I Have exented vlan 120,121 from DC-1 to DC-2,the DC-1 and DC-2 are connected using L2 Trunk over fiber terminated on Cisco 6513 on both site ,the distance around 40 Km ,on the DC-2 i just assigned server-1 TO VLAN 120 while server-2 in vlan 121 ,but these servers unable to communicate neither with DC-1 Servers or betwen them locally on DC-2 ,pls note that the servers at dc-2 rely on DC-1 for routing.

I have two server computers. there IP addresses are:
1. 192.168.0.99
2. 192.168.1.99
Now, how to configure it for accessing data from each other?
We are planning to split the Private servers from the DMZ Servers and configure an additional Interface and segment for this purpose.
Private Servers Segment: 192.168.4.0/24 (there is no DHCP all servers' IPs are statically configured)
DMZ Segment: 192.168.3.0/24 (This is a future deployment)
LAN Segment: 172.17.0.0/16
Both, Private Servers and DMZ Servers are in a collocation as well as the ASA5520. There are multiple Branch offices that uses subnets within the 172.17.0.0/16 Network and they are connected to the ASA5520 via Metro-E.
I do not know if this is possible but what I want to do is this:
In order to avoid the change of internal DNS records I want to mask the DMZ servers with a Private Server IP when a Private server or LAN host wants to access it like this:
The FTP server in the DMZ has the IP address: 192.168.3.100. But when a PC from the LAN wants to reach the FTP server it should points to its old IP: 192.168.4.100. This way the PC sends a packet to the ftp.corporate.net (192.168.4.100) the ASA recieves the packet and translate it to the (192.168.3.100) and send it out through the DMZ Interface.
Also if the Private Servers wants to reach the same FTP the ASA will act like a proxy-ARP and send the paquet to the DMZ by means of the translation of the IP.

For a few days, or maybe around a week lol, I havent been able to connect to any Game-servers, may that be Steam, League of Legends, Guild Wars 2 or any of that. I have opened all ports, firewalls are disabled/uninstalled. I've seriously tried every single thing I've read, but I can't get anything to work. My sister can play without any problems, so I think it has something to do with my PC.
View 15 Replies View RelatedI have a media server, running Windows Server 2003, it is also acting as my Domain controller, DNS and DHCP Server, I have a website hosted at UKHost4u.com, and I can also access my media server using the name url, I have pointed this subdomain to my external IP address of my router, in the Cpanel of my hosting acount now my problem is that I can not access my main website from my house, it just sends me to the login screen of my Media Server, it is something to do with the DHCP Server running on my server, as I turned it off and turned the one on my router back on and it cleared the problem.

