one device. I can see no way to turn it off. To turn it on you click WPA2. you put in an 8 digit "password" etc and it works. There seems to be no way to turn it off. Am I overlooking something? I tried deleting the password. but it gives you an error and remindes you the password needs to be 8 characters.

I have verizon fios 35/35 and i am told i have to run there modem/router combo for the tv ge to work properly. I have two ps3's hard wierd to the provided router, and one laptop running wirelessly. The problem is this: when the two ps3's are playing call of duty at the same time, whichever ps3 that was turned on first shows it has an open NAT type and whichever ps3 is turned on second shows a moderate NAT type (this makes them unable to play together online). I am familiar with prot forwarding but not sure if i can do this for two separate ps3's. So i hard wired a second router to the old router and ran everything out of the new one. Only now they are both a moderate NAT type. Ive played around with the UPnP settings, but dont really know what else i can do.

I have the Cisco RV082 with firmware v4.0.4.02 Comcast is connected to Wan 1 and works perfectly.I've enabled load balancing and am trying to get verizon DSL to function on wan 2.My verizon DSL line is connected via their provided actiontec GT784WNV router. I've enabled transparent bridging on the actiontec router and have PPPOE set up in Wan 2 on the RV082.
Wan 2 shows the following information, but will not connect to anything.
IP Address : 108.34.xx.xx
Default Gateway : 10.4.53.1
DNS : 71.242.0.12
Dynamic DNS : Disabled
I'm able to ping and traceroute most sites.

We live in the boondocks, and are forced to have Frontier for our ISP. We need to reconnect frequently, sometimes several times a day. We'd like to find an alternative to Frontier, and not a satellite connection (been there, done that).
We are thinking about seeing if VerizonWireless could be our ISP but before I talk to them I'd like to know how much data we download. I asked Frontier but because our plan is unlimited, they say they have no way to knowing our data download per month. We have a Gigaset SE567 modem, and I'm wondering if there is some way to figure out our data download from that.

I set up my linksys wireless router as I have before. I am using Verizon PPOE DSL with modem in bridge mode I am online in that I receive email in outlook and can use IM. However I can't surf to any web page. All the troubleshooting I have done has come up short. I can ping yahoo, my dns, gateway, and local ip.
