I Have 15 computer and they all are in Internet Connection.And I Have Network of C class that is 192.168.5.11.But the main Problem is that the computer are not getting ping with each other.How can I get them Pinging between them.Can any antivirus stop them?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI saw a strange beaviour in the ACE30 today.We are configuring most of our VIP:s with "loadbalance vip icmp-reply active" and I haven't thought about it that much.I just assumed it would do what the command says.Today an Intel tech called and said that he had taken down the webservice on port 80 on both servers in a serverfarm and he could still ping the VIP.I had a look in the ACE and saw that the VIP was marked OUTOFSERVICE. But he could still ping it at that moment.What is the criteria for the VIP not to respond to ping with the above command set?

View 1 Replies View Relatedlast week I installed a new router (2911) in my network.We had to create two different VLANs for the new setup to work as wanted.I have a Windows 2008 R2 which is a Domain Controller for Active Directory on the ip address 192.168.0.195.That server (HP DL180 G6) has two NICs. One has the above IP address and the other one has 192.168.0.199.
On the other VLAN, I have a server, running the same OS, that I want to re-join, as it formerly was, the AD on the first server (192.168.0.195). This server has the new IP address 192.168.10.194.All these are connected to a Cisco switch SG 200-50 Gigabit Smart Switch. That one is connected to a Cisco 2911 router.
The problem is that, once the old 192.168.0.194 got to be 192.168.10.194, the 192.168.0.195 can't ping it anymore... At least not all the time... Sometime it works, sometimes not... Neither can't the 10.194 ping the 0.195 all the time. When one way works the other one doesn't... When one pings the other one successfully, the other one can't...
I have installed quite recently a cisco ASA 5520 replacing a linux based firewall I have only 2 zones ..one is internal netowrk and other external the internal network has web servers, dns and mail server all having public IPs Every thing is OK but i have seen that if I try to ping an external server for example [URL] i cannot ping says

View 1 Replies View RelatedWe are planning to split the Private servers from the DMZ Servers and configure an additional Interface and segment for this purpose.
Private Servers Segment: 192.168.4.0/24 (there is no DHCP all servers' IPs are statically configured)
DMZ Segment: 192.168.3.0/24 (This is a future deployment)
LAN Segment: 172.17.0.0/16
Both, Private Servers and DMZ Servers are in a collocation as well as the ASA5520. There are multiple Branch offices that uses subnets within the 172.17.0.0/16 Network and they are connected to the ASA5520 via Metro-E.
I do not know if this is possible but what I want to do is this:
In order to avoid the change of internal DNS records I want to mask the DMZ servers with a Private Server IP when a Private server or LAN host wants to access it like this:
The FTP server in the DMZ has the IP address: 192.168.3.100. But when a PC from the LAN wants to reach the FTP server it should points to its old IP: 192.168.4.100. This way the PC sends a packet to the ftp.corporate.net (192.168.4.100) the ASA recieves the packet and translate it to the (192.168.3.100) and send it out through the DMZ Interface.
Also if the Private Servers wants to reach the same FTP the ASA will act like a proxy-ARP and send the paquet to the DMZ by means of the translation of the IP.
i'm trying to connect 5 servers together to create a private network.Each server has a network of it's own and i'm trying to make all 5 servers communicate with each other to share and search data simultaneously..

I configured Gi0/2 as L3 port, connecting to the nearest neighbor. My network runs EIGRP so i advertised the routes into the EIGRP process. The switch forms EIGRP neighbors and learns all routes in the enterprise network. The problems I'm having now are: 1. View 5 Replies View RelatedI set this up and I can ping all the gateways but never the hosts. I was hoping I could make these links between 6500's a mix of L2 and L3. Check it out. They are connected in a linear fashion R1--->R2--->R3. I can ping from R1 to R3's SVI4 gateway but I can never ping a host on that SVI4. I was hoping that I could use the port-channels between 6500's as routed links or as trunk links depending on the type of traffic....thought it would ease the migration. I suppose I could always get rid of the port-channels and just make separate L2 and L3 links between the 6500's.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI had both a Westell 7500 and a Linksys Router working fine and had my 360 setup as an extender for Windows Media Center so I could stream TV, Music, Movies, etc from my desktop to the 360. Then I switched my modem/router out with a Zyxel PH5001Z
So now today I noticed that I can no longer find my desktop through the XBox. I have adjusted my firewall settings on the modem itself, even completely disabling it. UPnP is enabled for the 360 and the device is showing under my device table. At first I wasn't able to ping any network devices but after creating an ICMPv4 Firewall rule it worked fine. I've confirmed the XBox IP Address through Network Map, the Device Table on the modem and through Network Settings on the XBox. I've diabled my modem firewall as well as Windows Firewall, completely and I still can't ping my XBox or set it up as an Extender.
I have the XBox connected wirelessly using WPA2-Personal and it's operating in 802.11g/n mode.
I have a strange issue on my ASA 5510 (8.4). I can't ping or connect to the VPN clients but the VPN clients can ping/connect to any inside resources. I have checked all the NAT extemtion entries.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm having an issue with my work computer where it can connect to all of the servers in the company accross the country EXCEPT the servers located in New Jersey. I am running Windows XP SP3. I am able to ping the servers and get a response back, but my network drives are disconnected and I cannot open them. I have tried completely uninstalling the driver for my network adapter and reinstalling it with no affect. Mine is the only computer having this problem and I have uninstalled all software that was installed within the past month to be sure. It is ALL of the servers in New Jersey so I know it's a problem with my computer and not the serers. I had a similar issue a while ago where I could ping Google, but could not get to the website, and that ended up being the ZoneAlarm firewall that I had. That was fixed by uninstalling ZoneAlarm and doing an ipconfig /release & /renew. I re-registered some dlls but that didnt work either.