After uninstalling the HotSpot, I am unable to change TCP/IP and DNS servers settings. My network adaptor is set up to default (automatically obtain ip address). Each time when i tried to change the dns servers settings, it requires a reboot (which is not happened with other PCs). and after reboot, its again set up to obtain ip and dns servers settings automatically.I have Avira FREE antivirus and its not showing any virus.I have cleaned my PC using Malwarebytes, some virus detected and removed but in vain.I am still unable to change my Network Adaptor's dns servers settings.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a issue that i am at a loss as how to solve it. I have an ASA 5505 as my firewall. I have users from other companies who visit from time to time and are unable to use their outlook email to send messages. They can however receive messages without a problem. I also have a situation where users who use windows live to access gmail are unable to send messages.
I have narrowed it down to the fact that these uses are using ssl/tls to send the mails. I did some research and found out about the inspect esmtp setting in the ASA. I have disabled it and i still have to problem. I have also removed all outbound deny statements and still no luck.
Of note is that i can send emails without attachments. They take a long time to go out ( from minutes to hours) but eventually they do. Emails with attachments of even 10k do not go at all.
I was running image 8.2.3 and i downgraded to 8.0.5...still did not work...i upgraded to 8.4.3...still did not work. I am now back at 8.2.3.
My Firewall config is attached. I am at my wits end as to what else to try. The company has not renewed support for the device so i am on my own here!
I've been having a strange intermitent problem with my E1500 wireless router. When we first bought and installed it everything was working well with no known problems. After several months no one using the router was able to access certain websites as well as a game server that we play on. No one had made any changes to the router settings and I assumed at first that it was an ISP problem. After talking with our ISP tech support they finally suggested plugging my PC directly into the modem rather then the router. I did and found that the websites and servers that previously wouldn't connect while using the router were now reachable. Any changes to the router settings since installation.I decided that just in case someone unauthorized had made changes to simply revert the router to factory settings and reinstall the software. After doing this I found that I could again reach the websites and servers that I previously could not. So time went on with no problems until a few months later when the same websites and servers were again unreachable by anyone on our router. I again reset the router to factory settings and changed passwords as a precaution, but this time the websites and servers were unreachable even though I had just reset the router.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm having an issue with my work computer where it can connect to all of the servers in the company accross the country EXCEPT the servers located in New Jersey. I am running Windows XP SP3. I am able to ping the servers and get a response back, but my network drives are disconnected and I cannot open them. I have tried completely uninstalling the driver for my network adapter and reinstalling it with no affect. Mine is the only computer having this problem and I have uninstalled all software that was installed within the past month to be sure. It is ALL of the servers in New Jersey so I know it's a problem with my computer and not the serers. I had a similar issue a while ago where I could ping Google, but could not get to the website, and that ended up being the ZoneAlarm firewall that I had. That was fixed by uninstalling ZoneAlarm and doing an ipconfig /release & /renew. I re-registered some dlls but that didnt work either.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a 6513 with redundant sup 720-3B's that I cannot get onto. In short, one of the power supplies failed, it still passes traffic but I can't console or ssh to the box. Other than the two sup 720's, I have a 4 port 10gig card, a 16 port GBIC Card and an IDS module. I have tried removing the 10Gig, IDS and one of the sup's but still don't get anything on the console. I have rebooted the entire chassis and don't get anything on my console while booting. I have tried changing the speed of my terminal to every setting available incase someone has changed it at some stage but to no avail. I have tried swapping sup's, using only one at a time in the chassis but not getting anything. Is there anything else I can try to get onto this chassis? The power supply is a 3000w with a 32amp input. The failed power supply had tripped a switch, when i brought it back up, the power supply came out but the output failed LED is on. My #questions are, is there anything else I can do to try get onto the console, and is the power supply goosed when the RED LED is lit? I have reseated the power supply also but the same result.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy friend and I bought Acer Aspire 5741's about 9 months ago and neither of us has had any problems until now. My friend went to connect to the internet via wireless router yesterday to find that there was limited connectivity (no internet access). We assumed it was a router issue and I gave her a number of things to check but all seemed ok with it. I went to her house to look at it today and when I ran the connection troubleshooter got "windows can't communicate with.......... (DNS server)". I connected my laptop via her router and everything was fine. I brought her laptop back to my house and tried to connect to the internet via my router and got exactly the same 'DNS' message - my laptop again connected without any problem.
I have re-booted the routers, laptops, network adapters etc and also checked the wireless adapter settings on both laptops, which appear to be the same. I have re-set the TCP/IP stack and have also tried ipconfig /release and /renew - none of which seems to have made any difference. the results of the tests are as follows (linksys is the SSID in use):

I have a server subnet that for the most part needs to be able to access the internet for patches, updates, etc. My SysAd wants 2 of the servers to not have access. The server subnet is attached to a 3750 and connects to an ASA to reach the outside world. Would it be better to setup an ACL on the SVI of the server subnet or on the outbound direction of the outside interface on the ASA.

We have setup a records for the 2 existing servers but cannot get NAT to work properly. We have a block of 5 IP's from FIOS. x.x.x.146-150 and have tried using 146 and 150 as the main WAN static IP with no success in getting the other address to communicate to the corresponding server.
What we need...
Server @ address 192.168.2.2 - SBS Server, standard SBS ports - currently working via port forwarding with WAN static of .150
Server @ address 192.168.2.3 - RDP, HTTP, HTTPS, and others. Some ports are the same as SBS. Trying to NAT .149 to this server.
Server @ address 192.168.2.4 - RDP, HTTP, HTTPS, and others. Some ports are the same as SBS. Trying to NAT .148 to this server.
All servers are on VLAN 1 which has a static IP of 192.168.2.1. DHCP is controlled by SBS.
I am wondering if i can install the LMS in two servers using one license not two?
Also i want to know if i can manage the same set of devices in both servers if they are using the same license or this will not work?
Should i select specific ranges of IP's for both server and in this case, i can use two servers with the same license?
I'm having a problem connecting to multiple servers. I do know that I have stopped the windows firewall and taken out Norton and avg, yet I still can't connect to any servers. I've even tried on other networks! I can download torrents and surf the internet just fine though. I can't connect to an online class server to do my homework, and I've also tried to start playing WOW but neither will connect. I also don't see peer guardian 2 in *services*
