I am trying to upgrade CP Express to 2.5 and after the upgrade I bring up the webpage to login and I am prompted for my credentials, I enter them and I am authenticated. However the CP Express home page never loads. I have tried to reload 2.0 but it does the same thing.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI installed a 1941 router with an encrypted GRE tunnel yesterday. The router has ipbasek9 and securiyk9 licensed. Initially the router was running the image c1900-universalk9-mz.SPA.150-1.M5.bin and was working fine. The tunnel was up and passing traffic. I then upgraded the IOS to c1900- universal k9-mz.SPA.151-2.T2.bin and when I reloaded the router the tunnel was stuck in a reset/down state. I tried doing shut/no shut on the interface and reloading the router again, no change. Being under some time pressure to get the device back into production I rolled back to the previous IOS image and the tunnel worked fine again. Is there a known bug that causes this behavior? I have searched cisco.com but have not found one. [code]

After a while it changes to Service Module is failed.If I restart the module with service-module wlan-ap2 reset, it works. Is this a technical error?
I have a VPN setup in my network. Whenever I try to connect to VPN using Tata Photon, VPN successfully gets established, but I can not access/ping any devices in network. If I connect VPN using any other internet source (Broad band, internet lease line) VPN works properly. I have cofigured split tunneling on 1941 series routers.
One thing I have observes is that, after connecting photon, default route injected in PC has metric of 41 and after connecting VPN, specific route for network has metric of 100. Could this be a issue? can PC prefer exact route over default route?
I have a Cisco 1941 router configured using Cisco Configuration Professional... SSH management works from the LAN IP 10.0.1.254 and 10.0.2.254 Also, SSH management works from the LAN using the external domain name which resolves to the public IP address.
The problem i have is if I try SSH from the internet to the public IP.. nothing happens.

Probably because its a lot faster than the old router Ive got now. But I have a problem when i try to set it up. When I plug in the Express and the cable from the cable modem then start Airport utility, it cant find the Express. Ive tried using my laptop and connecting it straight into the modem, but that doesn't seem to fix anything.

From there I have an ethernet cable attached to an AV receiver (Pioneer 1021k), but all to often now with this new router to use any of the features of the receiver ie Airplay, iOS app remote, I must restart the router EVERY time. This is frustrating because the these issues were never present with the netgear router.

If these devices are wired in the network they don't have any issues seeing the airport express. Is there any special configuration I need to do to my E3000 so that wireless devices can see each other? I also had the same issue with my ps3 for streaming from wireless laptop to wireless ps3.

I have managed to get it all connected up and working but am suffering frequent dropouts while streaming music. I have done a little reading and have tried changing a few settings on the router but have found no improvement. My set up is as follows.

-Desktop Computer connected to network via wusb600N dongle
-Airport Express connected via wif
-Using Iphone 4 as remote

I have an Airport Express and two wireless routers. The Airport Express is connected to Router 1 via Ethernet. Router 2 is connected to Router 1 via Ethernet. Since I like to know which Wireless Router I'm connected to, Router 1 & 2 use different SSIDs. Router 1 is the DHCP server (DHCP turned off on Router 2). All security settings are turned OFF.Router 1 is a Linksys WRT120N with latest firmware and Router 2 is a Belkin Wireless Router.I can connect via wireless to Router 1 and Router 2 via the seperate SSIDs and have Internet connectivity (Router 1 is connected the the Internet) and print to a wireless printer connecter to the Router 1 wireless network.
Now here is the strange thing. I can see the Airport Express only if I connect to the Router 2 wireless network!!! I cannot see it if I connect to the Router 1 wireless network, yet the Airport Express is connected via Ethernet to ROUTER 1 !So for some reason, the LinkSys WRT120N Wireless Router won't route the Airport Express to a wireless client on it's own wireless network, but it will route it to an Ethernet client which is what any client connected to Router 2 wirelesslessly is seen as. When connected to router 1 wirelessly I can ping the IP of the Airport but something is preventing it from working with iTunes/iPhone/Airport Utility. It is bizarre because these are all devices connected to the same LAN. SInce I can ping it, it tells me that it isn't a routing issue, but there must be some sort of filter between the wireless and ethernet that is preventing the Airport protocol from being transmitted.
I have recently upgraded a customer ASA5510 to version 8.3.
After upgrade web access etc is working fine however VPN is down. The config looks very different after the upgrade plus what looks to be duplicate entries.
I suspect its an access list issue but I'm not sure.

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen we had 8.2.2, we bought a Mobile license to make the iPads running AnyConnect happy. I applied it, but since we'd only purchased one license, it broke failover. 8.4 lets you share tracking licenses, and since we were planning on the upgrade to 8.4.x anyway, I figured no big deal, I'll get that straightened out when I do the upgrade.
Did the upgrade this weekend, and I still can't get things happy, the boxes don't see one-another:

Just upped our external ASA-5540 pair to 8.4(1), and now one of our nat's is busted.
Here's the lowdown:
Our public IP for our IronPorts ends in .167. That IP is natted to a VIP on our ACE, which load balances to the IronPorts.
The outside interface of the ASA uses .162, which has been the pat for all outbound traffic for a few years... except for the subnet that houses the IronPorts. Due to reverse lookup, that subnet uses the .167 IP address for all outbound traffic.
After the code upgrade, the nat won't work. No email sent or received. Nothing but Deny's on the ASA with flags reading either "SYN" or "RST". IE: Apr 27 12:56:11 10.22.151.41 local5.crit %ASA-2-106001: Inbound TCP connection denied from 69.25.174.17/36917 to 207.236.211.167/25 flags SYN on interface outside
If I return the subnet pat back to the outside interface, then inbound traffic works fine, though reverse lookup fails and anyone running a reasonable spam filter won't send to us.

View 7 Replies View RelatedAn ASA5510 (with 1 webserver behind it, just starting to build the cluster) was functioning OK with version 8.2: I was able to log in using RDP to the server bhind it from some trusted IP's.
I updated ASDM to the latest version 6.4.7, and then the ASA-software to 8.3.2. After reloading, I could not access the server anymore. I saw that changes were made to the config. Then I updated to version 8.4.3, same results of course, and this is the config. [code]
we recently upgraded our ASA 5510 active/standby cluster from ASA Version 8.3.2 to 8.4.1(11). Unfortunately the standby ASA is now crashing a few seconds after the configuration was synchronized from the active ASA.
Also completely disabling HA, bringing the default config to standby ASA again and activating HA afterwards did not work. Also tried through the Wizard provided by ASDM to be sure to have no errors with requirements.
How to solve this without doing a downgrade back to 8.3.2. ?
We have a 5510 ASA that was running 8.0 and were using it for clientless VPN access. Through this, we published bookmarks that linked to an internal Microsoft 2008R2 RemoteApps server, which users logged on to and then launched RemoteApps (basically being RDP sessions to apps on the server).All worked fine until we upgraded to 8.4 over the weekend and we now can't launch the RemoteApps. We can still login through the ASA, still click a bookmark to take us to the RemoteApps server's webpage, still then authenticate against the domain fine and still see the published apps. The problem now is when we launch the apps we get "this computer can't connect to the remote computer" messages and the app fails to launch. Nothing has changed on the RemoteApp server side, only the upgrade to 8.4.

Even the logging shows nothing.
