Cisco VPN :: Configure Site-to-site VPN Using 881 Router On End And Connecting To ASA5510?

Aug 22, 2011

I need to configure a site-to-site VPN using a Cisco 881 router on my end and connecting to an ASA5510 on my suppliers end.Our supplier has configured their end and I do not have access to their configuration.

They told us we have to NAT all inside address' to a single address (192.168.89.1) as this is the only one they will let through their firewall/tunnel.I know how to set up the VPN but not too sure how to set up the NAT part.

My sanatized config is attached. The code I am using to NAT my inside network to the single address 192.168.89.1, and send all traffic accross the VPN tunnel as this address is correct? With the router running this config the VPN tunnel does not connect.

Cisco Switching/Routing :: Configure Existing 2600 Router To Use Dynamic NAT For Access To The Web?

Nov 17, 2011

I need to configure an existing 2600 router to use dynamic NAT for access to the web and ALSO I have (5) fixed IP addresses for use with an email server, a web server, and (3) future servers.  I do not know the concept of how to set this up.  I'm currently using dynamic NAT for the web and this seems OK but I dont know how to map my fixed servers.  I assume this is done with static NAT.  Do I need to add sub interfaces on the S0/0 T1 interface for each of these fixed IPs?  Then do I somehow do static NAT on these fixed IPs to their respective servers?

Cisco Wireless :: 2600 And 3600 Access Points Site Survey

Oct 12, 2012

I know that the deployment guide for 2600/3600 access points states that if you have surveyed for a 3600 deployment, you don't need to survey again for a 2600 deployment. As the the 3600 is the higher specification model, is it safe to assume the reverse? I.e. a site survey carried out using 2600 access points is valid for a 3600 deployment, or is this too simplistic?

Jun 28, 2012

I am attempting to configure Radius authentication accross a site-to-site VPN for my ASA 5510-01 for remote access.

ASA5510-1 currently has a live site to site to ASA5510-2.

ASA 5510-1 - 10.192.0.253

ASA 5510-2 - 172.16.102.1

DC - 172.16.102.10

ASA5510-01 can ping the DC and vica versa but is unable to authticate when i perform a test. ASA5510-01 can authenticate to a DC on it;s own LAN but not on the remote LAN that DC sits on.

I have double checked the 'Server Secret Key' and ports as well as various users which all work locallly. ASA5510-02 authenticates to DC with no problems.

Cisco VPN :: Remote Client Cannot Connect To Local Network Or Site To Site ASA 5510

Jul 21, 2011

I setup RA-VPN under local asa 5510 IP pool (192.168.127.0/24) and all was working fine. I got internet and local network access.
Then i have 5 site to site VPN working fine but when im traying to access to those L2L VPNs from the remote acces client im not able to do that. So after that i decided to obtain IP addresses from my DHCP server so i can obtain IPs from my local network (172.17.16.0/16) and then access normally to the VPN site to site. But the surprise was that the VPN cisco client is getting local IP address (172.17.16.222) perfectly but im not able to access even to my local network.

I have the same-security-traffic permit inter-interface same-security-traffic permit intra-interface enable.

Cisco WAN :: Setting Up Vpdn On 2600 To Connect ISP?

Apr 17, 2011

I have configured VPDN/Dialer on router 2600 to connect to our ISP via Fibre Optics modem but its simply not connecting. The router consists of 3 interfaces

- Inter fa0/0 = 10.0.0.6 255.255.255.248 (LAN 1)
- Inter fa0/1 = IP is unassigned (interface connected to Fibre Optics modem)
- Inter e1/0 = 192.168.200.1 255.255.255.0 (LAN 2)

The connection is planned to run like this:

LAN1 & LAN2 (Inter fa0/0 & Inter e1/0) <-> Inter fa0/1 <-> Dialer1 <-> Modem <-> ISP <-> Internet.

The Modem will just server as mere "modem" or just a bridge, as the actual routing is configured on "dialer interface" in the router. We're not using a dedicated IP address to link to ISP but a public one. After configuring the interfaces, VPDN, dialer interface, NAT, access-list, ISP's assigned username/password, etc I'm simply not connecting to our ISP, even when I do a ping. The ISP's IP address which we're pinging is 118.23.8.80 What am I missign out? How do I connect the dots here?Below are the results for Running config, Ping, and Debug:

Cisco :: 2600 Terminal Server Can't Connect To 3750 / 3560 Switches

Jul 23, 2012

I have a 2611XM that I am using as a terminal server for my lab setup.  Async is using octal cables.  It works great with routers of all different models, but when I connect a switch of any model, it does not work.  The connectivity LEDs don't even light (they do for the routers).  The switches in question are 3750s and 3560s.

I have tried straight through from the octal cable to the console port of the switch, as well as a rollover with a converter, no luck.  This does seem to be independent of configuration on the console port - even before the console port of the routers were properly configured, I at least had indication of physical connectivity.

Cisco Routers :: Configure A SRP527W For A Remote Site

Mar 11, 2013

I am trying to configure a SRP527W for a remote site.It needs to connect back to our Central Office, (via an ASA) which has several VLANs configured.  I have entered the configuration for an IKE policy, and one for an IPSec policy (I can only enter one ip/subnet per IPSec policy)When I try to create a 2nd IPSec policy, if I point to the existing IKE policy, I get an error stating "IKE policy has been used by other IPSec policy".If I try to create a new IKE policy, using a different name, but with the same parameters, it shows an error stating the policy is a replica of an existing policy. If I create a new IKE policy, but use a different pre-shared key, then it is accepted by the 2nd IPSec policy, but that would mean I would have to create 2 seperate tunnels on the ASA, each using a different pre-shared key.  I have never needed to do this for any of the other routers we have connected.

Cisco Routers :: Site To Site VPN Tunnels From A RV042G Router?

I have an issue with 2 site to site VPN tunnels from a RV042G router. The issue is for both VPN tunnels is that in the logs, it is showing that when the RV042G router is trying to establish the tunnel, it is getting a response from the remote gateway internal address and not the Public address of the remote gateways. On the remote gateways I have other site to site VPN's terminating fine and the tunnels are passing traffic. I only have an issue with the RV042. On the VPN Tunnel page it shows for both tunnels waiting for connection.   This is an output from the log of the RV042G
